She did not respond to repeated requests for intervention. Marcy Millard was made aware that my son's mother denies him food as a form of punishment. She did not respond to repeated requests for intervention. Marcy Millard was provided a recording of my son's mother showing up to physically confront me for reporting the inappropriate behavior to DEFACS. On the recording my son's mother slapped me in front of my children. Marcy shared the recording with colleagues, and still failed to intervene. Marcy took exception to me reporting the claims to DEFACS, after several pleas for her intervention went ignored, and punitively recommended less parenting time. Marcy complained to my attorney that she did not care for me remarking about padded monthly fees, but she did not own the fact that she was being paid to advocate for my child and routinely responded late, indifferently or simply not at all. Marcy made my attorney aware that she knew my son's mother coached her daughter to say disparaging things. Marcy expressed outrage to my attorney when she learned quite early on that my son's mother fabricated accounts of events, making claims on record that could ruin my reputation. Marcy was asked to go on record in the early status hearings and share with the court what she conveyed to my attorney. Marcy exercised an alarming lack of courage, instead opting to extend her investigation. This of course was so she could continually bill us. Marcy was provided with several pieces of evidence - not mere statements from friends - refuted claims that my son's mother made, including that he was diagnosed with autism. She was provided a statement from my therapist refuting a claim that I had been violent in a therapy session. She was provided evidence from the State that my son's mother misreported her income by upwards of 150K. None of these findings compelled Marcy to effectuate her moral compass. Marcy was, instead, more interested in policing my reactions to endless alienation tactics, fabrication, misrepresentation of fact, violence perpetrated against myself, but more importantly my son. Marcy complained to my attorney about the lengthy responses via email, but offered milquetoast remedies, often simply reiterating a point that I had made. Marcy was hired to advocate for my son, but she fell quite short of the mark. Marcy, of course, enjoys a fine reputation inside a court system that functions off family dysfunction. This is nothing to be lauded or to be taken as a measure of her effectiveness. Marcy performs outrage well. She is by no means incapable. Her cold indifference in moments that matter are what should give any potential client pause. Marcy allowed my impassioned responses to countless, deliberate attempts to alienate me from my son to distract her from seeking an outcome that best suited him. I am aware that her staff will respond to this. For the record, I do not care if raising my voice to defend my son makes anyone uncomfortable. I do not care if inviting an agency, that my tax dollars fund, to remedy a situation that the paid help would not make Marcy feel upstaged. I only care about the well-being of my son and I remain hopeful that he is not further traumatized by his sister, or any random man's child. I remain prayerful that his mother's behavior does not escalate into something far more detrimental, now that she has been emboldened to do so. It would be more than unfortunate for my son to suffer additional trauma because Marcy knew something wrong had happened and did nothing!
