I couldn't be any more grateful & appreciative for Branch Manager, Tim & the rest of the amazing crew at the Moab Enterprise. We are finishing up our tour of the Mighty 5 Utah National Parks. We were just pulling in to Arches National Park when our truck began making some VERY bad noises! We called the Ford Dealership who said they'd look at it, but weren't sure when they'd be able to fix it. I look up car rental and saw this Enterprise was only a mile away from Ford. We had them drop us off. Tim said he really only had one car available, as a luxury train was pulling in & though the lot appeared full, all were spoken for & would be gone within the hour. He did have a van available, but going price on that is over $100/day. Tim was very empathetic to our situation and gave us the "body shop rate" of $40.99/day. Later in the day, we thought the truck was done (expensive brake job), so I returned it same day. My hubby picked me up & we started along our way, but we could hear the sound of a brake still dragging! Both places were closing at 5! Jon dropped me back off to enterprise at 4:59!!! Despite having to go to her second job, the lovely girl at the counter was going to help me get the van back. Fortunately & thankfully, two of her coworkers returned which freed her up to leave. I was grateful to be able to visit Arches National Park in this comfortable vehicle while our truck was inspected. The people here were most helpful. My truck had broke down and I was in dire need of a truck to tow my RV back to Indiana. By policy they do not do one way rentals because their fleet is limited and it isn't often they can get a replacement. However, due to my situation, the manager allowed me to do a one way rental in order to get my RV back home, knowing that he would lose a truck within his fleet. I can't thank them enough because I know it put them out in order to help me. They went above and beyond in my opinion. Seriously bad management, Shane the local manager broke consumer rights. I have traveled all over the world and this will be the very first bad review of any vehicle rental company. Which is saying a lot. My family rented a 4 wheel drive truck in August of 2019 through insurance due to a car wreck in Moab while on vacation. We live in New Mexico. When our insurance was over we negotiated to continue a longer rental on a month to month basis at a discounted insurance rate. From October through December we paid over the phone with a credit card. On New Years Eve, I received a voicemail from Casey, the regional manager from Utah stating that they had been trying to reach me and if my vehicle didn't get turned in by the end of the day that I would be turned in for auto theft. I immediately called Casey back and left a voicemail and then tried calling several times and left another two messages over the next two days. Being off for Christmas, the busiest time of year, I went through my emails to find an email amongst all the spam dated on December 16th stating that the vehicle was being recalled and that it needed to be turned in and a VM on the 22nd. When calling Shane since Casey wasn't responding, Shane stated that they had been trying to get the vehicle since October and that we had no contract to have the vehicle. I never received any voicemail or email in this regards. Only a recall request in December. In fact we called in to make payments every month and never once did anybody from their office alert us of any issues. Shane stated that they stop charging our card on December 16th when he sent the email. If I had no contract why were they taking our over the phone verbal CC payments. This makes absolutely no sense. He threatened again today, during a snow storm for me to have the vehicle back by end of day. I live in the remote country and the only rental in town is enterprise. Because Shane was alledging that this was a stolen vehicle my local office was initially declining my request for a rental vehicle. After a ton of unnecessary hassle I was able to prove to my local Enterprise that I was a responsible renter by showing them all of the communications between me and Shane. They agreed that I was paying a discounted rate that had been legitimately charged on a monthly basis and that a unexpected holiday interruption of a recall wasn't auto theft. I have lost time, my whole work day as a small at home business trying to clear up Shane's mess and had to interrupt my child's homeschool as well. BE WARNED!!!!!! Very disappointed with this location. Was told they open at 8am (and everything advertises their hours as 8am-5pm) but when I called at 8:30am for a pick-up I was told no one would be in the office until 10 am, even though I was told the night before they could. We are on vacation and on a limited time frame and having to wait 2 hours to get the car I reserved 3 months ago is very irritating. Don't advertise your hours of availability as 8am-5pm if you don't REALLY start until 10! To top everything off we reserved an SUV to accommodate 6 people and got a Dodge Ram pick-up that was lifted so high we had to spend $25 on a step stool so our one passenger that had a leg injury could get into the vehicle. David, the agent that picked us up, was rude, unfriendly and drove us back to there location at a high rate of speed, tailgating and turned the radio up so loud we couldn't talk. Will not use this location or recommend Enterprise in Moab to anyone! Use Canyonlands Jeep and Car Rental instead!! There number is 435-259-4413!! read more

We rented a car to drive from Moab to Salt Lake City on short notice. There are two Enterprise locations. While the Moab airport location has weird hours (open only a few hours of the day), we called and Shane was super helpful. He arranged for us to pick up the car at the airport early, met us there, and upgraded us. Check in back at SLC airport was easy. read more

The customer service at this specific location was rather disappointing. The service was inconsistent and in the end did not assist in a time where we needed a vehicle. This is a company that is solely used to help people in need and I do not feel that this was the case during my visit. I do not believe that the service today matched the mission of Enterprise. Leaving me stranded on a holiday weekend wasn't my idea of a vacation. They are running this business like a mom and pop shop and tarnishing the big corporate reputation of Enterprise brand. We ended up being stranded, temporarily, in Moab due to truck issues (wouldn't start). Throughout the day we called Kim to discuss rental car pricing and availability. At one point, we thought my gal was going to have to drive the rental car to Phoenix (1-way) because of uncertainty with the truck fix. Kim was so great in getting us an SUV for a great price, one-way. She was so accommodating as the situation changed. I am so impressed! I just had the best experience with this company! We rented a Rogue from Vegas that had a slow leak in a tire from the beginning. After dealing with it for several days we stopped into this business telling them our issue and asked for an exchange and in less than 20 minutes we had another Rogue and were on our way. On 09/30/20 I landed in Moab for work. I rent a car for work 14 days out of every month for the past year from enterprise, Moab Utah. For the first time for whatever reason my rental reservation didn't go through, so when my plane landed in Moab there was no staff at the enterprise office. My phone calls were going to voicemail and that was full, so I could not leave a message. I texted the manager (very professional/courteous) and later called him on his cell phone. I was very apologetic about the confusion and incase it was all my fault that the reservation hadn't come through. To cut a long story short! I'll give you a short version of what transpired. This is how I was treated when I got to their downtown Moab location, by an Enterprise staff member by the name of Kim. Kim appeared very angry and said she was too busy taking care of business. She maintained that they were sold out of cars until 10/05/20. She scolded me like I was a child for calling Shane (manager) on his cell phone. She told me never to call Shane again. She accused me of going above her by calling Shane. She continued to humiliate me non stop. She threatened not to rent me a car because I didn't live in Moab and did not have local references. Stating that those were the rules at the downtown location. After a long time she cleared me for a car because Shane the manager said it was okay because I had a return ticket. She did not walk around the vehicle with me to check for damage. I open the door and was shocked at how dirty it was! The sign that assures a customer that the vehicle has gone through a thorough COVID-19 cleaning was not hanging on the rear view mirror. I went back inside and said the car did not look like it had been cleaned. She stated that she did not have any clean cars. I asked if I could at-least have some cleaning supplies to do it myself and she handed me 2 small sheets of antibacterial wipes and her and the other staff member closed shop! By this time I was bound to be late for work. She basically traumatized me. Yes, I'm a nurse; a mother; platinum enterprise member. They are the only enterprise car rental In Moab! read more

I have rented tons of cars over the years and I have NEVER seen a business run this badly. 4 people sat outside the supposedly open Enterprise location for FOUR HOURS waiting on the person to return. We called the phone number incessantly, no answer. We called the national number and was told the regional manager would call us back, never happened. Finally, I left to go to the airport to see if there were any Enterprise employees there. I found an open office with the employee in the airport lounge talking to all her girlfriends. I asked her why didn't she answer the phone all day and only got a stupid look in return. I WASTED all day in Moab because this 'employee' refused to answer the phone at the airport. They also had no extra cars for rent (which would have also saved me 4 hours of waiting,) So, after driving 3.5 hrs to Moab, waiting 4 hours to talk to someone, I get to drive another 3.5 hrs home. Kim B. was extremely helpful and very friendly in the midst of being very busy due to the cancelled flight. Ashley Simms at Moab Enterprise Car Rental in Moab UT is the best!!! We arrived in Moab a day earlier than we had our reservation even during a busy time for and she was able to get us a car. She even stayed past the closing time by half an hour to accommodate us . She even drove to our campsite and picked me up and drove me to the airport to get the car. And when I came back to the campsite and the family didn't like the car she arranged to have another one available for us the next morning and drove it to our campsite. She really went above and beyond to meet our needs. Ashley is very customer focused. And she even gave us some great dining recommendations for Moab.
