I saw 2 dermatologists before seeing Tammy. They both told me I needed to go on Acutane - but after seeing some friends/family members on it I truly felt like my skin didn't need a solution as intense as that. I decided to try one more location/derm to get a 3rd opinion. Without Acutane (or any intense or invasive procedures) Tammy and Shakeh have TRANSFORMED my skin!!! Perks: - they are very flexible with appointments - Tammy is extremely kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable. I appreciated her kind words and guidance while I was dealing with my acne. She truly listened to my concerns and has been extremely supportive during my entire journey. - Shakeh is just as amazing! I see her for facials every month and she does miracles! The facials I receive are the ones where she just really gets the "gunk" out - which is exactly what I want. My skin has never felt so smooth. All of that to say, it's not a very "relaxing" facial (which I'm sure she can do) but for me I want to leave with really smooth my skin and that's exactly what she does. No other esthetician has done work like her!!! - parking is always available (and it's FREE) - they have taken my multiple insurance plans - front desk/receptionists are always kind whenever I'm running late or need to reschedule. They had the best per paddle rates so I decided to book a consultation and get my abdomen and inner thighs done last year. Consultation was lackluster. I didn't get to see any before or after photos, and wasn't told of potential side effects or what kind of results I should expect. When I asked the nurses if either of them had tried TruSculpt and what they thought, they said they both tried it but seemed unimpressed with their (lack of) results. Despite their lackluster results, they both reassured me I was an ideal candidate (young, healthy, and stable weight). I should've been more wary about their lukewarm feelings about their own results. When I decided to get the treatment, we took photos but didn't take any measurements. In total I used 8 paddles: 2 on upper abdomen, 4 on lower abdomen, and 1 on each inner thigh. For reference, I'm 5'2" and weigh 120 lbs. TruSculpt iD hurt considerably more than I was expecting, but still tolerable. The pain was mostly concentrated by the paddle over my right hip bone since I had slightly less fat on that side. All that pain and money for zero fat loss. I would not recommend TruSculpt, and I wish the nurses were more honest about steering patients away from procedures that they didn't believe in.

It's very to-the-point, and I wouldn't change it. If you're looking for something straight forward and not distracting to take care of things that feel a bit...extraneous...this is the place. The best part, though, are the people you deal with. I usually go on Thursdays and Fridays when Dana and Kelsey work. These two women are professional nurses, so it's not as though you're going to get Botoxed in the back room of a hair salon (I don't know if that's what really happens, but I feel so comfortable with these two). For example, I wanted fillers under my eyes, but the hollows weren't so bad that I needed the full flexible syringe and all of that, but I needed more targeted tiny injections. It was a bit more...pokey...but wow I trusted Dana to do it. The results have been great, and over a year later, I'm still happy. I've been under lasers with both Dana and Kelsey, and I've had more Dysport and Botox than I will admit. Kelsey is always ready for such great laughs while she's injecting Dysport into my forehead - last time I went, I didn't even realize she was done (she was probably using my laughing as a marker for where to put the stuff!). Now, honestly, the real highlight of the whole thing comes from Helen who is the primary customer-facing person for this part of Dr. Lantry's business. When you're a regular and you come in, usually the person at the front desk will be like "You're here for Helen, right?" You say "Yes," she rings a bell, and a few minutes later Helen calls you back. Helen has made so many things that feel so embarrassing and silly feel so comfortable. When I had concerns over how my eyes looked, Helen never stopped for a second to say "Oh you look great!" She looks at me and makes an evaluation and recommends a product. It never feels critical, it never feels like she's selling. She creates an atmosphere of a good friend that just wants to chat about how you can feel better about yourself. And Helen really really really makes you feel good about yourself. She knows her products and she knows the body, and she knows how these things work together. Helen not only talks you through what to expect, but she comes into the room with you. As the needles get closer to your face, she'll keep chatting about all kinds of stuff, give you some gentle taps on the ankle to distract you while Dana or Kelsey (or someone else) is working, and although you can't erase the discomfort, you never stop feeling safe and cared for. I've been so comfortable coming here for years. Ultimately, we all know that this stuff is superfluous and is a luxury item that none of us need. But Helen never, ever, makes it feel ridiculous and is always around to listen to some of your deepest insecurities. She's never judging and always wants to help with some incredibly skilled coworkers. I know it can seem ridiculous to call someone a "friend" who is doing her job, but she does it with such respect and genuine care, it's hard not to feel that way. And with the things I've talked about with Helen, I feel coming to Dr. Lantry's office for these cosmetic procedures is always the right choice. I'd recommend Lantry Laser over and over, and I have. I got a…read morefew things done- botox, filler, and laser hair removal For Botox, I got some units in my forehead and around my eyes as a preventative measure for wrinkles. While I don't have deep wrinkles, I've noticed it really has helped to brighten my face and makes me look more awake and less tired. For my chin, we added some filler to elongate my face and make my face less round. I feel like it's a subtle change, but I've gotten so many compliments on how it just makes my face look more dainty. (Most people think I just lost weight in my face, but when I tell them I got chin filler, that's when they say how good it looks.) For laser hair removal, I was a bit apprehensive to get it since I have dark hairs and a lighter skin tone. I was afraid that I may get dark marks from the laser machine, as I had once experienced before. However, they listened to my concerns and reassured me that they would go on a low setting to prevent that. I didn't get any dark tracks afterwards, and I now only trust them to do the laser on my face. As far as professionalism goes, their staff is great at that. Dr. Jeng, Adrienne, and Sherry were great at listening to what I wanted at my initial consult and made me feel comfortable by addressing my concerns. For example, with the chin filler, I wasn't really sure how it would look and was a little curious if if would fit my face. They recommended to inject only half of my syringe first to see if I would be happy with the outcome. 2 weeks later, I came back to inject the rest and was happy they gave me that option. Some other places may not give you that option, so I can tell they really want their clients to have a positive experience.
