My husband and I aren't your typical bride and groom, we're a bit on the spooky side of things, and Jenn was super open to our ideas and tossed in a bunch of her own. We did our engagement photos at the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride and she did a great job of utilizing the backdrop to not only suit our taste, but capture classy photos. She was so flexible in terms of scheduling and did a really great job working around our busy schedules. Jenn knew my wedding venue really well and she already had a plan for where we were going to do portraits, first-look, etc. It was a relief to have one less thing to worry about. She also did a great job of of meeting my demanding shot list. When we were getting ready for the ceremony and during the reception she was like a ninja, meaning I didn't feel like she and her assistant were ever in the way. We have so many great photos from our wedding day. We even had to add 10 extra pages to our album because she got so many good shots we simply couldn't narrow it down. The package we purchased from her included our engagement photos, wedding day photos, and an album. It was a great value and I'm so glad we went with her. She was very responsive to emails and phone calls as well. I felt like all my questions got answered right away. Jenn was the photographer for our wedding and I don't know if I can say enough good things about her and her work! She is, quite simply, the best photographer I've worked with. She took our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos. Jenn was recommended to us by our venue. Looking at her site, I loved her work, her attention to detail, and familiarity with our venue. She also has very reasonable pricing and different packages to suit your needs. My husband and I picked the package with 8 hours of wedding coverage and a second shooter. We also purchased an engagement session. A couple months before our wedding, we decided to add an extra hour of wedding photography coverage and she was very flexible in making that happen. For our engagement photos, we picked a place in Pasadena and Jenn met us there. We began by taking photos in one spot then we started walking and moving around the city and Jenn would point out spots that would make great picture backdrops. The turnaround for our engagement photos was quick, within four weeks. Before our wedding day, Jenn and I chatted about specific photos we wanted to be taken and the kind of overall vibe we were going for with our photos. She arrived on our wedding day so pumped and ready to work. Jenn is such a positive and fun person it's impossible not to smile and have fun while she's taking your picture. Got married at the Calamigos Equestrian in Burbank on 5/25/19. I got connected to Jenn through the venue and I'm so glad I did. Here's a few reasons why: 1. Jenn is a preferred vendor at the Calamigos Equestrian, so there's much less paperwork. Also helpful that she knows her way around the venue and the best spots for photos. 2. She is affordable. I got quotes from several different photographers and Jenn's pricing was the most competitive. 3. Jenn is cool, calm and collected. Her hair literally caught on fire by a candle that was hanging on the wall and she just put it out, composed herself and got right back into taking photos like it never happened. 4. Hiring Jennifer was by far the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding. She is the perfect wedding photographer! We had her shoot our engagement and wedding and we are beyond thrilled with the results. Ok first off she is prompt and professional. She responds to emails within a day and shows up to appointments early and well prepared. Within a few days after the engagement session and the wedding she emailed us a teaser of about 10 pics and we received the full version a couple weeks later. Second she is just brilliant. She has amazing traditional and abstract ideas that work with her subjects. She captures the light beautifully and always photographs with the best and most flattering angles. My husband and I have never ever had professional photographs taken and we were nervous we would be awkward but Jenn had us laughing the whole time and never made us feel uncomfortable. Jennifer is an amazing photographer and a great personality who will take all the pictures you request, while keeping the mood fun and exciting. She also had a sense of urgency so you didn't feel like you were sitting around taking a million pictures and missing the party! Jennifer shot my wedding in October 2015 and all of my bridal party members noted how fun she was, what a great sense of humor she had, and how it was so easy taking pictures with her.
