My husband ordered me an 80 dollar plus delivery fee for the flowers arrangement for our anniversary. The flowers came in and looked like nothing he would order. The bouquet was small and weird colors. The Supermarket arrangements look better than what we have gotten and for far less money. When my husband called back the florist proposed him to come to the store and pick up some extra stems for the bouquet.... Seriously?! Horrible Service! We just celebrated our daughters wedding on June 1st. She had a unique vision of what she wanted on the tables at the reception. Susan and her team exceeded all expectations! I have received 2 arrangements of roses from Gig Morris in the last 2 years & have been thrilled with the quality. The first was a dozen yellow roses which were gorgeous when they arrived & remained beautiful for nearly a week ( not easy). The 2nd was an arrangement in a low glass vase, of exquisite fall colored roses. The arrangement itself was perfect & 4 days later still looks vibrant! Not easy with roses. I had a fantastic experience with Gig Morris. I first called the shop just a few weeks before my wedding, and luckily they were able to work with me on short notice because we only needed a bridal bouquet, boutonniere, and simple hydrangea centerpieces. When we visited the shop we had only a vague idea of what we wanted, but Susan patiently showed us many examples (live and in photos) and listened to our reactions to develop arrangements that would suit us. She delivered the flowers to our hotel in Ocean Grove the morning of the wedding (for no extra charge), and I was thrilled with the finished product, especially my beautiful bouquet! I made the mistake of relying on gig morris to prepare 5 bag prizes for a baby shower (for a boy). I told them I wanted a succulent and other things girls would like to win. When I went to pick them up, I saw brown paper bags with slime green tissue paper. I looked to see what was inside and all that I found was a small white "surf"-something scented candle and a bag of cookies. There was no plant or flower arrangement. I asked about the slime-green tissue paper and they just simply told me they had run out of blue. I'm very disappointed in the quality of their work and I will never rely on them for any event again. I ended up having to run around town an hour before the party to buy new bags, new tissue paper, and gifts to fill them. Not what I had planned to do right before my sons baby shower nor the impression I wanted to make. And, to top it off, they charged me $20 a bag. read more

Gig Morris did the flowers, tables, and ceremony decor for my July wedding. It was a hot day and all the flowers still looked perfect by the end of the night. The process of working with them was so easy. I was never a bride that was overly excited about flowers. I simply chose something off Pinterest and sent it to Gig Morris. What I wanted was quoted a bit higher than we had budgeted for, but after sitting down with them we made a few minor adjustments to get the price down. When I saw my bouquet on the day of the wedding I was blown away. It looked identical to what I had pinned. They also made suggestions as to how the ceremony space and tables should look to tie in my dress and bouquet. I was thrilled with everything. I would highly recommend Gig Morris. They made all the flowers for the outside ceremony arch, the bridal bouquet, the flowers for the bridal party and even flowers for their dog!! They also provided all the flowers for the reception. They completely NAILED the look my daughter was looking for -- the arrangements were gorgeous and exactly what Joanna wanted. They were also very reasonable and very easy to work with. Used Gig Morris for funeral flowers for my sister. My family were more than disappoined when we arrived at the viewing to find flowers that were not fresh, arrangements that were skimpy and disregard for the specific colors we asked to be used. We were advised by the funeral director who pointed out the dead flowers that we should call Gig Morris. I did that today and the owner called back and did nothing but raise her voice to me and insist everything was as ordered. She was quite defensive, unpleasant and a very poor businessperson. Susan and her staff did a wonderful job with our wedding flowers! I brought in a couple of pictures that I liked and she helped me come up with some beautiful arrangements. She was also flexible about our budget when we ended up adding more tables than we originally thought. The flowers were delivered everywhere on time, and looked amazing. A lot of people commented on how lovely the centerpieces were. One small complaint is that I wish Gig Morris would get an email address, since we were planning our wedding from several time zones away and had some trouble getting in touch by phone. read more
