I can't believe I'm giving 5 stars to a realty management. I'm kind of a Warren, Bernie, rent control kind of person. Nevertheless, revolution isn't happening anytime soon and while capitalism still reigns, Peninsula Prime Realty deserves 5 stars. I lived in Boston for 2 years post grad and dealt with terrible landlords and realties. (See review for My City Realty) From the beginning to end PPR has been efficient and professional, and extremely clear. We got our unit in a matter of days. You paid rent and put in requests through an online system. Requests were fixed promptly and correctly. Email communication was swift. Meetings with the agents were prompt. We only had to show our unit once before it was booked. Lily was super friendly and gave us dumpling reservations after she saw we liked Boba per our Happy Lemon key chain. Check-out was smooth and Lily set expectations appropriately. For our unit our landlord took $105 from our deposit to clean the blinds and oven, and we're not even mad about it because Lily made it very clear what had to be done. I agree; it was my fault the blinds weren't dusted and the kitchen stove was not as spotless as it should have been! I highly recommend PPR. I only just saw the property today and have to write this yelp review. This has been, by far, the best experience I have encountered during our apartment hunt. For the past few months I have contacted more people than I could count in relation to a posting. Most the time, people never got back to me. And if they did it was for a complex that has multiple units, but yet not the one they posted. Always one way out of our budget. When I saw the listing for an apartment posted by Peninsula Prime Realty I immediately had a great feeling. But not the, "this is too good to be true". Almost like the, "I found the dress type of feeling"! I reached out to made an appointment and Lily responded in minutes to set up a showing. She was very accommodating and informative. Everything was transparent! The way customer service should be! When we got to the showing she was so happy and positive. She let us know all about the location and said great things about the owner of the property. I could tell this was a genuine experience. We rented a property managed by Peninsula Prime Realty for a little over 2 years recently and I could easily say that they are one of the greatest management experiences I've had in my past 10 years of renting in the peninsula. Lily and Sarah are always responsive to emails and repair request, and have always been fully transparent with us whenever something comes up, which I think makes them very trustworthy. Brandon Kley is a phenomenal realtor. From the very beginning, I was impressed with his approach, and he followed through to a successful purchase of my top choice. I was a first-time homebuyer. Perhaps more important than the way he treated me was the diligence and respect that he showed to everyone else. The seller, my lender, and the title company staff were all put at ease by his work. Brandon had prepared a range of great listings in my price range, and once I chose the best place, he did all the follow-up that led us to successfully close. Very disappointed in the experience I had with Lily Pizano. We had set up an appointment for me to view a rental property and upon arrival I realized I didn't know which unit I needed to go to as I only had the street address. I texted Lily to let her know I was there and asked what unit it was and she texted back asking "Did you see our email this morning?" I replied saying that I hadn't received anything from her. She then sent a picture of her computer screen to show an email was sent via Craigslist at 1:14pm - which wasn't during the morning and was only 3 hours and 15 minutes prior to our appointment time - stating the unit had been leased. This was followed by a phone call from Lily asking if it was possible the email went to my spam folder. In my mind I was thinking that her question was beside the point since 1) they had already leased the property and 2) I was standing outside in the cold, frankly wasting my time after leaving work 2 hours early just to be able to meet her. Regardless of if I received the email or not, which for the record I haven't (yes, even in spam), when you're canceling an appointment on the same day, I'd personally expect to be contacted by phone rather than email. Alternatively, maybe after sending her email if she hadn't received any confirmation from me to let her know I understood the appointment was cancelled within an hour of the appointment time that she could have taken the time to call me to double check. What's funny is that the last email I sent to Lily said "Just in case anything changes and you need to get a hold of me, my cell phone number is XXX-XXX-XXXX. Otherwise, see you tomorrow at 4:30." Word to the wise, we're not all attached to our email boxes so take into consideration other people's time and communicate more directly. So much for that! read more

I did a lot of research on property management firms. Lily of Peninsula Prime Realty was my choice as the firm to handle our single-family house fix-up, rental, and ongoing management. We have been extremely pleased with her work. Lily did an amazing job of getting great contractors to quickly handle the various projects, despite the busy construction cycle. The estimate by the hardwood floor finisher came in way under the one I had obtained before we hired her, and the firm did a great job! Lily responds to emails or calls very promptly, even on the weekend or after hours. Lily is detail minded, professional, patient, willing to explain anything that might be even a bit unclear, and flexible. Knowledgeable about construction, as well as rental and tax rules, Lily provided appropriate advice. She advertised the house and cleared a prospective tenant in a very short time, reducing the vacancy period when we were not getting any income. Lily's materials to the new tenant were very clear, protecting both the owner and the tenant. Her fees are extremely reasonable.
