The best haircuts around! That's the first 4 words that come to mind when I think about this place. I have only been going to Russel for a few months now but his fades are so on point I come back every 2 weeks or so. The place is fairly low key, no bells and whistles as it should be with Sports Center on or something similar. Just what you think a barbershop should be. I would say I hit the jackpot finding these guys. If your in need of a new barber or want to change it up a bit go by. They take walk-in's in the morning first thing and then its by appointment. cares too much about their 2 spaces of parking, even when both spaces are empty(likely due to bad haircuts, idk), they will become territorial over it If you use one of the empty spaces for 2 minutes. the owner(not sure?) has a napoleon complex, started talking about disrespect(I've never met the guy before in my life, nor would I care enough to disrespect him). Just a bad representation of a business, to start accosting someone outside their work when there's no customers to accommodate. The quality of the place is questionable, considering the person I spoke to enjoyed saying "fuck you" and "get the fuck out of here", to me within 30 seconds of talking(I was trying to be nice as this person started accosting me about disrespect for some perceived slight), if there's an issue with parking, as is common in urban environments, the solution is to call a tow truck, which wouldn't of gotten there in time, but from the reaction of the man who got unreasonably upset of me leaving and coming back within about a minute and a half(no joke, it was that short of time, he was still standing there at his door when I got back after I walked away), 911 in his case considering how desperately he needs the 2 empty spaces for his shop. Mind you, the entire time, while the owner was accosting me was longer than the time I left and came back, nobody showed up to partake in their haircuts, nobody used the other space that was fully available, and nobody would put that much degree of care into how empty parking spaces are used, besides the man who gets no business despite having "paid for" them. I think he was just upset his parking spaces he leases from the city are used more for the businesses around him than his own, and as a barber he's forced to watch it happen constantly as those around his grow while he's in the red. Favorite barber shop ever! They are friendly once you get to know them and always cut my hair right. I get a high and tight fade cut almost like I did in the military. I miss those days when you could go in and the ladies would cut your hair super fast. Jeremy is not that fast of course, but being able to setup an appointment and get in/out without waiting in line is just as great. read more

I went on Yelp to locate a new barber since I'm new to Mckinney. This place had a decent rating and it didn't charge an arm and a leg like everyone else does. The spot is pretty lowkey, simple and no bells. I don't need bells, I need my taper to look tight, that's what I need. I set an appointment with Russell since he's the one who picked up the phone when I inquired about getting my haircut. I meant to schedule it with Maria since other Yelpers had referenced her. So I showed Russell what I wanted and he did a good job (relieved). I'm also relieved that I can rely on either barbers to get it right. let me first say that JEREMY'S IS THE BOMB! I've only been once but the feel in the barber shop and the way they treated my son he being 5 can read people and after we left he was like daddy that man was very nice and gave us some good haircuts. The fact that my son liked the barber Oscar was good enough for me. And the fact that being a Marine he gave me an inspection ready haircut that impressed me. I hadn't let anyone cut my hair for the last 16 yrs but I decided to go out of my comfort zone and glad I did. Cause I found my new barber for my son and I. Love this place and will be back for sure. If I get a crappy haircut I don't go back. When I go back, I'll keep going back until something changes and I get another crappy haircut. Went to Jeremy's three times now since my last barber moved out of town. Excellent haircuts each time, twice with Jeremy and once with Maria. I prefer Jeremy. Good old school barbershop. After my stylist went AWOL I was on the hunt for a local barber shop or stylist preferably in a small local business. I struck GOLD with Jeremy's! Jeremy's is a small barbershop a block off of the McKinney Square and is a true gem. A real throwback to the days when your barber engaged you in conversation and the music wasn't deafening. The shop is small having 3 or maybe 4 chairs. There is an ample waiting area and a TV to watch while you are waiting or being served. The cuts available are plentiful from traditional to fades to other styles. I'm sort of 'boring' and do traditional. I did notice that the cuts were all dry meaning there was no shampoo or sinks/bowls. This was fine with me but some wanting this experience might want to check with Jeremy to see if this is available? They do have spray water bottles to wet the hair before/during cut which is good. My cut was great - unrushed and delivered with care and conversation. He switched from electric trimmers to scissors and back for the desired effect. The shop takes credit cards via Square which is perfect for me as I don't typically carry cash. The cuts are very reasonable and is great to support local business. I'll definitely be a regular at Jeremy's!! read more

They honestly give the best haircuts. My husband and son (3yrs) go here when we can get in, they're worth waiting for. Also my toddler hates haircuts and Jeremy is super patient and kind with him but at the same time gets the haircut done. Son has super fine white hair and every other place leaves long hairs all over his head, but Jeremy is methodical about making sure there's no mess left behind. read more

Jeremy's Barbershop is a classic. Really laid back and Dallas Mavs/Cowboys friendly. My kind of place. I drive all the way from uptown Dallas to get a haircut here from Maria. She has cut my hair a hand full of times now and has nailed everyone one of them on the head, so to speak. Perfect fades, perfect undercuts and disconnects and or blends. Ive noticed the barbers here arent about speed, which is more than OK with me... these other barbers-in-a-box locations want to get you in and out and rush the job which makes me nervous. These guys take the time to make sure they cut your hair the way you want it. I mean they really take their time. Like it's an art. Which should be the attitude of any barber. They don't just rush you in and out of the chair so they can get through a line of customers. Extremely high quality for an incredibly fair price, and great guys. Had seen this barbershop around for a while now but never got around to checking them out. Finally got a chance to today since I was in the area for business and my regular barber had to cancel. Good barbers are very hard to find. Good barbers with a good business sense are even harder to find. What shop closes at 4p on an effing Friday!?!? Asked for Maria who apparently was the best, she looked and said they usually don't take walk-ins ( considering sign outside said walk-ins welcomed I was shocked ) she was just finishing up and I would be next. Walk-ins not welcome!! I was the first walk-in of the day. Two barbers each finishing up a customer and each had an appointment waiting. Waited more than an hour. One barber had a new appointment walk-in. The other finally finished his appointment, then told me he was going to lunch and would cut my hair after he had his burger. Horrible customer service! I've taken my son to several places before once I thought he was too old for his dad's basic home crewcut. I thought how hard could it be to cut and style his hair. But maybe his hair curls or waves in the wrong places and I was never happy with how it turned out. Then I found Jeremy's. We got Russell the first time and I just vaguely told him what I wanted for my son's hair. It took longer than expected (because I was used to the rush jobs at other places) but very well worth it. Russell cut his hair perfect! My son has 3 cowlicks on the top of his head which always made the hair a mess there but Russell has managed and tamed it. Another thing I didn't like with other places is when my son's hair grew out, it looked even worse. Russell's cut looks great from the first day to last even when my son's hair has grown longer than I like. We love Russell and have recommended him to others. The place is clean and in a perfect location. The other barbers are very friendly and they seem to be happy doing their thing. I wish other businesses had their attitude. I would recommend getting an appointment as they are busy every time I've been in. read more

Jeremy, Russell, and Taylor are great! This is our second time in and both occasions I've been very impressed. Jeremy does it right. He cares about his people, cares about his community, and cares about his customers. All three barbers take their time and are focused on quality. They take both walk ins and appointments, but keep in mind that if you walk in on Saturday, you're probably going to wait. Not kid friendly. I went into Jeremy's with my 7 year old son to get him a haircut. Neither Jeremy, Russell nor Maria refrained from bad language. $h!t and @ss are examples used more than once. Very uncomfortable telling my son to pay no attention to that type language. I about lost it when I heard an "N" bomb dropped, which could've been a customer, but thank god my son didn't hear it.
