After a routine office visit, her staff failed to call and let me know that my BP was high, and Dr. Fluellen called me the following day (Saturday AM), apologizing on their behalf and asking me to go to the ER to get checked out immediately. 2) I'm currently 11 months PP and have been struggling with PP depression; Dr Fluellen and I discussed going on medication, but she gave birth shortly after me, and has been on maternity leave ever since. Another doctor in her practice, Dr. Morikawa, prescribed me an SSRI, but failed to write it for the correct amount or provide me with any refills. I've been without medication for 3 days now, and despite calling the office multiple times, leaving messages on their machine and with their answering service, I've received no response back. At this point, I feel it would negligent to recommend seeing anyone in their practice, since both instances could have resulted in serious health repercussions on my end, and unfortunately I'll be looking for a different doctor to see from now on.

She ordered a blood test and when I went in to get the results, she told me very coldly that I had a brain tumor. She said she would get me set up with a MRI, but that I DEFINITELY had one. She left the room quickly and I had to chase her down to ask her if the results could mean anything else. She said Emphatically..."NO". I went home crying and very scared. The MRI was scheduled but it was not for a few weeks. I couldnt wait so I took my blood test to a Endocronologist who took one look at my blood work and said "You don't have a brain tumor, you are in Menopause!" I felt such relief, but still had the MRI just in case. The test confirmed I did NOT have a tumor. I was relieved but very very mad at the false diagnosis and the lack of empathy Dr. Mallor showed when delivering the news.

She was extremely reassuring and supportive through a stressful time, and made me feel so cared for. On the day of my transfer, they also recommended my husband make a fresh juice for me from a few different veggies. When I looked it up later, there was a recent NIH study that reported higher transfer rates with this juice - so you know Dr. Bailey is staying on top of recent research. Dr Priors was friendly and professional. She has an excellent demeanor and is very knowledgeable not only about acupuncture and herbs, but also about the body in general as it pertains to natural remedies and lifestyle modification for health. I loved her references to modern studies and her blunt commentary on these studies and clarification on conflicting information. Very much appreciated by a person like me who is curious and likes to take my care into my own hands. The office a legitimate doctors office with multiple practices on site. Their suite is cute, decorated for Christmas and has photos of clients and their families. She treated me for two things, hormonal balance for fertility and a stiff neck. The stiff neck was drastically improved the day after treatment. It will take longer to measure results on the hormonal treatments. Cost for fertility treatments is $225 1st visit and $89 subsequent visits. They ask you to pay upfront, but offer a Superbill, which is a request to your medical insurance provider to reimburse you. Out of pocket cost for the first visit, depending on insurance, could be as low as $25-$75. Subsequent visits should be $15-$25, also depending on insurance. Highly recommend this practice, especially Dr. Priors.

After my biopsy, I was told I had a rare…read morecase involving all three CIN 1, 2, and 3, that it could potentially be cancer, and that I needed surgery. Hearing that was extremely scary and caused a lot of stress. But something didn't sit right with me, because the Pap smears I had the last three years all came back normal, so to get such an extreme abnormal result seemed odd, so I went to an oncologist at USC for a second opinion. The oncologist performed another biopsy, and those results confirmed it was only CIN 1. I was told the original interpretation was incorrect and that surgery was not necessary. The original pathology report even mentioned that the analysis was limited due to acute inflammation and thin or crushed specimens. Given that, I was surprised that the recommendation moved so quickly to surgery without more caution or a step-by-step approach. Being told I might have cancer and needed surgery, only to later find out that wasn't the case, was incredibly stressful and avoidable. I would strongly encourage anyone in a similar situation to seek a second opinion before moving forward with an invasive procedure. If you are looking for thorough care, I would not recommend seeing this doctor and going elsewhere.
