At first I thought it was a tad expensive for a kids party, but honestly it was worth every penny. The fields are maintained and kept up well. The parking lot was almost full as there were 2 or 3 games that evening. According to some basic information I found online, Columbine Park is located at 544 28 1/4 Road. This park has one shelter with nine picnic tables and two barbecues. Rental fee is $45 for 4 hours; $25 for each extra hour. They have a large play ground for the kiddos and a huge grassy area for dogs, a football game, some ultimate, a volleyball game, whatever your heart desires. Heck, get a slip'n-slide out and have a party!

I am so happy there is a place like Glacier Ice Arena for my preteen to hang out in! This a great place for someone who wants to learn to ice skate or already skates. This is also where the local hockey teams and figure skaters compete. There are public skate times so check the website for those. The cost is inexpensive! $10 for all day skating and skate rental. If you have a newbie on the ice, they have safety cones which slide on the ice with you as you hold on. Easy peasy! The more advance skaters will skate around you. Today, there were more than 50 people all ranging in age from probably 7-60...no joke! The music is great; my daughter and her friends enjoy singing and skating to the beats. They offer food such as pizza, hotdogs, nachos, and chili. There is also ice cream and cocoa. The rental skates are in great condition and the staff was really friendly.

There is also no parking aside from street parking, and all 4 streets around it are very busy. I hadn't golfed in over 20 years when we moved here and I beat my teenage son by 1 stroke. Priceless. But this is what really earned them 5 stars. My mother in law passed away and I was put in charge of the reception after the funeral hall couldn't hold enough people. I started calling venues and Tim was great. We booked it and he was very accommodating. An oral agreement and one item crossed off my very busy list. THANK YOU!
