The 3 breweries we went to were a great mix of large to small, all with different vibes and types of beer which was great. The three stops were Phoenix Ale Brewery, Wren House, and The Shop. The main point holding me back from a better rating is the transportation. The van was TIGHT for seating 14 (and we only had 13), I mean we were practically on top of each other, and the AC was not working in 100 degree PHX heat. Everyone was uncomfortable. Phoenix Ale Brewery was the largest facility and had a great variety of beer, but heads up no AC. They also gave us pint glasses which everyone was excited about. Wren House was so cozy we instantly felt at home and started playing jenga at the table. This was the best presentation of beer as everyone got a 4-beer flight. Our best stop on the tour was at The Shop (formerly Cartel Brewery) because a brewery employee came in the back with us and really gave us some personal insight to the company and the process. She was so personable, and everyone appreciated the hospitality they offered us at this stop.

The Phoenix breweries were on par with the rest. Really awesome to know! - would definitely go again next time I'm in Phoenix!

On this visit, we had the Melabella, Charred Mozzarella & Pesto, and Classic bruschetta, along with the White Mountain Pizza, Olive Farmer's Caesar Salad, and their special Meatball Sandwich. I usually stick with my favorites--the Drunken Tomato & Pepperoni pizza or Olive Farmer's Rigatoni Bolognese--but decided to branch out. Everything was delicious! You can tell they use quality ingredients, including flour imported from Italy, and it really makes a difference. Honestly, it's hard to go wrong here. Special shoutout to Wendy, the manager, who is always so friendly and helpful. The entire staff is welcoming and makes every visit enjoyable. Great food, great ingredients, and great people. At this point, I should probably just set up a permanent table! P.S. Don't forget the gelato! It's THAT good.

Apart from the EVOO, we enjoy the garlic and vanilla bean flavors a lot, but they offer so many other varieties. One thing I love is they provide recipe cards with suggestions on how to use their olive oils, vinegars etc. to make awesome dishes. That's how we first discovered the incredible vanilla bean olive oil waffle recipe. Another great service they provide is the ability to sample most everything. The store features other local products like jams, honey, granola etc. They have the OliveSpa line of body care products also. So many great items to shop for! Many years ago we took the tour and learned all about how the olive oil is made. And you cannot forget the Del Piero Kitchen where you can come dine for breakfast, lunch, dinner or brunch. Oftentimes on weekends they have festivals or live music on the patio. It's just a happening place - definitely worth checking out.

There is plenty to see and do and it's just got an amazing vibe to it. It's worth checking out for more history and exploration of Arizona and of course the gold mine. There is so much to see at the museum as well and the staff are extremely friendly. They have so much to offer and prove more of the interesting history of the mine. As well as make sure you are having a fun time exploring this fascinating ghost town. It is more than just an attraction, its like an experience worth checking out. I also like the museum the town has. Even though you have to pay between $5-$10 depending if you're an adult or a kid, it is still fun to check it out. And learn more of the legend of the mine that many have spent decades looking for. There is also a zip line near here too but because of the intense heat I did not think to give it a try the day I went here. In the end, this is a solid place to check out and go to. There is so much to see, amazing vibes, fantastic customer service, and overall just a fun place to check out.

The town was located really close to the Lost Dutchman State Park. All of the shops had air conditioning which was nice. The cowboy hat shop was really cool. Saw some of the hats were $79. They have a saloon called the Mammoth worth checking out. They had a lot of cute attractions, such as gold panning, mine tour, zip lining, and railroad riding. Bought a pound of copper from the museum for $50. Apparently everything in the museum was tax free. Looked like they charge $1.50 for credit card, which was not mentioned nor were there obvious signs about the credit card usage fee. Admission to the cost $10 for 13 and up, $8 for 65 and up, $5 for 8 to 12, and free for those under 8. Really fun town to spend an hour or two. Lots of things to do for all ages. All the staff were friendly. Town was clean. Would return.
