OMG! The best hummus I have ever had in any country! In addition they have this delicious pear juice from Turkey called TAMMY. You have to try it. At an overnight stop by Calgary airport, I found this place through Yelp reviewers. It is delicious - we had one falaffel platter and a chicken swarma platter. The food was delicious - seating inside was a little challenging. It is limited and the tables either seat 2, 4, and one is like a giant table/booth. Inside is nothing to write home about but there was a lengthy line that validated this place's popularity. It was a little hard to find in the corner of the shopping plaza. I've ordered from this restaurant twice now. Both times have been terrific. The only improvement I would recommend is that the cold salads not be packed in the same package as the hot food which causes the salads to no longer be crisp. Overall, great food! read more

Craving for Middle Eastern cuisine and this one satisfied my tastebuds and wallet. Ambiance and place is small but reasonable for this kind of business, known for more on pick up foods-shawarma sandwich. The beef kebab taste like i am back in Dubai where i had this dish (its a winner!), the rice is quite dry, i am not sure why i have potato in my rice plate but didn't had it coz the rice made me full already, per serving is really good size. Next time we will try the shawarma sandwich! Price is reasonable for $14 for a full plate. Display fridge has a variety of pop and baklava to go. We bought Baklava and Falafel for to go but my husband drop the baklava and has 2 pcs left to try on, the syrup is quite watery but its still taste good. read more

A friend and I walked in and were not greeted. We stood at the counter and no one said a single thing to us for 10 minutes. At this point one of the staff looked at the couple BEHIND us and asked them their order!!! We were in awe about what was happening so we turned around and walked out. Just had this the other day and within about 4 hours I was praying to the porcelain god...soon after it was both ends... I was hoping it was my lunch that caused the pain and anguish because the food tasted pretty good. My wife didn't eat her Chicken platter till the next day. I warned her over and over not to do it...but she refused and took a chance...what do u know...same results different day. The Baklava was good though. I'm also not a big fan of place that ask for tip on the machine when they didn't even serve you. A regrettable $30 dollars spent for 2. Loved it! Authentic, tasty and big portions. I'm Gluten-Free and I ate until I was full. The owner suggested beef shwarma tuwal - that was the best swarma, rice, salad and potatoes ever. I even had Vimto after 30 years! We'll be returning for sure. read more

This is a great spot for wraps and shawarma in the northwest part of Calgary. Very friendly staff. Hard to go wrong with any of the shaved meats. The kabobs are less great. Price is reasonable for awesome food. read more

I took my family out for my mom's birthday, and called before to make sure what's included in the family deal. They said in 75$ they would include four dips, pita, rice, BBQ and dessert. When our order arrived we only got hummus and two platters. When I asked the employee where is rest of the order, he yells "WE DON'T HAVE ANY". When I mentioned that I called and made sure, "Don't care who you spoke to, if I want I can include it, if I don't want to include I don't have to" . We had the Jerusalem rice-stuffed chicken meal for 10 people that you have to pre-order 1 day in advance for takeout. We read so many great reviews on it and had to try for ourselves. It was good but not great. 3 stuffed chicken $145+gst (did include, rice, salad, roasted veggies, canned drinks, and baklava). Because it was takeout by the time we got the food home, the salad was cooked because it was placed in the same bag as the hot food. Will prob try their single serving plates next time. read more

I sincerely recommend anyone who is in the neighbourhood and likes shawarma check this place out. The quality of the food is good, we are from Ontario and we're used to Montreal, Ottawa and London shawarma which is top notch. This stuff isn't as good as the best you can get there but if you are a shawarma lover it will definitely hit the spot. What really makes this place is the portions and the staff. I can only get through 3/4 of a medium sandwich on a good day, which is a shame because it is delicious. The staff are awesome. Incredibly polite and friendly and they have offered us freebies in line every time we visit. Last night we watched them make some delicious looking, piping hot, fresh falafel and when they finished they gave my boyfriend and I one each to snack on while we waited. It was incredible! These freebies likely won't last forever, they are just trying to boost business as they are new, but they are awesome.
