There's a reason why I use the word unfortunately when describing this company…read more Yes they have somewhat of a capable staff working in the back but the front desk ladies have confused my amounts twice since I've been there. I let the first issue go as maybe a computer glitch or the fact that the lady who worked there stopped left shortly after. You have to ask for receipts and there really is no system for money management other than a stack of papers which they write you're amount on. They let me take meds for free one week and the next week they gave me my dose and take home and stopped me while I was walking out the door to take my meds away. Apparently this week I didnt pay and I had to realize their mistake on my own. Of course I'll still be going to these guys for years because they're the only clinic in idaho but when. I say "unfortunately the only methadone clinic is this one," that is why. They need to pass out receipts like there's no tomorrow and train their front desk staff properly on how to handle peoples money.

After a few sessions I asked him if he thought I had it (the whole reason of me seeking therapy). He said only a psychiatrist can diagnose OCD (which is false). I did more research on my own and asked if he did ERP. He didn't even know what it was. He overshares in sessions, frequently mentioning his own past and trauma. I think I know more about his life than he knows about mine. When I started talking about safety, he said out of a scale of 0 to 5 (5 being feeling completely safe) he said he "never gets above a 4" because he's "been through too much." Which completely obliterated any faith I had that he might be a safe container. Why the hell would I feel safe sharing with someone who themselves doesn't feel safe?? He kept on saying he had treated people for "a number of years." When I asked how long that was he said 4. I wouldn't trust him to treat any number of things on his profile. He is more limited as a therapist than he markets himself. I wouldn't recommend him and I have zero interest in shopping for other therapists at this practice. I would have given him one star but his receptionist was very sweet, responsive, and made it easy to make and reschedule appointments on the phone and by email.
