Here's a nice detailed review for the HVAC hunter: This was a 5 month ordeal that these folks fixed in a matter of days: We got a new heat pump through our warranty company back in Sept 2014. The original contractor that installed our Air Handler were atrocious. The unit was not installed right, building codes were violated, parts were not replaced, vents were restricted, and the emergency heat didn't work, fuses were blowing on a weekly basis. After 2 other companies failed to come fix our unit, our warranty company assigned Anglin air to come out. I got my first phone call the same day they were assigned to the case. The dispatcher, Judy, did an A1 job throughout the entire process. From scheduling, to updates, to detailing what needed to be done, I was informed the whole way through. Not to mention, I was in Utah for 4 days and these guys did the ENTIRE job before I got home. I trusted them to get in and out, sight unseen to me, and just relying on my home security system to make sure there was no funny business. Came home on the fourth day and went to our attic to inspect the work. They did a compete makeover. Changing supports, adding new duct work, replacing the duct tape I had to use to keep the thing in one piece with actual concrete plaster-like material. Turned on the air and swoosh all systems are on full blast. I even noticed some insulation reinforcement on our freon lines which were not there before. I'm no HVAC expert but I seriously wish I had these guys the first time around. This ordeal was a complete nightmare until Anglin sent their troops in. These guys are AMAZING! My boyfriend and I have been having problems with our old heat pump since September 2014 and they gave us a brand new system under warranty. They made sure that everything matched code, and it was done very well. Just 2 days ago they fixed our A/C and gave us a whole new outside unit under warranty. We found a small leak a few hours after they left, and they came back the next day and fixed it. They always return phone calls and do a job well done! We will definitely keep these guys for a long time. read more

I had called last Friday because our heat went out and I have a sick infant and needed our heat back on . The lady I had spoke to on the phone was great ! Very kind and helpful . No issues with her . She made sure someone came out the same day. She is the ONLY reason I'm giving this company 2 stars and not one . If I only remembered her name . The technician that came out was nice however he didn't tell me his name or what company he worked for . Which was unprofessional in itself . Then he got the heat back on but told me the real issue and that it needs to be fixed . But didn't fix it . Just left . Now this is the second time I've had someone come out to fix this issue . And he tore my yard up while attempting to get out of my driveway . So this morning my husband calls just to discuss what needs to be done to the furnace so our heat doesn't keep going out . If you get called out to fix a problem , shouldn't you actually FIX the underlying problem not just do a temporary fix ? Anyway , The person he spoke to on the phone (which there's NO WAY it was the same person I had dealt with Friday ) was BEYOND disrespectful . Cussing back and forth . He told me the problem, and was honest and fair. His prices are reasonable and he really values his reputation. Way to go! My daughter has extreme allergies to mold, dust and pollen. Blue came out and found the source of our babies constant asthma attacks. The ducts were full of mold. He installed a whole new system, heat, ac, ducts. He very well could have saved our child's life. He gave us the fairest deal he could without just giving it away. He was always on time and prompt. Anglin Air was contracted by American Home Shield (AHS) to repair our furnace located on third floor of our home. Blue, Owner of Anglin Air state a part needed to be replaced and got the approval for the replacement by ASH. Blue and his employee came and replaced the part needed to repair the furnace; however, the part he used was not the part AHS paid for and approved. It was a cheaper part that is made for a smaller furnace. The next day we went on vacation. Our daughter checked on our house and found water from the furnace had covered the up stairs hall, guest bedroom and ran through the ceiling to the second floor. We contacted American Home shield and they sent another contractor who confirmed that the wrong part was place on the furnace and previous work Blue stated was done was incomplete. We sustain damages to our ceiling vents and ceiling, up stair bath room, guest bed room flooring,and hall flooring. Blue promised he and his son were certified contractor and could make the repairs. We attempted to allow his company to handle the repair. After four month of trying to work with Blue we decided to called and get quotes from professional contractors. We emailed the quotes and made numerous calls to Blue asking him to resolve the issues. As of today they are avoiding our calls and emails. read more

I would give them 0 stars if it were possible. I am an American Home Shield (AHS) customer, and AHS contracts Anglin Air, LLC, for HVAC service calls & repairs. According to AHS policy, contractors are to contact customers within 24 hours of the service request from AHS to schedule a service date. I was not contacted until 48 hours later by Anglin, and upon receipt of a call from Judy in the office, she tried to convince me that they have 48 hours to make contact with the customer to schedule an appointment (untrue). Judy then asked me if I worked and if I could be at the home the same day she called me so that a technician could come since they were in the area. I informed her that I could not be home on last minute notice. She asked me what would be a good time and I informed her that evening would work. She initially said that would be ok because her husband didn't mind working later. At 7:10pm the same day that the Technician was suppose to arrive between 5 & 8pm, Judy called and stated that one Technician finished early and went home and her husband wouldn't be able to come because he was in Brookhaven working on another job. She then asked if I could be available the next day and what time. I told her 5:30pm and she said ok. At 4:27pm the day I was to receive service, Judy called & asked if I was home. I told her I was not home yet because the appointment was at 5:30pm. She told me that the Technician was still on the clock and she did not want him to be waiting around on the clock because he had finished his job in Lithia Springs. I told her that we could try to be there a little earlier, but was headed home at the time she called. She said that she would have the Tech head that way and wait. At 5:27, I called Judy & let her know we were around the corner from the house & would see the Tech in a couple minutes. She the said she would have to charge after hour fees since she'd have to pay overtime because it was after 5 & rudely said Techs want to go home just like we do after work. I told her she made no mention of after hour fees when she scheduled the appointment the day before, and it was rude and unprofessional to tell me about when the Techs want to go home, then I asked her to have the Technician leave my home, as I've never experienced such unprofessional practices with a business. Potential customers need to know that Judy is unethical & unprofessional. There are several great competitors in this industry & no need to tolerate such. Judy was curt & her tone was totally disrespectful. She has no respect for customers or their time. She is not forthright about the businesses fees or practices when scheduling appointments. I've NEVER had such a horrific experience as I did with this company. It is not fit for BBB accreditation , having such distasteful customer service. The same day, AHS had a great competitor (Abney Heating & Air, Inc.) contact me and they came to my home the very next day and had my lower HVAC unit cooling and running properly in no time. read more

This company is amazingly efficient. I had been previously given a different company to work on my unit and they didn't do anything but take my money. Anglin Air came in and saved the day! From beginning to end. My home warranty service sent these angels to me in the midst of this very hot summer in Atlanta. They came in, assessed the issue and provided fast reliable service. The serviceman fixed what he could the day he arrived until he could get the proper parts for my broken AC system. Judy called to tell me the process and how long it could take the parts to arrive and was very honest and upfront with me. Explaining that she was getting authorization from my warranty company and ordering the parts and taking care of the red tape. What touched my heart is that fact that they were honest and up front with me about the process. They did what they said they would do and then some. They ordered parts and the moment the parts arrived, they came and fixed my air conditioning system 4 days before expected!
