The 3 breweries we went to were a great mix of large to small, all with different vibes and types of beer which was great. The three stops were Phoenix Ale Brewery, Wren House, and The Shop. The main point holding me back from a better rating is the transportation. The van was TIGHT for seating 14 (and we only had 13), I mean we were practically on top of each other, and the AC was not working in 100 degree PHX heat. Everyone was uncomfortable. Phoenix Ale Brewery was the largest facility and had a great variety of beer, but heads up no AC. They also gave us pint glasses which everyone was excited about. Wren House was so cozy we instantly felt at home and started playing jenga at the table. This was the best presentation of beer as everyone got a 4-beer flight. Our best stop on the tour was at The Shop (formerly Cartel Brewery) because a brewery employee came in the back with us and really gave us some personal insight to the company and the process. She was so personable, and everyone appreciated the hospitality they offered us at this stop.

When we were done and looking through the store he would help talk through the different flavors and types of oils they carry/make. The food is delicious I had a canoli and a bite of pizza and I'd absolutely go back to try other things. They have a full bar. They were very busy as it was the last day for the sangria social and the day before Mother's Day but the outdoor seating is pretty vast and the musician was wonderul to listen to. I would highly recommend for a day date, time with friends or just a fun activity!

A fun spot to visit! They offer a tour and a fun store that you can get olive oil, spreads, chocolate bars and tangential products. You can sample the olive oil but there's nothing to dip it in so you'd just be ingesting pure oil; it would have been nice to have a pretzel or bread to dip! I would have wanted everything to be made there but for example the pastas and pasta sauces weren't. And they sell other products from elsewhere. If I'm making a trip here, I'd want to buy things that are primarily made here. They also have several dining options (not sure how they're all related). I was pleased with the food we ordered: huge artichoke calzone (soft dough and good filling) for $22 and fish and chips (excellent fries), as well as a bakery that sells cupcakes, scones, cakes, cookies, brownies as well as gelato. We liked the cookies and scone though the latter didn't have the usual consistency of a scone). It was interesting that their Italian cookies were actually slightly cheaper purchased at the counter vs the already packaged box. They also sell cerreta individually wrapped candies. They have indoor and outdoor seating if you want to eat there. Employees were very friendly. I'm sure it is a more pleasurable experience going when there aren't a lot of crowds, as it is a tourist spot and has overflow parking.

We booked an Ice cream and Gelato tour around Old Town and the Waterfront and were picked up within 15 minutes by "Captain Kirk". He is a very warm and personable guide. He was well versed in the area including buildings/archetecture, public art, history of the area, restaurants and entertainment venues. We had three stops on the tour for 1) Ice cream, 2) gelato and 3) sorbet. All were excellent. We certainly had our fill of sweet treats, all included in the price of the tour. We would certainly recommend this company for one of their many various tours, based on this experience. It was a weekday in January so just be aware that you may need to make more advanced reservations than we did. Thank you Monica and Kirk.

We bopped around Old Town Scottsdale, being given historical information about the town/city and various landmarks. It was extremely interesting and a nice mellow way to start the tour. We then went up towards the Phoenician resort and toured the ritzy neighborhoods to see the beautiful homes - that is definitely an spect of the tour I don't think we'd get anywhere else! There were options to stop for photos, beverages etc. I would note to be prepared for the breeze as you ride on the golf cart and be aware you'll likely be on a couple busy roads with actual cars so ensure your belongings are secure. It was an absolutely fantastic time and I can confidently say I'd love to do another tour with any out-of-town guests who visit me!

The young woman giving the tour was apathetic at best during the tour. She also completely skipped the elevator ride, saying it was too crowded. Then the mystery shacks tour guide seemed like he was doing us a favor by even being there. Sorry, did we disturb your day here guy? We ate in the restaurant. Food was ok, expensive, but ok. Service was good. Don't appreciate the political bumper stickers on the wall but whatever. Lastly it was two days before Christmas and nary a decoration to be found.
