I have taken many of pants to be hemmed or taken up and have always been very pleased with her work.

Took a new pair of pants to be hemmed and they were hemmed to short. Took them back with price tags still in tack along either receipt from the seamstress and she denied hemming the pants. Would not own up to her work. I'll never go back again. Do not recommend. read more

Went into business to ask a question. Thr lady sitting at the sewing machine was rude. I don't even know if she understood what I was trying to ask her. She brushed me off and continue to talk on her cell phone. Barely acknowledge that I was even standing there . Will not pay for this type of treatment. You're supposed to be a business. read more

THE WORST. ABSOLUTE WORST!! Do not ever go to Jenny's Alterations for any alteration work that you may need done. I dropped off a pair of pants to be hemmed on a Monday, and was told to be back that following Friday by 4:30pm. I came early that day, and once again at the designated time and she was not there either time. I called the number on the door and on Google and both were ineffective. These pants were part of a uniform I needed that weekend, & as a result of her lack of communication, I had to buy another pair of pants. Once I was able to actually pick up my pants, I explained to her that I needed a refund AND/OR a discount for having to replace the pants that she held without any warning. Her response to me was "no" that she "had to go pick up her daughter" and that "she was there at 4:30pm." That was FAKE NEWS because I was definitely there at that time. I understand emergencies happen, but she has paying customers who expect more than a note on the door. That is horrible business and she will never receive another dollar from me again. If you want professional I suggest you look elsewhere!!!! read more

I went to get several pairs if pants altered. I already knew my inseam and asked her to alter to 27". When I took them home and tried them on they were too long. So I measured them and they were approximately 28.5". A simple mistake. So, I took them back to ask her to fix it. She argued with me that they were in fact 27", and even after I got out the measuring tape to show her, she readjusted the pants so they were bunched up in places to fit 27". That's not how you measure an inseam!!! Finally, she agreed to take them up another inch (never admitting that they were 28.5"), and tried to charge me a second time!! I insisted it was her mistake, and she would not charge me. She never would admit that she made a mistake, and the fact that she wanted to charge me a second time is shameful. I will never return to her, and recommend if you want it done correctly the first time, you don't go to her either. read more

My only regret is not going here sooner! I had some things that needed to be taken in (lost about 15 lbs. Great for so many reasons, but boy does it hit your wardrobe hard). The worst of the bunch was this pair of tan work pants. I mean I had people at work asking me "have you lost weight?" and I'd be so flattered...until I took a good hard look in the mirror and say how baggy and dumpy they looked on me! I'd been wearing these pants that looked terrible on me for months! Well I just tried them on. They look amazing! Jenny literally stitched these pants down a whole size and they look 1000% better and way more flattering. That cost about $25 (which trust me, is a lot cheaper than getting a whole new pair at a nice store) Pricetag for everything (1 skirt, 1 pair of jeans, 1 dress, 1 pair or pants) =$73 Very happy with the work. read more

After visiting several other alteration shops in town who could not offer overnight completion of my job (new zipper in a pair of pants), I was not optomistic when I walked in to Jenny's. But, she seemed very interested in doing business with me and promised me that my pants would be ready by 3PM the next day. They were done, on time, ok price. Jenny gets my recommendation! read more

I drove by this place for years now and finally needed something altered! She hemmed my graduation dress and it's perfect, can't even tell that work was done from the original it's that flawlessly done. I will definitely go back for any further alterations I need. Quick turnaround (about two weeks for me, other reviews have said one week) but she seemed slammed with prom and graduation season so that was completely reasonable and great work! I paid up front and she doesn't take cards- cash only so be ready, but the timing and quality of work and the price was well worth it. (For reference I paid $35 for my dress to be hemmed, flawless work, and the dress has some pleating that might have been difficult I'm not sure how that all works but I was not unhappy with the price). I took a dress here and was not happy with the service at all. It's located in a small house with no AC and the woman has her children running around in there. I left my dress there because I didn't have much time to get it done and didn't know where else to go. The woman's English was poor and she argued with me over what I wanted done with my dress. I got the dress back and it wasn't what I wanted but better than it was before. read more

The customer service is very poor. The individual who answered my phone call was incredibly rude to me. I asked two questions. One of them was to ensure I had the correct number because the individual did not identify the business when answering the phone. After my second question the individual hung up. When I tried to call again they informed not to call again and that I should look elsewhere for business. I don't know what I did to bring about that type of reaction but it came as a surprise to me. This type of behavior is not acceptable for a business and it not a good reflection on them as a whole in my eyes. read more
