I've only had one other experience with soft wax, as most of my other Brazilian wax sessions have been with hard wax, and I've had no problem with the soft wax. Her studio is located in the Garden Walk shopping strip in downtown Chico. The wax room itself is cozy and nicely decorated, and she provides wipes for before and a hot towel for after the session. She also sells items in front, but I haven't looked into what they are. Contrary to what the Yelp description says, Carrie had 20ish years of waxing experience--so you'll be in very good hands if you make an appointment with her!

Campus cutters is very reasonably priced and I LOVED how Maralee doesn't pressure you into scheduling your next appointment. I recently decided to color my hair again and went with the ombre look. I was a little nervous about the style because ombre can look really bad if not done correctly. Maralee did an amazing job! I also got a Brazilian wax from Maralee, she did great work. Graduation weekend I wanted to get my hair done but I had to be at the field early. I think I had to be there at 8. Rachel met me at the salon at 7AM. On a Saturday. I showed her a picture from pinterest of how I wanted my hair done. She put her own twist on it and did an AMAZING job. I made sure to tip her big for being there so early on a Saturday with me.
