I would leave a "0" If I could. I had prongs that needed to be repaired. My ring is a black onyx set on a black hills gold band. They couldn't do the repair in house they sent my ring off to some other place.I thought they were supposed to be jewelers. The ring came back and I never seen it. But they told me it wasn't up to their standard. Then it came back a second time and it was the same situation So off it went again. Then a 3rd time my ring came back and the stone was loose so they sent it back again. By this time, my husband got involved he was mad because it was taking too many times to repair this simple request to fix the prongs . So I called the store and told them don't to anymore work on it I'll be in to pick it up. I was sick with the flu and couldn't leave my house for a week. I finally see it and it was a big fat mess. They had taken all the antiquing off and buffed up the gold so deep that there wasn't any color left on it. No green leaves no faint pink tone nothing . It was bla.The assistant manager tried her best to fix it twice more but it's still a messed up ring and very sentimental to me. and they had the gal to want$300. For the mess they did. My ring will be redone at my original jeweler. Please BEWARE to NOT let them ever send your precious ring off for repair. You'll be sorry you ever did. very poor customer service and general knowledge about stones, metal and design. The manager was very condescending. I have been a customer of this establishment for years and have several pieces of fine expensive jewelry purchased here, but after 2 recent experiences where I was treated with such a lack of professionalism, I will be finding another jeweler, and I will never recommend Jensen Jewelers to anyone I like. Years back, this place was THE establishment for personalized, professional customer service. I wish I had better things to say, but this company is infuriating. My stone broke after a few months, and after nearly 6 weeks of waiting after sending it in, the repair hasn't even begun. Their billing department, specifically Sheryl, tells us numerous conflicting things over the phone, unable to give clear answers to questions. The insurance charges are more than double the monthly ring charges to pay it off, at least in our case, and it took numerous phone calls with billing to get a clear answer on this. Different employees at the store give me different answers each time I call. The communication is poor and the customer service is poor as well. I really would recommend going anywhere else. read more

Came here to alter and clean a pendant to fit a chain. Stephen went above and beyond my request. I wish I would've taken a before picture because it was so dirty beforehand. Afterwards, it was just sparkling. Mosiah and Garret showed me around the store while Stephen was working and we just talked about snowboarding and some of their products. I wanted white gold and they gave me Rodium plated white gold which has to get redipped 3 times a year or it turns gold, which will be very pricey when my warranty expires on my ring. very disappointed. never buying from them again. read more

The guys here are very friendly. More than a year ago I was ring shopping, checking the main stores in rexburg (main street diamonds, alpine jewelry etc.) and this was by far the best. They weren't pressuring me to buy as if desperate, yet they were willing to bargain to a decent price, even offering a student discount. They were awesome! Great and simple, yet beautiful rings. I have since then returned and they have polished our rings (not just hers, but mine spindle with another CTR ring). I would recommend them to anyone read more

My husband and I went in to buy me a new ring to celebrate our eleven year anniversary. Before deciding on Jensen Jewelers we shopped around town, in Idaho Falls, and in Texas where we previously lived. The customer service was great the first time we went in, our salesman Andrew was patient with the two of us as we decided on the perfect diamond, and setting. When our ring was first given to us it didn't fit after two weeks of waiting for it, so we had to send it back in for resizing. The salesman who helped my husband wrote the size down wrong but assured me that he called the goldsmith to inform them of the correct size...when it was returned to us the second time it was the wrong size again. So our options were to send it to their goldsmith again and wait a week, or go to the store they have in Idaho Falls. We've waited weeks for our perfect ring, so we decided to make the 35 minute drive to Idaho Falls to have it resized again. After closer inspection of the ring I notice that it's misshapen where it was cut down a size and it's lost it's shine, not only that though but at the top where the diamond sits it was also misshapen. I took it in yesterday to show them and the sales woman was helpful but at the same time was making excuses. In example, she decided to tell me what happens to the band when it's resized...like I didn't know, but I had already explained that I felt it was off because it had been stretched too much and then cut down. Also, she told me that white gold is pliable, which I understand but was her explanation for it being misshapen at the top near where the diamond sits. My previous ring is white gold, I've worn it everyday for 10 years and it is still in the shape it was when I bought it. She also told me no jewelry is perfect. Okay, awesome but we spent a lot of money on this ring so it should be perfect or pretty darn close. I didn't want them resizing my ring again down to the correct size because I knew there was a possibility of things going wrong but I would have eventually lost it if I hadn't. I had the same experience as someone else who wrote a review. I went in and the guy who helped me knew near to nothing about diamond and tried to tell me anything to get me to buy. He was bragging about how he sold a 0.9 carat diamond color H to this couple for $900(I did my research prior and knew that was a stretch). After talking to him for a few minutes I said "great I am on board to purchase from here now let me have a .9 carat diamond that you sold earlier for the same price." He started mumbling about how the other couple got huge discountsand cut off the conversation and it ended up the diamond was really about $1,800-$2,000 and he just blatantly lied. Then we tried to go over what price it would be (at this point I was fed up but wanted to know the quote anyways). And he said that $3,200 dollars was the total price (with the setting included), but he forgot to mention that he wasn't including the $500 dollar down payment we discussed I would pay, so really it was $3,700 dollars. Also don't believe the 50% off BS it is the same price as everywhere else. Associates do not care about anything but closing the sale and they can't even do that without fumbling it up and lying. read more

Went there with my fiance to buy her wedding ring and they told her that what she wanted would only last a year or two and then upsold her like nobodies business. Then when the wedding was broken off and I tried to return the ring they told me I couldn't because it was a custom order. Apparently putting a diamond in an empty setting makes for a custom order. As well, they say that they offer a 50% student discount but it didn't show anywhere on the invoice. As well they made it sound like the diamond that I got was a natural diamond, but when I got the certificate of authenticity, it was for a lab-grown diamond which is worth significantly less. The customer service was good, but afterward I felt like I had been played majorly. read more

Jensen Jewelers is the "summer sales" team of the jewelry business. They will do or say anything to talk you into buying an over priced ring from them. They will offer you a "student discount" of 50% off but if you have done your research you will see that even with the discount their rings are more expensive. They will try to tell you what you want rather than letting you take control, and on top of it all these guys have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to jewelry. There are much better options out there, even in Rexburg. read more

I received the worst service here. The people don't even know what they are doing! They broke my ring when I took it in to get fixed...the diamond was set in crooked in the first place! It took two weeks to get it fixed. The managers were rude and tried to cover up that they broke the ring. All of these issues happened AFTER all of the issues with BUYING the ring. I finally got my finance's ring today, two months to the day after I had it ordered. They originally told me "2-4 weeks but probably closer to 2 weeks." Over 8 weeks later, I got it. They said that they didn't know that their manufacturer was going to close down for two weeks for the Chinese new year, even though that happens once a year. Even then, it should have been here long ago. The manager made up excuses and didn't seem competent when he was confronted. They wouldn't allow me to cancel the order and get a refund. The only thing they gave me was a "loaner" ring so I could actually propose. They also gave me a free men's ring, which should come standard if you go to another place. They tell students that they get 50% off the price of the ring. Well, if you go to their website, the price of the rings are already 50% off. They will tell you that it is their promotional price. Over 8 weeks later, the prices haven't changed on the website. So if you are not a student, you better tell them to give you the website price. They run a terrible business. I do not recommend going here if you are planning on getting engaged quickly. You will have to wait forever to get the ring. I will say that the ring is very nice and we are very pleased with it. read more
