I would never recommend Jessica Hall as an attorney. She mishandled our bankruptcy case in ways that left my family unrepresented just days before trial and caused us serious financial and emotional harm. She failed to raise key arguments that could have kept us in Chapter 13, missed important filing deadlines (including the 2004 examination documents that were fully in her possession two weeks before they were due), and never communicated honestly with us. She even filed agreed motions with opposing counsel without our knowledge or consent -- something we only discovered after consulting alternate counsel. When we asked questions about her mistakes, instead of taking responsibility she produced retroactive "Disclosures of Compensation" and claimed additional fees were required, but never filed a fee application or explained any of this to us until after the deadline had already passed. Then, on August 19th, just days before our August 27th trial, she abruptly withdrew as our attorney -- leaving us stranded. In my experience, she put her own financial interests above her duty to her clients, failed to communicate, and abandoned us at the worst possible time.
