Very pleased with Dr. K. Took the time to listen. Ran extensive blood work tests. Made a diagnosis that appears to be spot on.

While Dr. Judd was attentive, knowledgeable and nice during my first appointment, what followed was absurd. My visit live to the office as a potential new patient, I asked the center administrator if my insurance Blue Cross Highmark Freedom Blue PPO (Pennsylvania) was accepted. After checking with others in back she said, "YES!" I took the doctor's next available appointment. When I arrived for my appointment this same gal asked again for my insurance card, and accepted it. When I received the first invoice from the doctor's office by mail, the bill says I owe $208.57 because they do not accept my insurer. The day before getting my scheduled blood testing, I arrived at the office to question the charge. All I got was that I was responsible for payment because my insurer isn't accepted. They cancelled my next day appointment. When second notification of payment due $208.57 arrived via mail ahead of my scheduled follow up appointment, I decided to go anyway. When I arrived at the office for my appointment scheduled months ahead, I was told they cancelled it. Making matters worse, the primary purpose for the blood testing and this follow up appointment, as prescribed by Dr. Judd, was to monitor the effect Ozempic combined with weight loss was having on my barely significant amount of raised blood sugar, but not yet high enough to be classified as diabetes. Even worse, I got nowhere in trying to explain to the office administrator, who initially made the error, that the mistake was on their end, not mine. I politely told the gal, "Anyone who cannot tell this is your mistake, not mine, is either incompetent or stupid." I left the office totally frustrated. After explaining what had transpired to the gal at the business office, the bill was discharged. Needless to say, I will not be going back. Totally unexpected. And what? This place saved her life. ER doctors were great! Nurses, 100% amazing! Lance on the 4th floor called for ICU when he realized she was septic at 104F it. Then. Dr Lombard - Urologist. Saved her life - both of them. Then Donna - Charge nurse on floor 5 after everything was done. Her crew was top notch and #1. My wife spent 11 days in this hospital. Donna and her nursing staff were the best I have ever experienced at ANY hospital in my entire life. Kudos to these ladies who work their butts off behind the scenes. They even let my Dalmatian come into the hospital with me. And I had only 1 really terrible nurse on the 4th floor ( Julie - you know who you are - thank god you do not work for me - you'd be fired instantly - you almost killed my wife - thanks for not listening to her - made her sleep in puke with a 104 fever and septic - real good Julie. ) Lance came on shift after Julie and noticed she was 104F and called for ICU instantly and knew she was septic. This Julie nurse almost killed my wife - I hope you can sleep at night. Every single other doctor and nurse was thorough and helpful. Thank you to Lance on 4, Donna on 5, and ALL of the nurses on 5. My wife and I have sat and cried about how well she was treated at this place. We have reflected on how Julie almost killed her. And how Lance saved her life, and Dr Lombard as well. We cried about all the great experiences we had on the 5th floor with Donna and each of her nurses. Donna and her staff made this the absolute most wonderful hospital stay that I have ever experienced in my entire life. I want to express extreme gratitude to these people. Thank you! You saved her life! *Quick mention* Security staff at the front entrance - you guys were top-notch. I really enjoyed you guys, and thank you for everything! You guys were amazing and deserve a raise!!!!!

About two weeks ago my mom was admitted after a stroke and everyone from the ER triage nurses to the people delivering meal trays were just so nice, helpful and patient with my mother and kept our family up to date with things regarding her health. Since we spent a few long days at the hospital we were given a cart with tea, coffee, bottled water, soft drinks, fruit and snacks every day that were were there. That was completely unexpected and so appreciated. I especially appreciate the nurses in the Neuro ICU unit and the nurses in the third floor comfort care unit. Their compassion and was incredible especially since such an awful time in our lives. They have a DD downstairs in the lobby and a cafeteria where the food actually isn't bad at all. They even provide meals free of charge sent to the patient's room if you want.

I was advised by my OB/GYN to seek care at the ER or Urgent Care. During my visit, Dr. Yeager asked whether I was having a boy or a girl. I explained that I did not yet know and would be finding out this weekend. He then stated that with "all these moms taking medications," by the year 2035 all boys will be on the spectrum. I found this remark to be inappropriate, insensitive, and unprofessional. It was unrelated to my medical care and made me feel uncomfortable during an already vulnerable time. Additionally, the comment made me feel as though I was wrong for seeking care, despite following my OB/GYN's instructions to go to the ER or Urgent Care. No patient should feel judged for seeking medical attention when advised to do so. I also did not feel that my symptoms or concerns were taken seriously. Compassionate bedside manner and respectful communication are especially important during pregnancy, and I did not feel that standard was met during this visit. I have always trusted BayCare Health System for my healthcare needs and have consistently had positive experiences. Unfortunately, this interaction did not reflect the level of professionalism and patient-centered care I have come to expect. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed to ensure that future patients receive respectful and appropriate care. Victoria P

He keeps you waiting then spends most of the visit talking about himself! He belittles your reason for making the appointment, even when requesting an overdue follow-up scan for lung cancer, saying it's not urgent and at the bottom of the list! He is a control freak who does not LISTEN to his patient. But the worst thing is his violation of HIPAA. The exam room doors are never closed and while waiting for him, you can hear EVERY word as he "treats" the patient in the room next door or across the hall. Even personal questions and answers are broadcast in his loud, booming voice. Someone (who should know better) recommended him to me, and after reading some glowing reviews online, all I can say is that those raving about this "doctor" don't know what a good, professional physician is! My advice is steer clear of him and the Largo Dedicated Senior Medical Center. The front desk Manager, Connor, did not even have the courtesy to follow up with my complaint, despite saying he would. Nor did Christopher Chen, the CEO of Chen Medical--who owns the Dedicated Senior Centers--return my call, so right there, that speaks volumes about this shady outfit! It's all about money at these controlling geriatric clinics. I guess my next call will be to Medicare re the violation of HIPAA.
