I've been going to EWC for my Brazilians for a few months. I tried out this location and I thought my waxer was nice. (Mack?) I think it was the method that she did, left the wax on for longer? And maybe ripped the strips too slow? I don't know it was just more painful than usual. Aside from that I wanted everything off and I noticed a lot was still left. She was super nice when I asked for more off but I got home and still a lot was left. Just wish I got what I paid for. read more

I think it's extremely inappropriate for a franchise business to not honor their posted hours. I came an hour before closing and the doors were locked with no one there. There wasn't a note but on the door it's posted that you guys are open. I understand if there wasn't time for a walk-in wax but at least have someone there to make appointments. read more

They don't even deserve a one star. That was my only choice! I have been waiting for my refund since the Redding location closed. I have multiple wax passes that have not been used and have been paid for. I am not driving an hour for services. I have talk to management. I have talked to corporate and I get the runaround Do not use their services. Poor business practices. read more

I absolutely love EWC! First of all they have amazing packages that come with free waxes depending on how many you get, which you have months to pay off. I swear it feels like they last forever! Second, you get points which equals money off your services, just scheduling your next wax or referring a friend you get points. Third, they use wax that doesn't require paper, which is a whole lot less pain! Plus my skin doesn't get irritated and breakout. As for my amazing waxer, I cannot give her enough praise. It's nice to have someone care so much! Any waxer I've had wax my eyebrows just cleaned them up and said how great the arch was, but looking back my eyebrows were so ridiculously thin it kind of makes me cringe! As soon as Taylor started waxing my eyebrows she wanted me to grow them out. I have never been this happy with them! I'm going to include pictures of my eyebrows before and after, bare and filled in to show you how amazing they look now thanks to Taylor. Had an appointment for my first Brazilian and was super nervous/excited and it was not at all what I expected. Check in was fine but the wax itself was not good. Was told my hair isn't wanting to come out and was having trouble (which i understood) but after asking if she would still be able to she said yes, I just got home and still have patchy hair down there and am now sitting here tweezing the rest. They cancel your appointments without telling you, call you to confirm the night before, but when you show up act like YOU are the one whose fault it is. First Brazilian waxing experience. I did some research so I would have an idea of what to expect and how to prepare. They said they wouldn't have time for my legs because they were pretty busy and it was late, so I opted to just schedule the Brazilian when I called. The location is clean, orderly, and the rooms have a medical feel to them. I arrived early, got in promptly, and my esthetician got right to it. Considering it was my first time I anticipated they wouldn't be able to get all the hair (small hairs here and there) because I'm not on a regular schedule for getting waxed in time with my hair growth cycle. I was surprised though that I still had patches of longer hair, that hadn't been removed at all, when I had a chance to inspect the results. A bit disappointing because now I'll have to go get it waxed again or I'll have to shave it...which is what I was trying to avoid. This is the main reason I'm giving them 3 stars. The other reason I gave a lower rating was that it seemed rushed and that atmosphere made me anxious. My esthetician seemed to be pressed for time, she kept looking at the clock, so maybe that was part of problem for why the job was incomplete. Looking at the clock when I got out it was about a 15-20min appointment. If you're looking to get in and out quickly and get on with your day this place may be up your ally. The front staff and esthetician were very professional. However, I'm not sure if they were just rushed at the end of the day/overbooked or if they try to turn folks over quickly, but it was hard to relax when they so seemed crunched for time. I have a fairly high tolerance for pain, but the waxing didn't seem too painful at least in comparison to what I had expected. The ladies there said their Ingrown Hair Serum would be helpful to prevent and reduce bumps. I'm not one to take pushed product typically, but I figured I would give it a try. Between the cost of it and the generous 50% off the first visit it came about to the same price the appointment itself normally would have been. They offered several pricing packages for repeat and unlimited visits as well as installments for cetain packages. Overall I think that this is a good waxing center, but it may not be the right fit for me personally. That said, I wouldn't dissuade someone from going here either. The aspects of my experience I disliked I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt on. Edit: Ingrown Hair Serum did nothing to help. Save your money. read more

To start off I went in twice, and both times I was beyond shocked. My first visit I forgot my drivers licenses in my other car, and the MANGER made it clear I needed it on me in order to get a wax. I tried showing her a photo on my phone of it, but she said it must be on me. This was completely reasonable except for the fact she was so damn rude the WHOLE time.. My second visit my boyfriend was the one who wanted an eyebrow wax. Our appointment was at 6:45 and we didn't get in till 7:20!! They kept apologizing, and saying it will be 3 minutes. The girl who was giving the waxes even came out TWICE while working on a client to tell us it will be a few more minutes. Once she came out my boyfriend and I were heading to the back room when she told me "You can't come back, unless your a little baby" Not only did we wait 35 minutes with rude service , but the she missed 2 long hairs and according to my boyfriend she twisted half of them instead of waxing.. read more

Another great experience at European Wax Center! I booked my appointment online workout any drama. I had visited other sites in other cities and Chico did not disappoint. The front desk staff was warm and friendly. My waxing technician Natalie was fabulous. She was focused and efficient. I appreciated when Natalie communicated to me what she was going to do before she did it. My brows have never looked better! Unlike other European Wax Centers there was no pressure to buy skin products or waxing packages. I was given free samples to try and I was on my way. I will definitely be back. read more

I get a brazilian wax here about every 4 weeks and i've never had one bad experience. Everyone is super friendly and talkative. Everything is very clean and nice looking. They are all great at their job and make it as comfortable as possible. They are also very informative whenever i've had questions. Their skin products that they sell are also very nice. They have good deals if you are a regular and the pricing is pretty reasonable even if you are not. I highly recommend coming here! read more

I went to buy my wife a gift certificate and they offered me a free nose hair removal! Chloe was very friendly and I though it would be painful, but it was much less pain than plucking my nose hair like I had before. Wife went in today and they also offered her a free wax! This wax center has the nicest staff. They really make you feel welcome and just at ease And always work with your time, and move you around if needed. I just called to reschedule a hour before my appointment I was at the hospital with my 3 year old until 3 am so I'm still tired. They girls are so nice asking if she is okay and hope she feels better. They really are amazing and make something that could be a uncomfortable thing.. not! I would highly recommend this place.
