Hi everyone! So my wonderful husband specifically searched for a place to suprise me with a pregnancy massage since I was in my 4th pregnancy and a high risk one at that. $200 for the appointment, he also included the foot massage because I work long 12 hour night shifts. Well we had a scare the day of the appointment, and I just needed to reschedule or have them work with us somehow. I understand their time is valuable but they showed no mercy, no empathy for us not being able to make the appointment. I could have provided documentation from my doctor even but there only choice was for us to find another pregnant woman to take my spot! I dont leave negative reviews often, but this was terrible business. I was hoping to find a spa I could attend after pregnancy because of my back but this will not be the place for me and I don't recommend for anyone else unless you nvr plan on having emergency situations come about. I was excited for my appointment because they talked their services up, including the tables that are specifically made for our pregnant belly's . But honestly none of that matters if you don't care about your customers. read more

We bought my pregnant wife a gift card here for a well deserved recharge. She had preciously loved this spa, but called to mention that she was exposed to covid as it was part of a previous pre-screening questionnaire. The good news was she had previously tested negative that day. The spas response was shocking... She was then told she COULD NOT hold her appointment or reschedule due to sharing this information, and was forced to pay for half of the appointment regardless of her desire to reschedule for a later date. So, lets be clear, Jennifer Brand cancelled this appointment - and also rendered the gift card we got her to use for a maternity massage useless. We asked for a call back from a manager to discuss options for using her remaining gift card balance, they never called. If, despite charging 2-3x your competitors rates, you cant afford to account for cancellations related to your covid policy...prospective clients should be aware of the financial risk they take by booking an appointment. My wife and I have been going to Jennifer Brand Spa for corrective and therapeutic massage treatments, which greatly help us deal with our autoimmune conditions, for years now. They both approach issues from different perspectives; but they are both the best in the business, bar none! We've been to one of the other large chain massage locations, and they were awful. I work in an extremely dirty environment. Lately I've been having a few breakouts on my nose. I personally thought I had a very good facial regimen. Not until I had a facial done by Brittany, did I realize I really needed it! . Wow! My face hasn't felt this good in a long time. My skin feels extremely soft, hydrated and yes... It's glowing. I was able to get a massage same day. The massage itself was a good massage and you were able to add on a essential oil/scent for free which I thought was a really good added bonus. Unfortunately the next day I ended up having muscle spasms and locked my shoulder so needless to say massages just not for me. read more

Jessica is a miracle worker. I've not had much mobility in arms and legs for a couple of months. My neurosurgeon suggested I get a massage. I needed a true therapuetic massage and not a "spa" massage, so I set out looking for someplace that offered that. I hadn't been here or even heard of it, but because of the reviews, I made an appointment. I am ever so glad I did! Jessica worked on me and I had more mobility after leaving than I had since November. I was so impressed with her, the facility, and the level of customer service, that I bought my sister a gift card because she just has to try it! If you want the best massage in St. Louis (and I've had MANY), make the appointment! I don't ever leave reviews unless I had a really bad experience or a really good experience. I've never been here, but I am very displeased with their customer service via phone. I made an appointment for a couples massage about 2wks before our Oct 25 appt. I called today (10/21/2020) to confirm the time for our arrival. The lady answering the phone attempted to confirm with me our masseuse and the level of firmness, which was news to me because no one asked me that when I called to make the appt. She wanted to confirm with me that we were getting someone who could only do medium to light pressure and also gave her name. Again, it was new to me seeing as though i didn't get a name or was asked a preference in the beginning. I told the lady, i wasn't aware of those choices, but all I wanted them to know is that, my husband and I are both plus size people and as long as we can feel our massage and leave satisfied, then whomever and whatever pressure would be fine. She then said, well i don't think "such and such" will be a good match for you guys. I then asked if she could give someone else. She said there is no one else available that day. She then wanted to reschedule me for another day. I told her that day was made for a special reason, that being my husbands birthday. Her response was, "do you just want me to cancel the appt then". Luckily i called to confirm the time, or we would have showed up and been very upset. Needless to say, i had to cancel and find another studio last minute. read more
