It was then that they said that the lamps had been there for weeks and somehow nobody reached out to us to let us know. After picking them up, we realized they were too large and returned the following week to pick out a different set of lamps to exchange. That's when all of a sudden there were all these previously unexplained rules about having only 24 hours to exchange items. Obviously that return policy is unreasonable, and to make matters worse, the store manager John was at abrasive when we raised the issue. Ashley will never get a dollar out of us again.

So now here we are waiting for a piece of particle board to be replaced that will only break again. HOWEVER, be warned that they do not stand behind their products. I recently bought a washer-dryer set. The dryer never worked. They came and replaced the circuit board. Still didn't work. They said we needed to check our electricity. We did. All fine. They said they needed to contact the company (LG) and that the company needed THREE VISITS before they would replace it! We are now FIVE WEEKS without a dryer, and they are telling us we have to wait for the company (LG). All of our requests for just sending a replacement for the lemon have gone unheeded. When we call Gerhard's, they just shrug. When we call the company, they either don't get back to us or set up a call and then don't class. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. We thought Gerhard's was a reputable, reliable, and honest company. IT IS NOT. Everything is fine until there is a problem. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS.
