I appreciate the warm welcome with a friendly congregation I received during my first visit. I was…read morevisiting my sister in Mocksville who is in much pain and terminally ill. This beautiful building, meaningful service, wonderful choir and friendly members made for a very uplifting feeling for the start of this day and one I will not forget. While listening to a beautiful musical piece sung by the choir, I felt emotional about how much my own Church in Oceanside California has meant to me and my family over many years. My dying sister has never been to any church very much and has had a very rough life. She just began asking me about her new journey she is about to take. I am glad my Church experience has allowed me to humbly tell her about my understanding of the love, forgiveness and grace promised by Jesus, now that she has accepted him into her life. I can see that it has brought her peace and faith in her final days on this earth. I learned that this church has also recently lost dear members of its congregation and I can easily can see the love and support they give to those member' s families. I sat praying that more people will be drawn to this wonderful Church and its people. With God's help that will happen.
