My husband and I have moved multiple times and worked with many realtors. We have never worked with someone like Rachel. We are so thankful that our friends referred her to us. I was skeptical at first that someone could really be so great - after all, what real value to agents add nowadays given the age of the internet? (So I thought...) You tell her your tastes one time and she gets it. We were in the market for a home needing TLC and she was spot on with a number of places she showed us. She also was more than willing to work on deals that were complicated (probate, estate sales) and that would take more of her time/energy. If we sent her an inquiry about a place we saw on Redfin, she would respond quickly with details on why/why not it was a place to see. Even when we were unavailable to see a place, she would go check it out on our behalf. No bringing you to see homes that don't make sense. You don't have to ASK her to get info on a house from the selling agent, she does it automatically. And she gets every last detail, including multiple reports that underwriters need nowadays. She will be honest with you about if a house is over/under/fairly valued. You don't have to worry about her showing houses only at the top of your budget. Or fighting to get you the best selling price, even if it is only $5k difference (or a better toilet when the seller has to install one! HA!). She also doesn't sit on her hands when things, procedurally, get hung up - she gets on the phone to figure out a solution even if the other end isn't playing nice. Even more, Rachel really pampers her clients even after the close. She continues to check in and see if she can be helpful with anything as we go through our reno. This is the third house I've sold in the Peninsula, so I'm no newbie to the process. But my god, I should have listened to the "warnings" I heard from others in the community.
