I gave her a run down of my situation and she was VERY helpful and sweet! You could literally hear her smile over the phone and have amazing customer service. From that conversation alone, I was sold! I stopped by during lunch time, dropped off my bags, and told her to take her time. She was honest about being backed up with orders, but she still done it in a timely manner! I was expecting maybe a month or two, but she got it done in a couple weeks. The bags came out SO cute and I felt like I got the best bag for my buck. If I ever need to get more work done, I definitely know where to go :)

This company was highly recommended by a teacher in a sewing class. He even came in and discussed…read moreupholstery with us. I made an appointment for him to come give me an estimate. He "forgot". We made another appointment. He "forgot". We made a third appointment. At the point when he was a half hour late, I called to see if he was coming. He made an excuse that he had my number and was waiting for me to call him. He finally arrived nearly an hour late. He gave an estimate that seemed reasonable. He said he'd be unable to even get the couch until a month later and it would take another month before it would be done. He said he would leave a book of fabric samples, based on what I told him my preferences were, "later in the day". He did not leave the sample book. In fact, he never followed up with the samples or even with a phone call. It's like he's trying to NOT get business. I would not want to risk having work done by him--it probably would be months before he even got to the job, and he is not very good about customer relations.

I eventually found another upholsterer who fixed my furniture and now it looks great. Unfortunately with the cost of having to have her work fixed, these pieces ended up costing more than I would've liked and I still have another piece that will also need to be fixed, very sloppy workmanship all around.
