Each therapist knows what therapy I have had and how I should progress to additional movements. Dan and Issi are great: so enthusiastic and helpful as well as knowledgable too. They monitor my movements to be sure they are done correctly. They are all positive and supportive. The facilities are easily accessible with lots of parking. The waiting area the treatment rooms and areas spotless as are all the equipment and rest rooms.

He has always made sure that I was taken care of and that everything was good with my meds, I can't say enough about the staff. They are pleasant and they do their job. Another doctor in the BayCare system told me, "Oh, Dr. Brown? She's excellent." Based on her diagnosis and treatment, I believe it. She's action-oriented, determined, and clearly committed to making a positive impact. I also received exceptional care from one of her nurses, Jessica, who called me after hours to check on my condition. Unfortunately, my experience gets mixed from there. You'll see negative reviews of this practice, and here's my read on why. Dr. Brown is brilliantly competent, but she can come across as cold and unempathetic. I say this as a leadership psychologist (Dr. Brown -- you should reach out to me; I can help). I noticed the same thing with another assistant of hers: highly competent, but no warmth in the communication. That's not uncommon in medicine. It's unfortunate, because this team is brilliant with the Xs and Os. It's the Jills and Joes part that could use some elevation. Then came the moment I lost some trust. I had a flare-up and was in a lot of pain. I called and asked for a same-day appointment. The person at the front desk said, "I think we can get you in here or at our other facility. I'll call you back with a time." She never called. I'm guessing it was a simple oversight by someone overwhelmed with other tasks, and I could have called back myself -- that's on me. But the follow-through was Dr. Brown's responsibility. She's the leader. It was disappointing, and I lost some trust. I'm still rooting for Dr. Brown and her office, and I will try them again. Everyone makes mistakes. But this time, it will be with hesitation.

Finally, a physician that cares…read more I've seen Dr. Guirguis for a few years now. He, his colleagues, and staff are truly exceptional at what they do. I see a lot of physicians regularly over the past 15 years, and dew are as honest, as caring, or as thorough as Dr. Guirguis. I've been traumatized by poor physicians in my lifetimes, so the term "White Coat" just doesnt cut it. Yet when I go to see Dr. G , Zed, and everyone else at PP, it's like I'm going to see people I know, because they truly care. (And in the modern medical climate, this is the most rare of traits.) Most importantly... he is honest. When he talks to me, I can tell his sincerity. I can see and feel his empathy. To be honest, without Dr. Guirguis... I simply would not be here today. It takes a lot for me to trust a doctor, and he has earned my trust beyond any other. He has given me back a life I thought I could never have again. I'm no longer just living...
