If you're a new patient you can't get in until 6-8 weeks out for a SAME DAY SICK appointment. WOW. Don't recommend them at all.

I was informed at 3:29pm the day before my appointment that my paperwork needed to be done by 5pm to be seen the next day for my appointment that's been scheduled for weeks. Of course I wasn't able to complete the paperwork by 5pm the day before my appointment due to work, picking up my child, and needing to get home at a decent time in traffic. If I was informed prior to the day before my appointment that I needed to fill out the paperwork by 5 pm then that would have been different. But whoever was texting me was rude, unprofessional, and disgusting. I confirmed that I was attending my appointment prior to 5pm and planned on doing my paperwork once I got home. I will be looking for care elsewhere.

The office ambiance is great from decor to music. It's calming because doctor visits can be nerve wracking. Dr. Cudjoe is thorough, makes sure you understand her explanations / plan of treatment, knowledgeable, proactive and has great bedside manner. I'm looking forward to getting my health back on track, maintaining it and trust that I am in good hands. Lynette was also awesome from beginning to end of visit. They both have wonderful personalities & I'm glad that I chose this practice to entrust with my care.

Don't bother booking online or thru ZocDoc. They won't honor your appointment; they said their OWN WEBSITE and ZocDoc don't take into consideration the appointments set up by the receptionists, so they just ignore them, I guess. When I booked (and confirmed via text) there were dozens of appointments available through their website, and at least a handful on ZocDoc. How can they advertise having urgent care service on their site when they are completely booked up? Anyway, they wanted my 80 year old dad to sit in the lobby for up to 3 hours to see if the doc could slip him in somewhere. Wouldn't bother to see if any ETA could be provided by the doc or nurses. Completely trash experience.

One thing I appreciated most about her was how well she listened and how caring her personality was. The only downside for me was that I rarely got to actually see her. I often felt like I was mostly being seen by nurse practitioners instead, and every time I got comfortable with one, there seemed to be a new one. That made it difficult to build consistency in my care. Out of all the practitioners I saw there, Dr. Gina Doe was by far my favorite. I was honestly disappointed when I was switched to someone else. She had such a warm personality, always smiling, very thorough, and she truly listened to her patients. She made me feel heard and cared about. There was another practitioner there, I believe his name may have been Dr. Trung, but personally I felt like he focused too much on pushing medication instead of allowing time to work through things more naturally. Overall, I would give the office about 3 stars. While I did have concerns about consistency and not getting to regularly see the doctor I originally signed up for, I truly appreciated the kindness and professionalism of Dr. Nguyen and especially Dr. Gina Doe.

I've been coming to Dr. N since 2006 when she and her sister(her office is in Dallas and she's a DO)first opened their practice on K Ave. First of all, I like Dr. N very much and how she practices medicine. She and her former front office staff went above and beyond for me to provide excellent medical care and I truly appreciated them. Note: former front office staff. Unfortunately, over the years, it's gotten extremely challenging to secure appointments and it's got to the point where it's booked 3 months in advance. Then pandemic happened and I was only able to go there to get the covid test and vaccines and simply, I didn't go to Dr. N, bc she was either not available or only doing zoom calls and I didn't know how to do that, so I didn't want to bother with it, bc it was very irritating. I mostly went to Care Now, bc they were able to see me right away and they took very good care of me which I really appreciated it, bc I didn't have to wait for 3 months and front office staff were kind and professional. So, once they moved to the bigger facility, busier they got, so they hired new doctors/PA, so I was passed over to those new doctors fresh out of residency, bc Dr. N is not available. I'm a mature woman and I would like someone with some experience and I didn't feel confident or comfortable about this brand new doctor asking me all these questions, the same questions my doctor already knew from seeing me for the past 18 years. Another thing was that he, too, pushed me very hard for me to be on diabetic medicine(I was tricked by another doctor before, not Dr. N to take certain meds for couple of weeks and then, he and his NP told me later on that I'd have to take it for the rest of my life). It was a hard no for me, bc I know they probably get some type of kick backs and I wasn't about to be coerced to be on whatever medication for the rest of my life that I don't need. Anyhow, so going back to Miss Nu, the front office person for Dr. N's office. I called to make an appointment for annual check up, bc my OB/GYN quit practicing last year, so I figured I could get it done at Dr. N's office. Miss Nu said since I had so many no shows(I'm good about calling to cancel/reschedule), besides, during pandemic, I went to Care Now a lot as I mentioned before, bc they were available and accommodating. So, Miss Nu with her very condescending tone told me that in order for me to make an appointment, I'd have to pay $25. I said for what and Miss Nu said for no shows and she said I haven't been to the clinic since 2022 and I said that's a lie, I was there in 2023 to do flu shot and covid vaccine and blood work. She didn't even know the correct year I was there and I called and canceled appointments, bc of my schedule conflicts. She said she called and left messages, bc I didn't pick up the phone and I told her, I don't wait by the phone to answer, bc I work and I'm out of state/country with diff time zones. She said it's the patient's responsibility to acknowledge the appointment and I did and I canceled it. All she kept saying is I'm just doing my job. If she'd been nice and kept talking over me, I'd paid the $25, but I'm not, bc I was not no show and they made appointments without my knowledge and then, they called me the day before and I wasn't home. Because of the way Miss Nu's treatment of me and the way she talked down to me like I was a second class citizen, no way I was going to pay it. She said we're not going anywhere and if you don't pay the $25, we can't make an appointment. I asked her for the manager and she said she wasn't there and she said she'd let Dr. N know and hung up on me. How unprofessional and rude. First, she demanded I pay $25 and when I refused, she'd keep my appointment for hostage. I'm very disappointed and disgusted the way I was treated by Miss Nu. I'd love to continue to go to Dr. N, but someone like Miss Nu who's gatekeeping at the front office and keeping my appointment hostage for $25 trying to keep me from staying healthy and talk to me any crazy way, I don't need to put up with this nonsense from someone who clearly lacks diplomatic skills and professionalism. These young people have no respect for elders and don't know how to treat people. Shameful! Now, because of her shenanigans, I have to start all over again and find a new doctor, thank you, Miss Nu. I'm going to see the new doctor on 6/25. I hope she's as nice as Dr.N and her staff are nice and professional.

I have taken over 24 hours to process my interaction with Dr. Mallick yesterday and I hope that…read morewith my feedback, Dr. Mallick will truly take time to self reflect for future patients and for others to take this into consideration as they search for a doctor. I was really excited to meet with Dr. Mallick. He seemed like exactly what I was needed. I have chronic gut health issues (poor digestion, nausea, bowel issues) and he emphasized finding the root cause. This is just what I was looking for and after being so sick for 3 days, I booked a call with him. Looking back, I see similarities to my interaction on the call and the interaction we had in person. I scheduled the call, watched the linked video which looked good, he seemed to be the type of doctor I needed to truly heal. On the phone call itself, I briefly explained my issues and the call seemed a little bit rushed but I assumed he was busy, he is a doctor. I was handed to his receptionist and scheduled my appointment, he said to think of this first appointment as an interview. My husband, who took off for this appointment and my 1 year old son came with. The appointment begins and he talked a lot about the process, asked me some questions - but not with the intent to get to know me, understand, or to listen but because he was listening for the response he needed to decide whether to take me as a patient. During the appt, he told me he has ended consultations early in the past, once he learns that they are not the right fit for him. He asked many questions, some in repeat because he was making sure I was committed to his process and he made this very known. He seemed understanding of my son being there but when my son needed me for a moment (I was still listening, parents learn how to multitask) and said how "he will wait" before continuing. At the end of the appointment, he talked about the investment which for 4 months (which is what he recommended for me) it was $5600 and included everything such as supplements, future appointments, etc. When we started discussing financials, we felt pressure to sign up for their financing, apply right there, and we will be all set to start. We took time to privately discuss and I decided that I wanted to give Dr. Mallick the benefit of the doubt and asked if I can discuss some concerns with him. I didn't want to write him off without trying - this is about my health after all. I shared my concerns about how the interaction felt very different than I was expecting. I explained that I was seeking a human to human interaction, someone to truly listen to me, to take time to ask about what I was experiencing, and I asked for more transparency for what the treatment plan is which he doesn't usually share in detail as to not overwhelm the patient. He said he has had 3-4% of patients that would drop out of his process. He said "it's called vetting" to describe what his initial consultation is for. Reflecting back, I consider that a small percentage when the percentage of patients who likely walk away after this type of interaction are probably much higher. When I said that I was looking for someone to truly listen, he said "Didn't I listen when I was asking you questions about (XYZ)?". There is a difference between listening for the right response & truly listening to someone. He also said how the appointment can't be like "having a coffee and chatting". Which looking back, I feel that my concerns themselves were not only refuted but again, not truly listened to. We left without signing up for anything and I went home and sobbed and prayed to God for help. I felt like I would never find anyone to help me until, with the help of God's direction, I found Dr. Joel Miller, a functional medicine doctor that loves to serve and listen. Dr. Mallick, I hope you truly reflect on my feedback and the concerns that I see others have shared in the past. I also encourage others to read his responses to previous negative reviews.
