Went in a little while ago to the South Main St. Best Cleaners to pick up a pair of pants left for alterations and promised on Friday. I made the mistake of paying for them when I put my clothes in for storage. The pants I paid for aren't there!! I asked for a refund, and was told that the counter staff aren't authorized to do that. This was a credit card charge, not a cash payment. Needless to say, I'm very unhappy with your service. Holding money paid for the receipt of goods not actually delivered is unethical and, I believe, illegal.

My wife and I grew up in Connecticut so when we saw that Middletown had a Best Cleaners location, we both recognized the name and figured it would be a safe bet for doing the job. We dropped three items off on Wednesday morning and picked them up Thursday afternoon. The employees I dealt with were friendly enough and they did the job that needed to be done. My suit and my wife's dress looked good, but I did find it a little weird that it costs more money to get this task done in Middletown, CT then it does in Los Angeles. It costs about $48 to get both items ironed out, which caught me off guard, but whatever, the job needed to get done. Overall, Best Cleaners did the job we needed them to due, even if we definitely paid more then we were expecting. I have no real issues with the experience, but since I don't live in the area I doubt I'll be returning anytime soon.
