Rude and obnoxious and over priced Went in to buy 9…read morecostumes for the renaissance faire - was with my children I was told they couldn't take the costumes off the shelves - ok no problem I get that- u was told they can't take costumes out of the bags- I get that too - there were signs posted of that rule - but when I went to send a picture of a costume to my sister to see if she liked it I was told We don't allow cameras or photos of our merchandise - I explained I was sending my sister a photo since she couldn't make it and she said no exceptions I asked if there was a posted sign to this affect and I was told it's a general store policy and they don't post signs stating this (despite signs being posted all over the store about not taking costumes out of the bags) it's not that she was dictating and laying rules the entire 8 minutes I was in the store - whatever to each it's own - it's the fact I was getting an attitude about it and being dismissed as a patron of the store - I went in with the intention to purchase 9 costumes she was told this when we walked in but obviously our business wasn't welcome there from the attitude we received They also have signs posted 25% off costumes - one if the children's costumes I was looking at was 49.99 in party lane (about 36.50 after the discount). I found the same costume for 24.99 at the other store funny thing is if it wasn't for the obnoxious attitude which forced me to walk out of the store I would have purchased the costume from party lane without thinking twice I found my costumes at another local store and luckily Party lane was so rude because the other store was much more reasonable price wise, much more helpful and much more appreciative of my business

Even the kids gave us great feedback There are many that provide this service so why use Smiles and Beyond? - We were lucky to reach out to them last minute and they were able to come out to our party. So flexibility - across all aspects. - Pricing is very fair. The service alone was above and beyond from our experience. -- Most importantly - they went above and beyond. We had a projector and some speakers (not that great). Leo asked me if we wanted him to hook up his speaker and projector. I said no it'll do not wanting to bother. He said no, it has to be perfect and so we switched to Leo's speaker and video adapter. So glad we did! (My husband got sick last year and we had to cancel our wedding so this was a way to celebrate our union with family and friends). Leo could have stayed at the booth doing what we hired him for, instead he saw me struggling a little and offered to help. Ella and Leo even came looking for me at the end of the party before packing up just to see if there was anyone else I wanted to take a picture with - knowing I did not get to take many pictures at all while entertaining our guests. So although many will provide a service ... very few actually put people first - and Leo and Ella did just that. From our very first contact - their attention to detail and especially the caring human touch was truly impeccable. With the rain and another party to go to - they did not run out the door when the clock hit 4. Instead Leo and Ella made sure our guests and I were happy - me especially :) Would use them again and if you're shopping around - at least meet with Leo and Ella. He had a custom backdrop made for me and showed up with top of the line equipment. We used the photo ring. Had no idea how much of a hit it was going to be. Turned out to be the highlight of the entire evening. People would bit quit taking pics. He had great photo props and added little touches that made it so much better. We got a copy of every pick taken in a photo book with signatures and messages from every guest. I can't recommend them enough! It will add to or in my case be the hit of your event.
