Dr. Soria has been my chiropractor for years and I truly can't say enough good things about him. He is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cares about his patients' long-term health. He even stays late to accommodate you. Renée, the massage therapist, is also excellent , very skilled and therapeutic. I always leave feeling significantly better. I have to schedule with her if u want a good massage The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is due to ongoing communication issues at the front desk. It can be very difficult to get someone to answer the phone, and when calls are answered, the interactions are rushed. The front desk staff never greets or smiles . There have also been occasions where I was told I would receive a callback to confirm whether the an appt was available but I never received one. I always have to keep calling I genuinely value Dr. Soria and Renée's care, and I hope the office can improve front desk service because the treatment itself is excellent. With stronger administrative support, this practice would easily be 5 stars. read more

I have had neck issues basically ever since I was a young kid. I constantly feel the need to crack my neck all day and going to sleep is a huge struggle trying to find a position that my neck feels okay to sleep in. I have neglected going to a chiropractor my entire life due to just being ignorant and irresponsible about my health. After countless nights of spending on average about an hour to find a position to sleep in per night, I decided to make an appointment for this place. The process was easy to make an appointment with someone over the phone and within a few days, I came in for my first session today. I thought that it would just be a consultation where he asks me about my pain and gets to know me. I was entirely wrong. The first bit of the session it was like that, but then he immediately went into deep tissue work and started finding spots that were extremely tight and neglected. We then moved on to different types of methods and corrections. He explained what he was doing extremely well and gave really helpful tips on what to do to in terms of reinforcement and prevention. He really took his time with everything to make sure it was thorough and I appreciated that the most. Dr. Jess J. Soria isn't like any other chiropractor that I've had before. As a new patient, I came in with a minor neck stiffness. Before he actually adjusted me, he did some sort of evaluation and pre prep work. He made sure he knew where my tight spots were and provided some temperature therapy as well as an ultrasound machine therapy. I look forward to continuing my visits here. Just a little background info about me: I was in a car accident half a year ago and suffered herniation in my discs as well as muscle damage. The chiropractor and pain management doctors that I was originally seeing barely did any work on me; they didn't seem to believe the pain that I was in and provided me with minimal treatment. They didn't listen to my needs at all and just treated me like a malingerer and waste of their time. Fed up, I did a yelp search and found Cerritos Pain Center. My experience with Dr. Jess Soria was COMPLETELY different. He took the time to evaluate me and actually listened to my concerns, unlike my previous doctors who would often say things like "you're too young to be in that much pain", "other people's injuries are worse than yours so you don't have to worry so much". He treated me with respect and compassion, and I was honestly so relieved to have found this clinic that I wanted to cry. The front desk staff and medical assistants are also very professional and greatly contribute to the overall excellent customer service. Today 11-18-2013 had an appointment at 10.AM. Arrived a few minutes early for being first visit knew you want all those forms signed that are a total waste of time and not needed. anyway was taken back to room shortly after 10. your assistance came in and asked a few question. Then said you be in a little bit. She soon returned to place heat packs on me which I refused for at that point you have not seen me and we have not talked about the issue so what the point of heat back except an excuse to run up the cost to me more. She then again told me you be right in. Wow 35 minutes later your still a no show. So left room and told front desk my appointment was for 10 and here it's oven an half hour later your not there. She then told me my appointment was at noon. If that the case, why didn't she tell me right up front when I walked in, plus if that true why was your assistance trying put heat pads on me two early' also why was you front desk and assistance trying to make me set in that not so clean room for two hours.
