Fish tanks are an added plus that I can imagine be a great distraction as our child gets older. - Also you know a place is clean when there are no finger prints or smudges on the fish tank can you imagine how many children are pointing at Nemo! Her bedside manners are exceptional and she is very genuine in her approach. We were having a few early baby difficulties and she was able to address them quickly and effectively. The Dr. has been very patient answering all the questions we had (there was many I want to admit to). I would highly recommend Dr.Ornstein and it is nice to know that our child will be well taking care of by a doctor that saw her from birth. If you are looking for a pediatrician service for your child I would give them a try based on my experience I would not go anywhere else if I had saw the previous reviews prior to scheduling and meeting Dr.Ornstein I would of perhaps reconsidered but we are so happy we had that chance opportunity to meet the dr and based on that experience she passed her interview and the practice has a new patient.

Specifics: When we went, they had an issue with the HVAC and the temperature INSIDE the office was 50 degrees. Despite all of the adults being bundled up, no one acknowledged the temperature, and the protocols were exactly the same - they asked us to undress our 1-year-old twins down to their diapers and to wait until the doctor was ready, and the wait was about 15 minutes. The doctor we saw was adamant that our kids should only be eating pureed foods, which directly contradicted what our pediatrician from Tribeca Pediatrics had been telling us. When it came time to do the two vaccinations, the doctor was painfully slow, and refused to even open the cap of the second syringe ahead of time, did not have the band aids ready to go, etc. so both babies were screaming unnecessarily. At Tribeca, our doctor had both syringes ready to go, and had a technique to give both shots at once with one hand to minimize the trauma for our kids. Despite sending full medical records for our twins prior to our appointment (since they will not let you make an appointment until a doctor reviews your records, and "approves" you as a patient), they had not uploaded the records into their own system so the doctor did not have any information during the appointment (while our kids were freezing). They also entered the gender of one of our kids incorrectly. Again, no apology or any sort of acknowledgment that this was an error on their part. Lastly, we've been trying to get our vaccination records from them. I called once to get access to the portal (which you explicitly have to ask for?), explaining that I was looking for records. The portal is slow, poorly laid out and looks like it was built 20 years ago. After realizing the records were nowhere to be found, I called again to have someone tell me they have to release the records separately. I asked for both twins records to be released to the portal. They only released one. Painful.

I was afraid she might have an ear infection brought her to PM pediatrics was told she has a really bad ear infection and that there's pus in her ear so I went and got her antibiotics. She was refusing to take the antibiotics so we called her regular doctor for her regular doctor. Check her to see what can be done. Turns out she has no ear infection. The doctor told me PM pediatrics is known for doing things like this. My recommendation stay far far far away from them.

I called Riverside Pediatrics and they were able to get us an appointment that afternoon. The staff was efficient and courteous. The office utilizes easy to use online tools for scheduling and paperwork. And, they accepted our insurance, which was a big relief because we only started it a few days earlier. Once in the office I hardly had time to sit down before the doctor was attending to us. (Amazing!) As for treatment: Dr. Bansilal's bedside manner was absolutely superb! She was gentle, firm, and professional. In less than a minute my 2-year-old daughter, who has appropriate stranger danger, was totally comfortable with her and was following her instructions. She clearly explained to me what she thought was wrong, how she arrived at that conclusion, what we were going to do about it, what to expect, and what to be vigilant against. Riverside Pediatrics is clean and welcoming. They have a well room for children who aren't sick to wait in. There are magazines for adults, books and toys for children, and the Kids Netflix is always on for the children in the waiting room. There is plenty of seating while waiting. The women at the front desk are very nice and the check ins are always quick. The pediatricians are great with the kids and are always able to answer any questions on the dot. The professionalism is outstanding. If I were to ever have children, I would trust this location to be my kid's pediatrician.

Upon calling the office, I was told she was too busy to see her. I got in my car and went to the office anyway to find the Dr had left for the day and was in fact not busy at all. I then filled out the necessary paperwork to have my daughters medical records transferred to another doctor. It has now been two weeks and they still have not received the paperwork. No doctors will see children without records confirming immunizations. She is completely negligent and entirely rude. Also at my last visit I told the dr I thought my daughter had cradle cap. After making me feel stupid about it she told me i wrong and it was sebboriac dermatitis. I googled it st home to find that it is the medical term for cradle cap. I highly recommend finding a different pediatrician.
