I've been frequenting this coffee shop for a few months and I'm happy every time. I usually order a latte and each time it's great, it's creamy, and their espresso is so smooth and flavorful. I'm picky with my espresso, but this place knows what they're doing. Every once in a while I get a biscotti to go along with my latte, I believe they are made in house, but I'm not so sure. Right now, they have a smoothie menu for the summer, I've tried the strawberry piña colada and it's so refreshing, especially when the mornings are really hot. I use to get the same barista each morning, she's so kind and friendly. Now it's different girls but they're all so kind and in a good mood. Love it! read more

Mixed reviews about Jeremiah Joe Coffee. The interior is terrific. Lots of room but could use a few more tables. It wasn't crowded when I visited but I could see the place packed with no where to sit. The tables up front along the windows are a wonderful place to sit and work like I am doing but the concrete tables although cool are tough and uncomfortable to work on especially if you want to use a mouse & computer. Staff were very friendly and helpful. As far as my order the drink was definitely under brewed and could clearly tell just from the smell before even tasting it. The rice crispy I had I am willing to bet was made ages ago. It was so hard and you could clearly tell it was long past fresh. I took 1 bite and tossed it. Would I return? If just for a drink and to work probably. Think I would be willing to give it another try but wouldn't go out of my way to return just for it. read more

A great place to chill with a beverage and do some work on the laptop. The free wifi is very good here. Spacious business inside the old Famous Department Store building. I get a bit nostalgic when I see the old maroon and white specked Famous floor at the entrance. I loved that store. I like this space at Jeremiah Joe's as it is quiet and plenty of comfortable seats. I have only been here twice and it is winter so there is no outdoor seating of course, the indoor seating is very comfy. I have encountered very friendly staff who are helpful with making suggestions for beverages. I had a very nice plain ol' iced tea today, they also have a green iced tea with coconut flavor which I did not choose as it sounded a bit strange for my liking. The iced tea was very refreshing and approximately $3.50 or so for a large. Great location in the heart of downtown, lots of free parking in front and side streets. read more

They have a huge space you can get lost in a nice conversation w people and won't feel others will eavesdrop. You can sit and drink coffee and buy coffee beans dipped in chocolate while you read a good book. The people and community are friendly and the Main Street it's on is cute and has the nice small town feel. They have a free bathroom here and next door is a church. And outside they have a pantry area where you can leave things for people who might need something extra. What a nice thing to do when somebody is in need. read more

If you're a matcha enthusiast like me get the iced matcha latte with elderflower syrup! Apparently the syrup is not permanently in the menu but it's definitely a temporary great addition. The staff told me they usually add honey but I prefer my matcha to be more bold and less sweet. The elderflower is a nice touch and it's a fun flavor. I also tried the thumbprint raspberry cookies and it was pretty standard as far as taste. Not too sweet and a fruity filling. The inside of the cafe was pretty large so this could be a nice study spot as there's also outdoor seating and it wasn't loud. read more

This is a really nice place with seating available outside on nice summer days and some seating inside, the employees are always nice and give good suggestions on what we might like but we usually get the Jeremiah Joe Mocha it's really good and just under $5 read more

We did a little day trip to Ottawa from the Chicago suburbs and this was one of our first stops. I love coffee shops, and this one was particularly adorable. The staff was very nice, Covid-19 protocol and signage was clear, the bathrooms were clean, and I loved the displays of local artwork for sale around the location. They also had cute Ottawa merch for sale :) I had their specialty of the day, an iced white chocolate lavender latte and it was delicious. Great place to stop for coffee and fresh pastry. We stumbled on this place during a long road trip. We always look for locally owned businesses, but unfortunately there are often few great choices. This was definitely an exception. They have a full selection of coffee drinks and the barista was very friendly. I've been stopping here everytime I'm in Ottawa. It's been the only place I've been able to sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee, tea amd a book. They have always been nice, even when busy. They normally, but not always, keep the music at a balanced level compared to the people chatting or studying. The lobby is shared with other businesses but always seems available. They have outdoor seating in the shade or dry which is nice. So far this is my number one place to read and relax to a coffee or tea. They have another place by the canal but I have not been there yet. read more

So, free street parking everywhere so first impression was great! Inside this giant coffee shop you will find friendly baristas, coffee bar, lots of small tables and a couch with some chairs. Service was awesome, biscotti was great! And prices were decent. There is a stage up front and my friend said they have live music. So I will be honest, I am a Starbucks snob, no question. However I love supporting local coffee places when I can. While driving through Ottawa on the way back from Starved Rock we stopped here and I am so glad we did! It was high quality coffee but with small town prices. Oh my gosh I'm still sick to my stomach. I think about this in my skin just crawls. I ordered a spicy sweet chai latte with skim milk. I get down to one of my last drinks and there's something in my mouth. It was a hard salty booger. Oh my gosh. I couldn't get them on the phone because there's no good service out here but I sent them an email and I stopped back in. I had to ask three times for them to throw out those bottles of product and the skim milk. He called his manager. I did ask for a refund but I think that should have been one of the first things he would have said is hold on let's get these things out of the circulation. Skip this place! They don't know coffee. I ordered an iced latte with an extra shot, they had it done immediately, how? They poured the 'shots' out of a ready made carafe. The coffee is not fresh, and I paid for shots of espresso, not weak, pre-made watered down coffee. I'm offended that they think This is acceptable for a coffee shop to pass off pre-made espresso. This place is just WRONG. It's jus not good. And the line was SO long. Very disappointed. read more

I'm pretty disappointed. I had really enjoyed this establishment and their coffee before. I ordered my favorite drink from the Ottawa drive thru and did not receive a drink that looked or tasted like what my normal order does. First, I couldn't find any contact number so I reached out to their email and explained my situation. Their response was that the employee said they made the drink right, totally disregarding my complaint. I doubt that the barista would remember making my drink out of all the drinks they made that day AND I know this drink, I order it often. The drink I received was nothing like what I normally get. I responded back this sentiment and they haven't responded to me since then. I just can't support a company that has no standard of quality. read more

I found this place last week whilst in Ottawa for work. Very cool, nice space. Clean. Bright. Open. Nice outdoor seating in front along Ottawa's main drag. Their roast is very good. I had a nitro which uses an espresso roast. I bought a bag of African beans medium roast. The coffee is top notch and the chocolate peanut butter chip muffin I had was very moist and tasty. This is my new must go to coffee house to start the day, and again for late(r) morning break. The servers were very friendly and helpful too. read more

This place got me started on coffee. I have fond memories of getting blended JJ mochas here when I was probably too young for caffeine. I'm glad they're still open and expanding their business. The employees are usually very nice and engaging. There is 1 in particular who is the bee's knees- just a very sweet person. Employees interact with the public well. The last 3 times I have had coffee here it just was not what it used to be. I had it fixed once, had more syrup added another time. The 3rd time I just gave up and stopping going. They have an AMAZING iced dirty chai! I bought 4 custom drinks and it was cheaper than 2 custom drinks at Starbucks. They were super sweet and quick too! Would definitely recommend! Also there's a review that says they use premade espresso shots. They do that so if you order an iced coffee it doesn't get watered down by the hot espresso melting the ice! Ordered cold cafe latte, they put brewed coffee from a dispenser, added ice and milk. I was already doubtful but tried it first. Just a vague hint of coffee. Went with two friends and we each bought a drink. One of my friends didn't like the flavor of her pumpkin spice latte at all and asked politely if they would exchange it for something else. I consider it common coffee shop courtesy to do this, given she'd spent $5 on her drink. They said no but offered to dump her drink out and refill it with regular coffee, but she'd have to pay for the coffee. Come on, people. Do you want us to come back or not? The (locked) WiFi was called "Jeremiah Club." Sorry, but you shouldn't have to join a club or email list or whatever to get access to the WiFi.
