As the mother of the bride, this is so difficult for me to write & I ALWAYS want to support small…read morebusiness especially in my area. My daughter (the bride) was probably the easiest bride to work with (according to everyone else), she was extremely organized & shared with every hired professional that she trusted they knew their job so she didn't see the need to micromanage. My daughter does like her pictures, however, I am not impressed with the edits. I think some people look worse. Tori's husband was starting a videography business & we agreed to be "guinea pigs" & my daughter was not really picky about the video itself. She wanted the highlight social media video & made it clear that the SPEECHES were more important than even their vows bc they wanted to be able to go back and re-watch them. Now, the ONE THING that my daughter wanted in her video, she doesn't have & we can never get those moments back. My daughter tried to communicate after the wedding (after 90 days as promised on the contract to receive the 1st batch of pictures & my daughter had to ask for them) it was like pulling teeth to get a response. Tori would completely ignore my daughter's messages to her. After 6 months, I got involved. I sent a professional email asking for help & guidance from Tori regarding the footage that Andrew (her videographer & husband) had taken. No response (to me or my daughter). I finally texted her (this is how she communicated with me). My messages to her were kind bc my daughter just wanted her pics/video. Tori's response was full of excuses as to why she hadn't gotten back to me (mind you at this point still had not gotten back to my daughter either) yet has time for social media posting of smoking or whatever explaining to the world why you can't return people's calls or get their pictures to them. I again explained that my daughter was upset by the fact that the "raw footage" did not include the main thing she had requested & please let me know the date she would have her final pictures since it was well over 6 months. This is her response back to me - COPIED/PASTED except changing names to bride & groom. "good morning-- any + all communication from this point forward will be directly with BRIDE + GROOM. have a blessed week, Jeni!" 1st OF ALL, my name is listed on MY OWN LOGIN on her site as client with my daughter's. Second of all, she didn't hesitate to communicate w/me to get her $4200+++. She didn't hesitate to send me every excuse in the book, yet now, would not communicate with me? To be respectful of my daughter, I did not respond & let her communicate with my daughter only. Tori sent my daughter screenshots of our conversations (which my daughter already had), & then told her that she wouldn't communicate w/me & would "be in touch at HER earliest convenience" on the pics (ALWAYS her reply - 6 mos apparently is not enough time for wedding photos). Once my daughter shared her extreme disappointments, Tori responded with a thank you for keeping me in the loop? Funny after multiple text message by me & my daughter, miraculously those last pictures arrived just today (MORE THAN 6 MONTHS AGO). The video footage does not even exist because Andrew only took 10 second clips!!!!! WHO ON EARTH does not video the entire speeches??????? Even if you cut them for a highlight reel, you still send the raw footage to the bride! His "raw footage" was filled with clips that he chose to take that day. He videoed in clips! Save yourself the stress and do not hire Tori Elizabeth or Andrew for your wedding photography or videography. I do not recommend. I own several businesses and my most important rule is to underpromise and overdeliver. That is not how this business is run. EXTREME lack of communication, breaking of their own contract and lack of professionalism, my daughter does not have some of the most important memories of her day to look back on. Very unprofessional & my heart is broken for my daughter.

I've been struggling with the idea of writing this review, but feel compelled to share our…read moreexperience, as I am sure others may find themselves in the same situation. We first met Otto through a Craigslist advertisement, where he was searching for models to help him explore areas around his new neighborhood of Joliet, IL, to give him inspiration for future shoots there. As the newly-engaged fiancee to a photographer myself, I felt compelled to respond to the ad, and within a few days, we had met Otto in downtown Joliet. As far as Otto's technique and professionalism, I know that the dynamic between a couple and their photographer largely depends on the personalities of each person and the intention with which they approach the shoot, but my partner and I were a bit put off by the excess of light boxes and staged posing. Still, for couples who seek photographers with this style, I do think that Otto would be a great match. Otto is a very friendly and funny person, and we felt that he was respectful and supportive of our relationship, which I am sure is hugely important for any couple contracting someone to capture it on their wedding day! When we received the images from the shoot, we were happy with his work and very grateful that he shared these with us. It wasn't until recently that I began to feel a bit uncomfortable about having worked with Otto. I had stumbled across something he had published that hinted at an anti-gay mentality, and was surprised by this finding. I was initially hurt, but my partner pursued it further with him to allow him the opportunity to explain what he meant. We were met with a response that was offhand and flippant regarding our concern, and could not help but feel the sting of hypocrisy at its finest. This review is not meant to attack Otto on his stance on LGBT rights, as everyone is entitled to his opinion, but I think it is disheartening to work with someone who claims he is supportive of gay marriage when he is working with a gay couple (for monetary gain or otherwise), and who then turns his back on the issue when he is no longer under contract. This may not mean much to most people, as questions of their unions never surface, but I would be doing a disservice to myself and the LGBT community at large by not revealing our experience.

This review is LONG overdue as our wedding was May 2010. *gulp*…read more I have known Otto for years. We went to school together. And although we worked together on many projects, photography was always his strongest love and passion. When we worked together, you could appreciate his sense of detail, his eye and ability to bring out the best in people by disarming the situation. It was a no-brainer when the time came to get married that Otto would be the one to do the photos. We didn't want the standard photos you see so often. We'd seen the work he's done for others and in his own home with his family. With only one request (big family photos), we left him alone to do his work: gave him free reign, full access. And with that, his thoughtful, photojournalistic style made our wedding as vivid in stills as it did in real life that day. In terms of logistics, our non-standard wedding (outdoors, in a public park) were no problem for Otto. He quick assessed the situation and delivered stunning photography that has been the rave of everyone who has seen them. He is strongly strongly recommended. And if you have any questions about his work, please feel free to DM me.
