We had some issues with 2 tours that we booked through Ride the Wave and Jim was fast to respond and assist. One of the tours we ended up having to cancel due to scheduling issues. I reached out to Jim to let him know and he worked on getting the refund process started right away and I received a confirmation email from the tour vendor the same day. We're now just waiting for it to get credited back to our card. The peace of mind of our trip being taken care of by professionals is invaluable. I can't recommend enough going through a travel agency for big trips because you just never know what could happen. Ride the Wave is as good as they come and I'm looking forward to using their services again for our next big trip!

I had such a great experience booking my trip to Mexico. We were planning a girls trip and being so far away I was too nervous to book without being there so I used a travel agency for the first time and I will definitely use them again. Yesterday I went on a Sedona/Jerome/Minghus tour. I use the term tour lightly. It was simply a…read moreride to those places. Renting a vehicle could have saved me alot of money. Here is a list of problems I experienced. SAFETY: The vehicle had no side view mirrors. The driver did not know the route and, while driving, spent much time looking at her cell phone for direction. Her eyes were not on the road at all times. Many times the driver found herself driving on the side of the road, over gravel...and lane markers. The driver took a personal phone call, and did not answer the call hands free. We could hear her clearly handling an unrelated business issue. Driver drank alcohol while in Jerome. Not much, but still, I found this inappropriate. On Mingus, driver drove 40-45 around some curves. Most traffic signs posted a 20 mph speed limit. A person on the tour made it clear that she was diabetic. The driver told her to bring a protein bar with her next time, refusing to stop so she could have something to eat. THE TOUR: I use that term very loosely. We were given no information on the places we visited. The driver, can't call her a tour guide, simply took votes and went with majority rules. There was no cohesiveness. The driver, for instance, made no suggestion of good places to eat, nor did she keep the group together. Any person new to Sedona did not really see Sedona. This writer was not new to Sedona. Tourists were told beforehand that they could avail themselves of taking a tour there with a Sedona tour company, but driver left no time for this. I have been on tours with this company before and most likely I will go again. They use different drivers. If they are smart they will keep their vehicles up to code and let go of this driver, friend or not. STAY SAFE!

We drove to the meeting location in a plaza where we were greeted and encouraged to use the restroom as the trip would be about 2 hours long. - we were able to get one jeep for a family of 4. -for children in car seats, they will require you to bring your own car seat to install onto the jeep. -you will drive about 30 mins to the Sonoran desert. -cruise and then photo opportunities once you get to the top. That takes about 45 mins and you'll be able to get out of the jeep to take pictures. Water is also provided as a courtesy. The kids had a great time.

It seems any sort of discount is for winter months in states that have winters. I've also looked at cruises, hotels, car rentals and nothing beats my own research and finding something cheaper. I don't trust this company anymore. I call today to cancel our membership and we were told it's a lifetime membership. We would've NEVER signed if we knew it was lifetime. Right there...fraudulent advertising. We will get out of this someway/somehow. Like others we were SCAMMED into something that comes with many lies & promises. This is indeed our worst investment EVER. We want to cut our loses and run.

If I could give them negative stars for this review I definitely would. They don't even deserve 1-star.
