Brand new in town. Just opened up so I thought I would stop in and check it out. The place was packed with a 20 minute long line snaking all over the restaurant. Every table was empty as the long line made the place so packed it was uncomfortable to sit at a table, relax and eat. Oh well its a new place, so I guess I'll put up with it. So I waited the 20 minutes to get to the front of the line and ordered a regular Big Kahuna cheese steak for my friend and a regular Chipotle Chicken Cheese Steak for myself. The guy at the counter wrote two numbers on a piece of paper and yelled something at me I couldn't hear (place was packed and noisy). Oh well its a new place, so I guess I'll put up with it. I went to the end of the line to pay and was told the grill was backed up and it would be a twenty minute wait for the subs. Oh well its a new place, so I guess I'll put up with it. We finally got them and headed home since eating there was impossible. We both had some great anticipation based on the chains reputation. Finally we open the subs, all set to eat, and what a disappointment. First, a regular sub, at the cost of almost $9 is about 8" long. Go to Sheetz or Subway and get their regular at 12". Second the $9 price tag for 4 less inches of sandwich was a bit of a shock. More money for less sandwich compared to the competitors. Third, they got my order wrong. I got a cheese steak instead of a chicken cheese steak. If they had used names instead of numbers for the sandwiches when they took my order perhaps I would have known they got it wrong and could have corrected them then. Forth, the sandwich was OK. That's about the best I can say. Nothing great and surely not worth more money for less sandwich. Oh well its a new place, so I guess I'll... wait a minute... I don't have to put up with it. I think I'll stick with Subway or Sheetz. read more

Y'all. I just can't. I have have been on the hunt for the perfect philly cheese steak. I've been to philly and even tried some of the places they've had. So far it's been a disappointing journey. So I've settled for some restaurants that weren't half bad and some pretty tasty. When I tell you. This is the BEST Philly cheesesteak I've ever had in my 3 decades on this earth....I mean it. I got the chipotle philly cheese steak and y'all....angels sang from the heavens.....I let my fiancé have a couple bites and his face was like holy heck and he was like damn....that's an amazing Philly cheesesteak. We ordered via door dash too. So I can only imagine how it is in the restaurant itself. I am about to order another one after this review. If their sandwiches are all like this.....Lord help us all! This place is fantastic. Recently I found out that I needed to switch to a gluten free diet. On Valentine's Day when they were totally packed, they followed a very strict protocol on how to prepare my Gluten free sub. I'm talking from washing down the cutter for my cheese, to new pair of gloves and washed hands each time a new item for my sub was handled. I was very greatful and impressed!! Come here a decent amount, but this past time, the experience was very poor. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch wrap, when I brought it home (live 15 min away) it was completely soaked in ranch and so soggy. Disappointing. My boyfriend got a club supreme sub, it was overly salted to the point he could not finish it. Just overall not happy with the experience tonight. On top of that, when going to pick up the order, we had asked for it at the counter, and they said it wasn't ready but when asked if we needed help by a different staff member, they found it sitting on the counter the entire time waiting. I have now eaten here on five or six different occasions so I could give this place a fair review. I find it better than most sub shops, as they slice the meat freshly in front of you, as well as the cheese. The choices and variety are good for a sub shop, and both hot and cold options are available. There's also a decent selection of toppings, but get tired of being asked if I want it "Mike's Way"! No!!! I want it MY way!! My only really big negative is you can get just as much food for half the price at Subway. A "regular" sized roast beef sub is $8.95, which equates to about a 6" sub. A "giant sub" is $15.95!!! If you don't mind the sting to your bank account, you'll love it here! read more

While I think they have the best subs, I can't understand the lack of curbside service. The cost is minimal to them, and they could even charge a buck or two to offset it, but the value to the customer trying to stay distance from the people in their small store, many without masks, is high. They even had curbside service for awhile but now have decided it is not important enough to provide that service to their customers. I have to wonder if that cost is prohibitive to provide that additional safety, what makes you think they are willing to pay the cost to keep the inside dining and prep area sanitized? read more

Never had this before, so we gave it a try. Got a turkey sub in a tub(which I thought would equal a salad) and a philly steak. The "tub" literally was a container with the middle of a VERY small subs contents. It barely covered the bottom of their container. The sub tasted good but was so tiny for the price. Will not return. Too expensive for what you get. read more

On Saturday 3-6 we attempted to purchase a "ham & cheese" hoagie of some sort. This switch & bait firm lists at least 5 subs that would fit. All they wanted to peddle was chicken which I dot like. No apologies, no explanations why no ham. Will never go there again. Too many honest & delicious subs elsewhere. Forget this shop in high rent district & buy at McAbee's Subs. read more

I love their hoagies, but I think their prices are extremely high as compared to other hoagie places in the area.

The only reason I gave this place a 4 star is because I do think it is a lil overpriced. I do like the fact that your samich meat is cut fresh as you order. My Philly steak was cut then cooked in the grill. My niece had the American Classic n she loved it!! I will def be back for more. Really like the simplicity of the restaurant. read more

Went to college near Philly so love Philly cheese steaks. Got the "Big Kahuna" (regular size), without the jalapenos (who puts jalapenos on a cheese steak). The sandwich was delicious. Some of the bad points were the size and cost of the sub (seems a little pricey for the size sandwich, and for this area) and of course the obligatory rude teen staff (tho the young man who brought the sub out was smiling and pleasant).
