Today we celebrated my grandma & grandpa's 66th anniversary by inviting Jersey Wedding Photography to capture memories. Tom was super understanding as we needed accommodations for the kids and the elderly. At the last minute, Tom let us choose a new location so that the grandparents would feel more comfortable and was great with the kids. He did a fantastic job with the lighting and he let us see some samples of photos right after he took them and what we saw was incredibly beautiful. He is so talented! On top of his photography skills, he is also a turtle rescuer! A turtle had wandered away from the pond and got too close to the restaurant and he helped guide it back safely to the pond. Prior to signing the contract with him he went over all of our difference package options and was so flexible to meet our needs. His portfolio was breathtaking and the albums he offers are amazing. Unlike most vendors, after you sign your contract he is still 100% easy to get in touch with. His responsiveness is top notch. If we had any questions along the way he was always right there with an answer. We never worried about a thing. The day of the wedding he really worked his magic! He doesn't just focus on the people and the event, he also gets the details. The little things that you might miss throughout your day...he gets them! He is like a shadow throughout the day. He's getting everything but you barely see him! I don't know how he does it! He approaches everything with a unique eye which makes for truly amazing photos. Thomas was AMAZING! I am having a difficult time expressing how happy Thomas made me on my wedding day. Thomas came highly recommended through a very good friend who is as stingy with praise as anyone I can recall. My friend's exact words were, "Trust me ... you will NOT be disappointed with Tom. He is, by far, the best and most professional photographer in the biz." With that recommendation, I called Thomas and scheduled our first meeting. From that meeting ... to the end of my ceremony ... to the initial pictures he shared with us the night of the wedding, I have been nothing but happy. I am a sales professional and have a good ability to read people. When you meet Thomas, you can just see that he is genuine. Thomas is not out to make a sale; he doesn't treat you like a dollar sign. Thomas treats his clients like real people. It is apparent Thomas views photography not as a 'job,' but as his passion and he goes to great lengths to create whatever it is you want. I knew we had made the right choice when Thomas came and spent three (3) or four (4) hours with us for our engagement shoot. Thomas even made my fiancé - who is more camera shy than me - feel comfortable. I doubt that he ever got all of the mud out of his car ... but that's another story. I have been in my fair share of weddings and have seen many kinds of photographers, even some who were unprofessional and some who were downright rude; Thomas was neither of these. Thomas was sweet and respectful to work with. He was right where I needed him to be when I needed him to be there and actually helped the flow of the day with his calm and laid back (but always professional) demeanor. This was my day and I was striving for as much perfection as I could create. I feel that having a photographer who understood me, and what I was looking for, was more important than I even realized. Thomas listened to me when I tried to describe my vision and he captured every detail of my fairytale. Thomas brought another professional photographer with him to help capture our wedding. At the many weddings I have attended in the past, the second photographers are usually just standing in the background holding lights or snapping photos of the same shots staged by the main photographer. Jed was a true professional and added his own unique vision to the day. All in all, I do not think I could recommend Thomas more highly. Working with Thomas was amazing! We did an engagement session last year which was everything I wanted - classy, interesting photos in NYC. We had a great time walking around, stopping to take pictures that we thought would look cool. We had both made list of specific shots we wanted and we got to those as well. It made me really confident about the wedding so I had nothing to worry about for the 8 months leading up to it which was a relief! And the wedding lived up to everything we thought. Thomas is a great communicator, always on time, got all the pictures we wanted and had pictures up the next day on Facebook for everyone to enjoy. We chose to get married at Sandals Antigua, and they do not allow you to use offsite photographers.
