It was then that they said that the lamps had been there for weeks and somehow nobody reached out to us to let us know. After picking them up, we realized they were too large and returned the following week to pick out a different set of lamps to exchange. That's when all of a sudden there were all these previously unexplained rules about having only 24 hours to exchange items. Obviously that return policy is unreasonable, and to make matters worse, the store manager John was at abrasive when we raised the issue. Ashley will never get a dollar out of us again.

Just difficult in dealing with people who should be more professional in a service industry. We were charged an additional 150$ on the install for not having the right tip and having to go to the store to get it...We feel it's something that they should have put on themselves. Instead, we were told that our house could have blown up had he not checked, huh???!! Wouldn't a professional installer check their work properly to make sure that doesn't happen??? Seems like a moot point.

I have used Plumbarama in the past for my plumbing but had no idea until i passed by their showroom that they sell and install fireplaces, too. I have had a fireplace since i moved into my home about 17 years ago that i never used because it was just wood burning. I had some decorative candles in there, which i never lit either. I really wished i had a way of enjoying my fireplace and actually get heat from it as well. I stopped in the showroom and to my surprise, i was greeted and able to discuss my options with a knowledgeable woman who explained that there are easy ways to make this happen. I picked out a gas log set that i liked and the plumber came out and ran my gas line right into the fireplace. Now I have a beautiful gas log set that i really enjoy and is super easy with a remote. Their inventory changes by the day. I walked out with shirts, dresses, a shacket and all kinds of items ranging from $10 to &15 to $25, and the most expensive piece I bought was a dress for $50. All in, I estimate I got close to $1,000 worth of merchandise for just $162. That is unreal. First off-- The lack of communication and unprofessionalism is top notch. What a horrible way to run a business. They have a very rude and negligent receptionist who will tell you she's worked there for over a year, but makes noteworthy mistakes. I originally ordered a couch from them that was too tall and didn't fit through my door, so I exchanged it for something else that happened to be cheaper. I was told my couch would be delivered that following Saturday and I would receive a store credit for the difference in price. So with that in mind, I decided to come back with my dad for more furniture whilst he was also looking for a sofa. I found a piece of furniture I liked and while checking out, that same receptionist (Marsha) tells me I no longer have that store credit. She gave me very little information but said she was yelled at that morning because she put the money back on my credit card when she was doing the exchange for the new couch I ordered. I was still confused and found out AFTER I LEFT, that not only did she put the difference in price back on my card (which really isn't a big deal...) she actually CANCELED my entire exchange and put the original couch I bought first and the new couch(that I was expecting the next day) back on my card... and the BEST PART is NOBODY LET ME KNOW. She got yelled at that morning (rightfully so) and no one even thought to call the customer?!??? WTF!!!! They use an outside delivery company that sends you a "courtesy" call (and I say that very sarcastically) for the approximate time frame to expect your furniture. When I called at 7 to see how far away they were they told me they could get to my apartment in an hour... well I tried to call them and nobody answered. 2 hours and some change went by and They came at 9:45pm!!!!! They should take notes from Raymour and Flanagan (they call you when they are 15 minutes away) When I tell you I am beyond disgusted, I'd rate this entire experience a black dot. They don't deserve any stars in my book. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I will never recommend them to anyone nor will I ever use this company again.
