Jersey Mikes is completely underrated. At least, in the circles I run in it is and it deserves a lot more appreciation. The thing I love about Mikes is when you get a cold sandwich, they slice the deli meat and cheese as they're making the sub so it's super fresh, and it tastes like it. Having it Mikes way (with salt & pepper, oil, vinegar, etc) also is elite. I don't know what it is about the vinegar addition, but it is so freaking good. If you like hot subs, they have a lot of good options for those too. My family loves getting the buffalo chicken sub and it's pretty darn tasty. But I love the cold italian sub so much I would have a hard time getting anything else. This Harden location in Lakeland is always on point. The workers are always beyond nice and it's pleasant coming here. read more

The staff at Jersey Mike's is personable and does a great job! We've gone different times a day-- lunch or dinner and always been greeted happily. Tonight, Valentine's Day, was no exception! I called to let the manager know that my food showed up at my place of business, smelling like marijuana. The bag and the food all smells and is all over the store now. Everyone smells it. I called Jersey mikes and spoke to an Alaina who said she was manager but did not answer the phone as hi this is so and so the manager how can I help you.... She just says, umm hi.... I'm like are u the manager? She said yeah! I said um ok what's your name? So she said Alaina and I proceeded to tell her what had happened. She says there is nothing they can do about it. I ordered from Jersey mikes, I did not order from door dash or any other service. I understand that another person has to deliver it but someone has to be responsible and she was NO HELP AT ALL!!! Didn't even really care that she had an upset customer on the phone!!!!!! What's wrong with this place. I wanna like it so bad bc I hear good things about it. Where do I begin. Been going there for years. Tonight the service was horrible. The person who took the order and made the sandwich was the only good thing about our visit. The sandwiches, one regular, one mini, sat there as the 2 other employees stood and didn't ask us what extras we wanted on the food but did quickly ask for payment. I had the mini and never got to put anything else but have it " Mikes Way". My husband was ok with his. The mini all but 4 inches long was cut in 2. Once we left and because the store is located off a very busy road, I wasn't able to return to ask why I was charged the price of a regular when I was given the mini which is what I wanted. Not that $2.35 is going to break me but considering what led up to that, I may not visit this location again. read more

Time for a rant. Most large sandwich chains allow you to customize and/or have your sandwich hot or cold. Not Jersey Mike's. If it is a cold sub, they will not heat it and have no microwave and won't put it in the oven upon request. This is ridiculous since I am paying for it. Jersey Mike's Subs on Harden Blvd. This place is a chain (originally started in NJ but has gone nationwide) yet it has great sandwiches that taste like the mom and pop place it used to be. It is a consistent and the subs are filled with quality ingredients. I love all the toppings when ordering Mike's way! Mike's Way is shredded lettuce, onions, sliced tomatoes, with shakes of oil, vinegar and spices! You can order it dry or just with mayo too. The best bread is the herb bread but there is white and wheat as well. Additionally, you can add drinks, chips, tasty cakes or cookies to your order. We had a to go online lunch order for six. Ordered & paid online all 6 sandwiches were made correctly, packaged and waiting for me! Simple and accurate. Parking was available right out front. We'll be back read more

I was excited to see Jersey Mike's come ro the south side. This was first visit to this location and was pleased. The crew is still getting into the swing of things but are doing a great job. The girl making my original Italian asked a few questions to ensure it was spot on and it was. I usually get the cheese steak ir big kahuna but wanted to expand my horizons. So far every sub is amazing. Love the fact they slice your meat and cheese to order making it fresh as possible. To all on South side that lijes subs give it a shot. read more

It was my first time at Jersey Mike's and the lady at the front counter helped breakdown some of the fan favorites and go to subs. I usually don't leave bad reviews but the service was really bad. I was picking up an Uber eats order for a customer and had to wait about 15-20 minutes for the order. I could see the bag of food with the customers name on it right behind the counter and when I tried to speak to someone after I had waited for about five minutes I was ignored over and over again. There was another Uber eats driver there as well who had been there even longer than I had and she was being ignored as well. While I was waiting there was a woman being very rude and impatient with a customer having a sandwich being made. She kept asking him if he wanted his sub made "The Mikes Way" and he said he didn't know what it was. She only pointed at the menu and asked him again. He said he didn't know what it was eventually just told her how he wanted it made. It was inconvenient as you have a certain amount of time to deliver an order and it can negatively impact a driver. read more

Placed the order on their app - arrived to find one girl at the counter, no customers, yet no one noticed the order came in. OK, it happens. But when we finally got home with the sandwiches we found that two out of 3 was not what we ordered, despite the receipt being very clear - seriously, how does Mike's Way with xtra Oregano become mayo and no oregano?? The bread was not fresh like it usually is. I ended up paying for a dinner that I didn't enjoy because I didn't have time to drive back to the store and wait for them to be made correctly. Today, when I went in there. There was no one in the front and waited about 10 min for someone to take my sub order. I heard a lot of bickering in the back, they should talk outside and not in the back where everyone can hear and see them. Their #44 was decent but could have used some more salt, but other than that it was decent. Some people are friendly and some aren't, I was hear last Monday and the girl up front was very sweet and kind and always had a smile on her face, I didn't see her here today but I know some food industries can't keep many people, I hope to see her there if I do come back (her name was Alyssa). And when I ordered through DoorDash one time my soda exploded on me and the doordasher said "they were taking forever and a guy went into the back to grab your soda" so maybe he was having a bad day and took it out on my soda. Well my wife and I decided to try Jersey Mikes For the very first time, my wife arrived at 8:15pm With the store closing at 9:00pm I ordered the #44 buffalo chicken on wheat My wife got the #13 that she said wasn't to bad... Ok back to my #44 I found it hard to really taste To well due to the excessive amount of sauce put on the sandwich. The bottom of the bun was so saturated I had to eat with a fork. While I really like Jersey Mike's, this one cannot read an online order and produce it correctly. Further, they do not answer the phone. When I called because of another screwed up order, the phone rang a long time. They finally picked up the phone and hung it up without saying a word. I called back; after 50 rings, I hung up. The crew was friendly. Made jokes with customers and were helpful but I received the incorrect order. This was my first time at Jerseys and I cant say I'll return. I bought a reg chipotle chicken (but they gave me beef) cheese steak, brownie, a bag of chips and a soda. For $15.00 for a meal for one, this is a rip off. The sub isn't even that great. I was very excited to see this store opening here but was very disappointed with my visit. I stood at the counter with 4 workers for about 3-4 min before I was ever acknowledged. I ordered my sub and another person walked up behind me. The sales clerk sliced my bread and left in on the counter while she discussed the customer behind me sandwich selection... for several minutes!! Finally she comes back to my sandwich. I told her what veggies and went to make my drink. I get my sandwich and went to sit down to eat. I had ordered the club and had no bacon!! I pointed this out to a different person behind the counter and he just said, oops she forgot it, but I'll bring you some. He literally brought me 3 pieces of bacon in his hand.
