When I contacted the owner, instead of acknowledging the issue or attempting to resolve it, he became defensive and argumentative both over the phone and via text. He justified the discrepancies by blaming "professional photos," claiming the advertised arrangement was "shoved" into the vase, and referring to missing elements as a "judgment call." None of these changes were disclosed beforehand, which is unacceptable especially for a birthday order. Rather than taking accountability or offering a meaningful resolution, he focused on defending his decisions. This was not a misunderstanding, it was a failure to deliver the product as advertised and a clear failure in customer service. Don't order from Jersey Shore Florist is you're in any kind of hurry. I placed an order Friday morning, and paid for a Saturday delivery. On Saturday, the owner called to tell me that he somehow "missed the order" and couldn't fill it that day. How about tomorrow, Sunday? No, he said he'd have to wait until Monday because of the huge snow story that "might happen" the next day. (No big storm; they got 1-2 inches.) The flowers were finally delivered very late on Monday afternoon, 3 1/2 days after they were ordered. Since I paid up front, there was nothing I could do about a florist who just doesn't want to work on the weekends and delivers days later than contracted. I needed table arrangements for my daughter's baby shower. I met with Rick and Chris before the shower, provided the invitation for their inspiration and discussed colors. There was a particular flower I requested and a few days before the shower Rick called me to tell me due to supplier issues he could not get it but would be sure he would capture the feel we discussed with a substitute. We were blown away with the arrangements!!! We had a drawing and people were so excited when they won the centerpiece. I found the owner and workers very polite, especially ordering an item that came to be only $4.00. I was treated with respect and when I came to pick up my flower for NYE a few days later I was impressed that the flower was very fresh and beautiful and that they remembered my name, my first and last name since it was never written down. Absolutely terrible. I thought he was gonna be good because he talked a good game and did a friend of my husband's wedding. Please save yourself the time and aggravation. He pretended to listen to my ideas and then when the time came I asked for samples. He said 'Oh no, trust me your gonna love them.' I did not love them. I asked for purple and blue flowers without any specific flowers in mind. He gave me white flowers and pink and swore that they were purple. The flowers looked cheap and tacky, like a funeral. Everything I ordered he gave me the wrong colors. The day before my wedding when I saw what he was making, I asked him to fix it and he cursed at me. I'm a Christian and do not even use curse words, even though I wanted to that day! He threatened to give me my check back and cancel my order, so I can't get someone else to do my flowers. I would not recommend this florist. When i ordered flowers for a funeral, he appeared rushed and made me feel that way as well. He was friendly enough and knew the family, but seemed in a hurry to take my order. I called a week later as I didn't get an email confirmation. Since I didn't order online, that's why I didn't get the confirmation. I can understand that, but the florist told me to "trust him" that he made the order the way I had asked. I asked him how much the flowers cost and he said he really couldn't look it up since it wasn't on the computer. As I pressed for the amount, he found my order and gave me the amount. I would not order from this florist again. He came across arrogant and not very kind being I was ordering for a funeral. I told him the grandson had not seen that flowers, and all he kept saying was, "Believe me, it was there...people often don't see the arrangements!" He didn't make me feel very confident. read more

The flowers were beautiful and the price was very good! There was no delivery charge which most places in the area wanted $ 200.00 just for delivery!! The were on time! My daughters wedding was at 11 Am which meant the flowers had to arrive by 9 Am for pictures and they were there when he promised!!
