I took my mom and her bestie, both 78yo, and myself (45yo) to Jenn's Jeep and had the experience of a lifetime! John listened to us and then planned a 2 day adventure around our abilities. He mapped out a path for us to drive a brand new jeep around all day (pro tip- take video of John's computer screen while he is showing you the routes -2-3 min intervals is best so you keep organized- as you will not have gps in the back country to guide you but John's videos can!) ... The self guided adventure he sent us on was one I will never forget. I conquered the Shafer Basin Switxhback Trail and Potash Rd, just to name a few. (I definitely did not pretend floor it at the Thelma and Louise drop off point..) John even directed us to some local gems that were spectacular. The mom's and I had a blast. The next morning, we chased the sunrise through Arches Ntl Park using John's helpful videos again! He directed us down a super fun off roading trail on the way out and we saw Dino tracks! Oh my- I forgot the best part...We are traveling with dogs and normally cannot bring them in rentals. But not at Jenn's Jeep! My whole pup crew (3) got to come on the day long adventure and John directed us to spots where they could run free. That alone - wow- made the adventure. But wait- I'm not done yet. We met back up with John at the shop in the early afternoon, switched to an even more cool Jeep with John as our driver guide and headed to the Salt Flats to have some fun! John took us all over Fins & Things and then Hell's Revenge. I even got to drive for a bit which wasn't terrifying at all since John was right there in the passenger seat calmly guiding me through the challenges and giving me the confidence to put a jeep at at 35 pitch w my mom's in the back seat! Oh- and he traversed across the Salt Flats without spilling an oz of coffee, which he held the entire time. #impressive. (We left the dogs in the RV for this part of the adventure). If you skip Jenn's Jeep in Moab, you are doing yourself a disservice... instead, stop by, chat with John, see that he is an awesome human who will design adventures around YOU and not just put you in a cookie cutter environment (ick). If you are trying to decide if you want to rent a Jeep or even from what business you want to rent a Jeep, this is your place. Don't look further. I can't say enough good things about our experience. From my initial message asking questions that was answered so quickly, as was every other question I asked. Their prices were very reasonable and we pulled the trigger. When we got there the next morning, Keith was there to greet us. After asking about our experience and if we had trails in mind (we did not), he promptly pulled out a trail book and suggested trails based on the amount of time we had and our experience. And then he sent us with the book to use for the day. He took his time and we did not feel like he was just trying to get us out the door. He also gave us a cooler and ice to use for the day so we could bring a picnic with us. The trails he recommended for us were perfect. Challenging enough for us without being too complicated for our experience level. We were set up in a brand new Jeep that still had the temporary tag. What a magnificent machine. When you got on the trails and put the Jeep in four wheel drive it performed superbly. It hugged the rocks so beautifully. Our day was epic. After filling up the tank and going by the car wash we returned the vehicle and spent another half hour talking to several of the family members that run the business. We did our research with all the rental availabilities in Moab and we ended up deciding on Jenn's Jeep Rentals which resulted in one of the best decisions we have ever made!! The owners were absolutely professional and down to earth!!! We came into this in full understanding of any rental company being cautious on who they rent their rigs to especially when they are renting an expensive Jeep on 38s knowing it's going to be climbing big ass rocks lol With this is mind we reassured Jenns Jeep rental we were not here to thrash or abuse their vehicles and we did just that, treated their rig like our own!!! Obviously our 4runner isn't built enough for what we wanted to do but yet we maintained our respect for someone else's vehicle by treating it like it was our own! We took our time soaking up the scenery and climbed through the approved trails at a snails pace while admiring the Jeeps amazing capability!! The owner provided an outline of trails we should do and we were happy he did because with his experience we were able to enjoy some unbelievable scenery !!! Prior to turning in their Jeep I made sure to vacuum the interior thoroughly, wash the undercarriage as well as exterior and even hand waxed the outside to show our appreciation of their vehicle! Everyone working at Jenn's jeep rentals had an awesome sense of humor, were extremely genuine and we couldn't have asked for a better experience!!! These people eat,breathe and sleep off-roading and if they tell you something, listen because their experience trumps what you "think" you might know!! Trust us when we say, Jenn's Jeep Rentals is the number 1 place to go and you will not regret it!!! Please also keep in mind to respect their vehicles they are allowing you to rent !!!! Take your time on the trails, don't bounce the rig or go on a prohibited trails! (they do have trackers in the rigs!). Rules are set for a reason and they are the ones having to fix anything returned damaged which also prevents that rig from being able to be rented out to others!!! Also go online and learn when the lockers are needed! Majority of the trails in the "elevated Jeep rental" can be done with open diffs!!! Learn how to properly choose lines and approach angles! Absolutely Fantastic! We rented a Jeep Rubicon for two days to explore Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. As a Jeep owner & being into rock crawling, the first thing I noticed was how well their Jeeps were set-up for REAL off-roading! Ivan walked me through the best trails to take through each of the National Parks to both see the incredible sights and have an amazing off-road experience. I saw a lot of other Jeep rental places in Moab, but most appeared to just have either stock Jeeps or the bare minimum lift & tires. Jenn's is a family run business and they really know what they are doing! At one point I made a wrong turn and went 5 miles in the wrong direction on ATV trails. I called Ivan and he looked at my location on his GPS and quickly got me back on track with the shortest trail back to my route. I would rent from them again in a heartbeat! My personal rock crawling Jeep is not set up as good as Jenn's! read more

I rented a car from this establishment with the intention of eventually purchasing it from the owner. My husband and I were victims of Hurricane Milton in Florida, and due to the circumstances, we were a couple of days late on our payment. My husband contacted the dealership, but little did we know, the owner was a truly horrific person. Instead of working with us, he reported the car as stolen. As a result, I spent three days in jail, incurred $15,000 in legal fees, and am now facing a misdemeanor charge. Fortunately, I found another lawyer who is confident they can get the charges dismissed, and I plan on suing this establishment for defamation of character and wrongful arrest. The owner never even apologized. On top of that, he stole an extra $670 from me. My father had to pay even more for a hotel just so the owner could retrieve the car. Thankfully, I was able to purchase a brand-new car, which was a huge relief since the rental was a complete disaster. It constantly broke down, the stereo didn't work, and nothing in the car functioned properly. Do yourself a favor--stay far away from this place and take your business elsewhere. read more

The vehicle was more than suitable for purpose. It was 2020 Jeep Rubicon 4 door tricked out for offroad. I think there were newer trucks available but I asked for the one with the best tires and this thing was running 37" wheels! I hit some of the more difficult spots. I did part of '7 Mile Rim' (guides recommendation) and all of 'Fins and Things' and "Hells Revenge" Couple tips: Bring an extra pair of underwear - the pucker factor is real! IMO 7 Mile Rim is the best (most scenic) of the trails I ran. Hells Revenge and Fins and Things were absolute fun but were crowded by comparison. read more

We planned on driving the Jeep to Canyonlands and hitting another off-road trail but the guy recommended an off-road trail that leads you to Canyonlands which was awesome! I was picked up around 6:30 pm from the campground and the rental was for the next day. No hassle no worries at all. Price was more than reasonable. The service we received was terrific. John explained everything so well and made sure we went to correct trail. He wasn't in a hurry and was very kind. The vibe he puts out is caring, safe and frankly really cool. The Jeeps were in great shape and performed well. They even made us a pot of coffee on our way out the door. The only hiccup was that they told me to pick the Jeeps up the night before and so we kind of planned our evening around that but then when I called when we were supposed to get them they said to come back the next day. It wasn't a big deal but we had stayed in town specifically to get them and could have done something else. We understand things happen and weren't upset at all. My girlfriend and I made a late decision to rent a jeep and explore off of our feet for a day. Every place in town was fully booked, except Jenn's, which accommodated us on the morning of. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely courteous, and suggested a full itinerary. We were going to do the White Rim Trail, but his suggestions gave a full day of totally unique 4x4 trails that made a large loop so we wouldn't backtrack past sights we had already seen. He gave us a guide book with specific pages marked for 3 separate trails, and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. The price point was comparatively low compared to the local competition, the Jeep performed awesome, and the day was one of the best I have ever had. I couldn't recommend this place enough. I made a last minute decision to attend a snowboarding event at Brighton resort. The only problem was that it was my last day in Park City and I didn't have a car, I was planning to Uber everywhere. Ubering from Park City to Brighton, and having nowhere to store my luggage while snowboarding didn't sound like the best option. I was having dinner in Park City and found this company on google. Within a couple of hours, Dusty delivered a 4 wheel drive Jeep to me at the restaurant! I was able to take it to Brighton for my event, store my belongings for the day, and use it to pack up for my flight. Then Dusty met me at the airport to retrieve the vehicle when it was time for me to fly home. It was an awesome experience!!! The Jeep even have my name on the windshield LOL. This was so much better than a commercial rental company, it was convenient and personal service, without an exorbitant price. And I love supporting local businesses, and bonus- they are dog people! I called 10 days ahead to reserve two Jeeps for our family's weekend in Moab. We were confirmed (or so I thought) but when we arrived (from 1,100 miles away) we were informed only one Jeep had been reserved. They had another one but it was wrecked. "We can still rent you the one," they said. We had 8 people. It was two or none. They offered nothing more than a "sorry". They didn't offer to make it right. Well, they did and it was "we are all booked this weekend but we do have one Jeep available tomorrow." For 8 people? That wasn't a way to make it right. You get what you pay for. A paper calendar with no confirmation numbers or emails and a massive dose of disappointment. Rent somewhere else. read more

Take careful videos of the car before starting your drive. Otherwise if a different worker relooks at your car upon your return they "find new small scratches" and charge you extra money for the rental. If you don't mime spending an extra $270 dollars for this, then the car itself was a lot of fun. However, paying almost double the advertised cost, and when asked about it the workers claim that "this is just how it works and it actually happens a lot" sounds like a common scam compared to an isolated occurrence. read more

What a pleasant surprise. John was fabulous. He gave us suggestions ion where to go with explicit details. Also provided us with a guide book that clearly showed all trails in the area. His jeeps were great. Like new, very comfortable, and equipped well so we had no issues whatsoever. Full disclosure: I have never rented a Jeep from Jenn's Jeeps. This review is more about the character of their owners and the kind of people they are. Today, myself and my 12 year old son "may" have over extended ourselves and tried to do the Whole Enchilada (or most of the enchilada). We got lost (my fault) and back tracked to the original correct route - but that added 10+ miles to our journey. When we finished biking, we were at Slickrock Trail and were spent - but still had 6+ miles to go to our hotel. I've never done this, but stuck my thumb out and the first car to pull over is John. John was out test driving his brand new Jeep Wrangler with 39" tires and pulled aside - asked what we needed. Honestly we had two bikes and two people and it was too much to ask - so I asked if he could drop me in town so I could get my truck. He said jump in - and took me back to my motel. To say we were dead tired and "spent" was an understatement. He didn't have to stop, didn't have to care - but he did. I took him out of his way a couple of miles - be he was awesome.
