The rudest conversation with a receptionist:…read more "Hi, I was referred to Dr. Radentz for Pemphigus, I heard he specialized in treatment for it. I also have *insurance name* and wanted to double check you guys accepted them." Receptionist: "Ummm...no...I don't know. That's not my job I answer phones." I asked, "Okay, could you ask someone who might know? I just need to make sure before I make an appointment." "No the doctors are their lunch break. Bye." "Wait, could you take my number and have someone call me back?" "No, that's not my job. I don't take numbers. I answer phones. Bye." Click. Seriously?! How does this doctor even get patients with such rude staff? I don't know if she's new or something but I had to go to a different doctor. Ridiculous.

Look, I have very fair skin being Irish on both sides. I'm 83 years old and I retired from the Air…read moreForce when I was 43. So many of my assignments took me to areas in the world where the sun was blistering hot: 2 and half years in Viet Nam, 3 years in Japan, and perhaps toughest of all on my skin was 11 years in Albuquerque, which has an altitude of 5200 feet. Even before I left the service, I had surgery on my arm for basal cell carcinoma. I had many visits with civilian dermatologists and VA doctors who specialized in skin cancer. Without question, Dr. William Radentz proved to me to be the best M.D., specialist that has treated me in this most critical area. I have been under his care for the last 15 years and considering that my health insurance - - Tricare for Life - - permits me to be treated at any medical facility or doctor in the U.S., I feel I am totally satisfied with Dr. Radentz's services. When I retired from the Air Force, I was under care at the VA Medical Center, Loma Linda and later by a "skin doctor" in Menifee. My skin problems on my neck and chest were only getting worse. And just by chance, and wanting a third opinion, I had Dr. Radentz give me a very thorough exam. On the back of my neck and on my chest he took specimens and examined them at his office (Moh's surgery). I have no doubt without Dr. Radentz expertise in diagnosing and treating me, there would have been serious consequences. The professionalism I have seen in my many visits to his office will keep me going to that office as long as Dr. Radentz continues to practice there. Not only is he a fine M.D. but he and his wife are fine human beings: they know how to relate to their patients.

My young teen daughter had her first appointment with Dr. Jacobs to address her acne. Where do I…read morebegin? Perhaps the part where he, for no reason at all, told my daughter to wait to have sex until marriage mid-appointment. What about the part where he told her to stay away from boys and to be careful because the boys are going to be "lined up like puppies looking for their female". We were there for acne. Not to be preached to about things he has zero business even bringing up at a DERMATOLOGY appointment to MY child. He recommended a medication for her and when I asked what side effects she'd experience, he answered, "She will be beautiful." Twice I asked about side effects. Twice I got the same answer. At the beginning of the appointment he wasted time commenting on how young I look and called me my daughter's sister more than once. More than twice. Gloves! Gloves were not worn whatsoever. He touched the doorknob, his phone, and my daughter's face. All gloveless. Also at the beginning of the appointment, he shared with my daughter and I that he had just come from a room where he removed a cancerous area from a woman's arm. "She was crying and throwing up. She should've been thankful that I saved her life from cancer." He's dancing on the edge of HIPPA regulations. The cherry on top of this already inappropriate cake, was that he wrapped up the appointment by sitting in the chair right next to me, and proceeded to fill out a bloodwork form. Not done yet. He put his hand on my shoulder, left it there and gave me a little shake. Was I the patient? No. Did I ask to be touched? No. Was it ok to do that? Absolutely not. Zero reason at all for his hand to have been near or on me. It was very obvious that his two employees who were in the room with us were embarrassed. As they should be. That behavior is wild, unprofessional and we will not be returning. This review is 100% true and accurate. Hey, Randy. Keep your hands to yourself and save the unsolicited sex advice.
