I went to do an interpretation assignment and after a hiccup regarding dates confusion, we were able to get the visit that same day and not have to go again. Front desk lady was very sweet and handle pretty well the dates misunderstanding and was able to accommodate. I'm writing this review with intentions to update the review when I see a doctor here for follow up care. Some months back I had a biopsy done here by what I believe was a PA, male. I forgot his name. had one area on my cheek and one area on my chest that deserved to be further diagnosed as it appeared to me like it could have been suspicious. The area on my cheek was a black mole which I had a biopsy done about 6 years ago , clean, with 2 incisions and no scar. The results were that it deserved to be monitored as it may have been precursor to a later skin cancer. The one on my chests was red and sometimes appeared scaly and felt itchy, further exasperated from sun exposure. When I met this PA and his male assistant and from the get go, I informed them I was a multiple trauma survivor and some of that trauma was done to my face that has since healed. I told them how important it was for them to understand this and that if it required any type of biopsy or procedure to be very mindful and careful as it has taken my face a long time to heal, as well as my mental and emotional, so I was fairly anxious about any procedures. I ended up being scheduled for a biopsy on both areas. I brought up my concern about scarring, etc again and told them I had anxiety and a fear of needles but I would do my best to be brave! The chest was fairly simple; the face felt like it was a quick and easy procedure with him saying , " I think I got it all..." I remember stopping at the front desk because he had put a small round Band-Aid on my face. I asked the girl if there were any sutures and she said no. I said ok, have a great day. Fast forward and 2.5-3 weeks later and there I was, still experiencing oozing coming from the biopsied area on the face. It was also extremely tender and in pain for quite a while. What I discovered was that there was a gash taken out of my face that was well deserving of a couple of sutures, and was oozing and reluctant to dry out because of the depth of what he took out. I called once or twice and I was reassured that everything was fine and that the area would develop cells and would heal over what I was seeing as a larger pock or gash on the face, and to just give it time. I then got a call from the assistant to schedule the follow up and their intention to burn or freeze both areas because the results were precancerous cells. I was very reluctant to do this, for one because there was no black whatsoever left on my my shin- nothing but a hole- and that place where he did, the biopsy on my cheek was still so sore and tender, and even months later! I was ill for one appointment because I have RA and other autoimmune disorders. They rescheduled me and I ended up canceling and letting them know for the second or third time my experience and what happened and how my face looked. Not one person that I spoke to over the course of all of this validated my concern or showed one bit of compassion or empathy. I told them I wanted to see a female dermatologist, as my primary doctor recommended a second opinion by a female dermatologist in that office after seeing my face and being a little bit alarmed over the situation. I tried to schedule the appointment and they had something available for 2 1/2 months up the road. I was frustrated because I didn't feel I was being heard, had an awful situation where in addition to all of my doctors and specialists, was now paying for facials and red light therapy and collagen strips to alleviate the look of the hole on my face. So I just said "let's just forget everything" and they just said ok. No one bothered to call me and see what was happening either. I was super frustrated because I felt like they could care less. I called back today, August 15, 2025 and they do not have any appointments to offer me until December but the schedule is not made. I will follow up with another review after I am seen. I wish I could go somewhere else but this is what my insurance offers. I am very reluctant to have more procedures applied to my face as there is nothing there but a hole, brought on by a failure to suture, especially on the face and even more so because of what I vulnerably told them about a point in my life when I was victimized. I am very happy to be going to Pacific Dermatology Murrieta. The office and medical staff are all professional, very kind and friendly. I've been seeing Carmen Huerta and she is awesome!! Carmen explains everything she'll be doing and is so helpful with my followup questions! She gives me a regimen to follow, so I understand what to do. I am so very happy she is treating me. This practice has so many patients that you have to wait more than two months for a follow up appointment or a first appointment. It's unethical. They cannot provide service to their patients. I had a good experience with the PA I saw yesterday. She was kind and experienced. However, prescribed medications got sent to one of their other doctors rather than to my pharmacy, so I had to call back to right this issue. Too busy to do things right? If I were to give five stars it would be for Carmen PA and Dr. K. They're fantastic doctors and show great care for their patients. Bonus point they have outstanding patient relationships and show compassion. 4+ years! Office staff are horrid! I never get the call for my routine follow up and they never have the schedule available to help you. NOTE: I have a uncurable skin condition that brings much discomfort, can lead to sepsis and hospitalizations. This morning, I was told by the office manager of Marietta Patty. I was a selfish patient for request an actual appointment and not a double book. I am still waiting to hear back from Carla, the regional manager regarding her unethical comments to me as a long-term patient with Pacific dermatology Institute. I cannot believe how she spoke to me and then proceeded to hang up when I asked to be transferred to her supervisor! I corrected her after she spent three minutes or more communicating her opinion of me, after requesting to not always double book but to make an appointment with my providers after being double booked for 8+ months and needing to discuss multiple skin issues which is heavily documented in my long-term patient file. Patty is unethical, unprofessional and an insolent unconscionable speaker who lacks in ethics and IHPAA standards. I'm still baffled that she so proudly spoke to me that way and had no idea I am medical myself and got very quiet once I let her know! So where does this leave a vulnerable population of standard patients quality of care I asked when you so proudly speak to any patient this way? Short staffed, is the reply I got. She left me to feel as if my patient confidentiality had been made a mockery of, and I was an inconvenience to my providers. Now my final point to be made here when making this review is that it is NOT the doctors. It's the office manager Patty. When an office manager is willing to disrespectfully talk to patients the way she did, they are only setting the tone for the rest of the Office staff and showing an example of unethical behavior, it's agents quality patient standards the way she spoke to me today and I would really like response from the office as soon as possible. I called the Murrieta office and schedule an appointment , they confirmed it was in Temecula, I get to Temecula, they tell me I'm actually supposed to be in Murrieta. I go all the way back to Murrieta and they tell me I'm supposed to be in freaking HEMET. I came in for a consultation with Jon Igo and walked out having had the best medical appointment of my life. When do you ever go in for a consultation and have all of your problems fixed in less than 10 minutes? I had two unsightly cysts on my scalp that had bothered me for 20 YEARS! I had one birthmark on my arm that would catch on stuff and bleed. I had another strange birthmark elsewhere on my body that was unsightly and I wanted it removed. Jon Igo heard my concerns and said "we can take care of all that right now". And in less than ten (probably five) minutes, he removed all these growths that had bothered me for DECADES! I called to make an appt as new patient and it took 45 mins on hold until someone live answered. Once this female (I forgot her name) answered, she was extremely rude with her tone of voice and attitude. I should be the one getting upset for waiting such a long time but I wasn't. I was very polite. I gave her all the info to make appt but she said she didn't receive any ppwk from my primary care doctor (PCP) so she told me to call my PCP and I did and called her back and she still said she didn't receive any thing again. And on 3rd time, she got angry that I called to check if she had received the ppwk and said she would call me once she received the paperwork. Now it's 1.5 months later and I have not received call from their office. I spent a whole day back and forth with their disrespectful staff. The Dr.'s are great but the scheduling is very bad!!!!!!! I am personally suppose to see a Demotologist twice a year because I have had melanoma twice to see if any pre cancerous spot develop! They do not make appointment 6 month in advance but will call to schedule. NEVER happens so I was due for an appointment in august and I hadn't heard from them and I called in July to make an appointment and was told they were booked and had to wait for the December schedule for the next available time!!!!!!!!!!! I said why have you not called me!!!!!!! their reply was I'm sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been going their for about 8 years and the last4 or5 they have not called me for an appointment. So this year I guess I will only be seen once!!!!!!!!!!! Icalled my health care and they gave me another DR. I could see but had to get a referral from my primary. doesn't help for this year I guess. I have been going to Pacific Dermatology for a few months now. My experience with them has been nothing but great. My first appointment went by very quickly. I was able to fill out all of my documents online, luckily the receptionists are kind enough to walk you through everything step by step, I believe her name was Leslie or Lizzie. She was amazing help. She had so much patience in guiding me through it all and explaining their availability. She was even kind enough to schedule my upcoming appointments and she also helped my husband schedule an appointment while I was waiting to be called in. On my first appointment I was seen by Felipe. He is one the many physicians this location has. He was great. He paid attention to every concern I had. He made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Even his helper Micheala did a wonderful job in greeting me and answering any questions I had. I definitely scheduled my follow up appointment with him as well. Overall, if you are in search of a dermatology clinic this is the place to go. They have an amazing team, you can definitely tell it is an excellent work environment. read more

The staff here is PHENOMENAL! The women that staff this office (and the guys) are awesome. I've had 4 biopsies and 3 skin cancers removed (Dr Sako is the surgeon I saw, their surgeons rotate, but I was lucky to get him) and I undergo UVB therapy for my skin. I couldn't ask for better care by the people that work here - ESPECIALLY Leslie C., Marina M, and Natalie. There have been changes to the staff - Priscilla and PA Jonathan Igo to name 2 that were favorites. It appears that the office had been visited more by the corporate "efficiency experts" who are apparently causing the typical changes that usually run off good staff, increasing their work loads and decreasing their job satisfaction. No one mentioned this, but I worked in big companies all my life and know the signs. These experts showed up (in my opinion) and somehow got everything regimented - I noticed they hung "index cards" with the lists of inventories on them, tagged everything, hired a bunch of new folks, and basically they have removed the family type feel and personal comfort feeling of the office. Don't get me wrong, the people there (see above but all of them really) are sweet, compassionate, and efficient I just had to mention what is see is a problem waiting to happen - more good staff leaving. I hope not. I won't go anywhere else I've had such good experiences, and I just hope the "experts" don't change too much else. read more

I saw Dr K. at Murrieta Aug 14th to have a biopsy of a knot on my shoulder. Her and her assistant were great. The office staff made a follow up appointment for me for Oct. 16th at 4 before I left the office because she was booked till then. Today, Aug 20th, I got a call with results that it was skin cancer. I didn't want to wait to mid October to have it cut out so called to see if I could get squeezed in earlier. The gal said I see you have Oct 16th at 4 and all I can do sooner than that is if you want to go out of the immediate area and see someone in the Riverside or Corona offices. I had her sign me up for Corona for Friday Aug 23. After I hung up, I called back to make sure they keep me scheduled for the October appointment as I wanted Dr K to check other areas on my body. This second gal insisted there was never an October appointment. I said yes, Oct 16th at 4. It was there just minutes ago. She would not believe me. She said no, no one even cancelled an appointment for you for Oct 16th or I'd see that. You were "never" scheduled for that date. She refused to believe me even though the first gal had confirmed that date and time I was on the schedule. I finally asked to just make me a new appointment for Oct if she wasn't seeing the one I had. She said she couldn't. After trying several minutes to get her to help me, I gave up. I think this company has very serious problems with its office staff. I'm so frustrated!!! read more

I was diagnosed with Hidradenitis Suppurativa about two years ago. The automatically wanted me to go on Humira injections. I went to Dr Shiva Kheradmand, DO a Pacific Dermatology in Murrieta for a second opinion. She was able to put me on spironolactone, a wash and ointment. This has helped my life so much, my life is 90% better. I definitely would recommend her for any needs. read more

I do not recommend at all. They tried to tell me my 10 month old daughter had eczema that turned into a staph infection putting her on steroids & antibiotics & eczema cream. I called back stating it got worse into her eyes and spreading and they couldn't get me in tell the next year and to keep doing what I was doing.... and at this point I was angry as she is miserable and ONLY 10 months. Went back to her dr and they sent us to a different dermatologist because they were super concerned about her face and it spreading. Found out my daughter does not have eczema and everything they were having me put on her was making it worse. We finally got our answers else where and she is slowly healing now. Upon arrival I was politely greeted by front office. My wait time wasn't long at all, I've been here more than a handful of times and their time management is always great. I saw Carmen Huerta and was extremely impressed by her bedside manner, she was thorough, answered all of my questions and educated me on my future regimen with my prescriptions. I have had alopecia areata since high school and have been treated numerous times with steroid injections, Carmen had angelic hands cause I didn't feel pain! Her care was phenomenal, I highly recommend coming here, they have a patient for life, I will be referring all of my friends and family to come see Carmen Huerta. This is place is so unprofessional!! They cancel my appointment the day before after 3 months of waiting for no reason at all. Even if I specifically said that I was a cash patient they said they could not take me because my insured provider changed. The secretary was extremely rude and while I was talking to her she said "I have to close the call now" When I book the appointment they told me it would cost $85 but when they called me to cancel the day before they told me that that price wasn't right and they would not give me the new price... I arrived at my appointment after waiting 3 months. The front office didn't speak they were talking to each other. She forgot to open the window to talk to me. She said I owed a copay which I paid on line. I was called to the back and told to go to room 4, I opened the door on a patient that was half dressed, I then waited to see the Dr. For 45 min. She came in I explained my issues, she removed some tags from my skin and got to my neck and tried to remove one without Anastesia. It hurts so bad she put the scissors down and proceeded to numb the area. This was a horrible first visit. I have a 6 week return appointment but feel I need to find another dermatologist. They have always been wonderfully courteous, and the doctor not only went out of his way to help me with all my issues but he made sure I felt the least pain possible. So gentle and kind. It took several months to get an appointment. They set me up with Dr. Kheradmand. Earlier in the year, I had a softball sized tumor removed from my left frontal cortex. The radiation treatments had taken my hair and it was not growing back. I asked Dr. Kheradmand for possibly a cream or medication that could promote hair growth. She stated that she could do nothing until I was in remission. I explained the nature of my tumor is not one that any doctor will classify as "in remission". She said "then you should count yourself lucky". I had another patient with this and they are paralyzed after the surgery. All was said as if she was balancing her checkbook. read more

The doctors are great and I would give give them 5 stars but the office staff is unresponsive. I recommend never bothering to leave a voicemail as I have never gotten a call back when I have. If you do call be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes to an hour on hold and remember not to call less than 30 minutes before lunch or closing because no one will pick up the phone. If you have an appointment expect to wait about an hour after your scheduled time to actually see a doctor who you will probably only see for 10 minutes. They double book every appointment so you are guaranteed to wait. My daughter's skin condition required a specialty medication and authorization by insurance. The pharmacy would fax the office for prior authorization only for it to be ignored for weeks by the office staff until I called and then it would get approved that day. During this approval process I spoke to the front office manager and she had said she would call the pharmacy then call me back. I never got a call back so I called the office and she explained that she called after hours and how they are short staffed and that my daughter isn't their only patient. While I understand that she isn't their only patient they should be professional and follow up as promised, not make excuses. I understand they might be short staffed but in the year my daughter has been going here it hasn't been any different so I don't think that is the problem. read more

I have never written a negative review. Having worked in a very busy surgeon's office I know well how hectic it can be. Sadly my experience was awful. The scheduling procedure is absolutely abhorrent. Unable to reschedule a follow up visit per order of the MD. Was advised to call back in 6 months!!! Also waited 45min waiting for MD to enter room.Unlike other patients' comments I did not find Dr.K to be a plus. Felt she was rushed. New patient visit. Waited around 2 months for appointment. Told to come 45 minutes early to fill out 1 form! Once seen NP blew us off and prescribed topicals for a callus. Told to go back to Dr who sent referral for an X-ray if issue become painful, even though Dr said xray was useless for a large bump on ankle bone! read more

The doctor was great but the front desk staff specifically the young one with glasses puts people on hold for 15 minute wait time and even when I was in the office waiting I saw her put someone on hold so she could keep talking to her co worker. And overall who wants to be greated by frowns and bad attitudes when they walk into an office. Im used to this behavior now by our youth but only in maybe fast food or restaurants but to see doctors offices having staff that does not respect their place of employment Its unfortunate. read more

The only reason I'm leaving a bad review is because of Patty the office manager, she is absolutely horrid and disrespectful. I called a few months ago due to a cyst that I had and needed looked at immediately and since I am a patient that has HS dr. k or Carmen usually have no problem seeing me or my mom due to our skin condition, the way this woman will dehumanize you and show zero compassion is cut throat I tried to call and give a bad review about her and guess what to my surprise she was the manager of that office. I refused to speak to her, my mom also experienced something with her today, question patty, why work at a dermatologist office if you have zero compassion for your patients? Today, I went to the Murrieta branch of Pacific Dermatology for an appointment for a skin cancer exam and also to check a cyst on my face that might be acne related. I told this to the medical assistant who was doing the intake, and she told me that Carmen (who was going to examine me) was not feeling well today and would not be able to examine me for acne, only skin cancer and other related issues. She told me that I would have to make a separate appointment to be examined for acne/ the cyst. What?? I don't understand how Carmen could look at my skin for one thing but not for the other. This is a racket to get you to make two appointments. I waited 4 weeks for this appointment. They should have texted me that she wasn't feeling well and that I would'nt be receiving full service. They can text you incessantly for you to, confirm your appointment, but they can't text you that you won't get full service from their "not feeling well" PA ??? And, who wants to be examined by somebody who isn't feeling well??? And why is she even at work if she's not feeling well??? This is a medical facility! I couldn't get any information out of this intake person other than her repeating like a robot "she's not feeling well, she's not feeling well". I walked out. This whole event was unprofessional, inconsiderate and downright dumb. Don't waste your time and gas money on this place. read more
