This place is clean, warm, and welcoming. The massage table was heated as well. I loved and appreciated Maria. She is experienced and has been doing this for awhile. She asked me about my preferences and if I wanted to do any add-ons, which I opted not to do. She made me feel very comfortable and we had a great conversation during the massage session. The therapists I've worked with have always been knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely attentive. They take the time to listen to my concerns before each session and tailor the treatment accordingly. Unfortunately, I recently learned that IMR is now charging a 3% surcharge for credit card payments, and I have to say, it really annoys me. In today's world, paying with a credit card is the norm, and accepting those processing fees has traditionally just been part of the cost of doing business. Seeing that expense passed directly on to loyal customers--especially members--was disappointing. I truly enjoy supporting this business and would much rather continue my membership, but this new surcharge has honestly made me question whether I want to keep it. I asked for focus on my hands and feet and she barely touched either. Same thing for my fiancé, her requests were ignored as well. She spent the majority of the 90 minutes on my fiancé's legs instead of a full body as expected, and actually massaged her spine which was unexpected. It just didn't seem like the two masseuses were very experienced. All in all it definitely wasn't worth the $350 for 90 minutes.
