My daughter has been involved in counseling for much of her young life, and for the last several years, utilizing the more intense and focused services the Central Coast has to offer-with little success. Somewhat exasperated with the process and cynical to the list of promises I perceived as a sales pitch, I found myself far more direct then I usually am, with pointed questions and detailed concerns. I was impressed with the professional attitude maintained throughout my questioning and surprisingly impressed with the answers. They have kept every promise they made to us during that initial interview. The staff are invested in each of the clients, and groups are kept small to ensure everyone gets individual time. The activities are varied, age appropriate, and something a teenager would actually be interested in.
