I am so grateful for Riverside Pediatrics, and I emphatically recommend them. My family just arrived in Greenwich when my daughter developed a bad fever and a gravely cough. I called Riverside Pediatrics and they were able to get us an appointment that afternoon. The staff was efficient and courteous. The office utilizes easy to use online tools for scheduling and paperwork. And, they accepted our insurance, which was a big relief because we only started it a few days earlier. Once in the office I hardly had time to sit down before the doctor was attending to us. (Amazing!) As for treatment: Dr. Bansilal's bedside manner was absolutely superb! She was gentle, firm, and professional. In less than a minute my 2-year-old daughter, who has appropriate stranger danger, was totally comfortable with her and was following her instructions. Dr. Bansilal listened attentively and asked lots of questions before forming a diagnosis. She clearly explained to me what she thought was wrong, how she arrived at that conclusion, what we were going to do about it, what to expect, and what to be vigilant against. Our experience was so good that when we were leaving my daughter said, unprompted, "I like the doctor!" I totally agree! Love this practice!!! read more

Note: I do not have children/ take my children here. I am a nanny and often visit the pediatrics with my work family and this is my review of the facility. Riverside Pediatrics is clean and welcoming. They have a well room for children who aren't sick to wait in. There are magazines for adults, books and toys for children, and the Kids Netflix is always on for the children in the waiting room. There is plenty of seating while waiting. The women at the front desk are very nice and the check ins are always quick. The pediatricians are great with the kids and are always able to answer any questions on the dot. The professionalism is outstanding. If I were to ever have children, I would trust this location to be my kid's pediatrician. read more

This is quite possibly the worst pediatrics office I have ever dealt with in my life. Most of the issues are from the office manager, Belinda. These have been ongoing administrative issues with the staffs incompetence and unprofessional behavior - these issues range in unprofessionalism and ineptitude in management. As I am reading numerous horrendous reviews from Greenwich Mom's & Greenwich Connections via FB to Yelp & Google reviews, my family are not the only ones that have suffered at the hands of the rude unprofessional secretaries. We have been taking our children here since they were born. We came to this practice because of the expertise and service Dr Karen Beckman provides. She was a great resource when our kids were babies any time day or night. She has moved her office to this location since we have been seeing her. She has two other doctors on staff, but we are Beckman faithfuls! We have seen the other doctors for sick visits, but all annual check ups have been with her. Parking can be tricky but there is a designated lot for the office. The receptionists and techs are always helpful and patient. I would highly recommend anyone to take their kids here!! read more

I wish I could give RP more then 5 stars. My daughter is 5 months old and we have been coming here from Rye since birth. We love Dr Beth Rosenberg!! She makes me feel so at ease, she spends quality time with us and never makes the visit feel rushed. I have just never seen this kind of service at any medical practice. Doctors are usually so quick to rush you out the door. I highly recommend this group if you are looking for all of the above. I'll also add that the front desk staff are amazing and so warm upon arrival. It's always been such a great experience from start to finish. Never have I been treated so well then I was at this practice. Jessica in particular is extraordinary. I called the office late on a Friday afternoon where most places would have rushed me off the phone preparing for the weekend. I babbled to her in a panic about a situation I was dealing with with my son. Jessica was calm, caring, kind, and SO helpful. She called me numerous times throughout the weekend to ensure everything was going as planned. What a gift to have her working at Riverside Pediatrics. I cannot say enough good things about her. Of course Dr. Beckman is incredible as well, but it's such a treasure when the whole office is so amazing. Can't rave enough! read more

I have two kids who go there and am surprised by the negative reviews. We have had mostly positive experiences. Their doctors seem to care deeply about the kids. We have tried several practices in the area, and this one is the one we are sticking with. My one gripe is that they have a tendency to over-prescribe antibiotics, but I've had that issue with every other pediatrician my kids have gone to. They do charge a $75 annual fee per kid, though in addition to school forms this covers overnight on-call doctor consultations, which we have used several times. As for spacing out vaccines, we have done that for both of our kids and they haven't given us any gripe. While their waiting area isn't huge, I've never found it to be dirty or been unable to get a seat. I have never experienced the doctors and staff to be anything but friendly, professional, and respectful to my concerns. Moreover, the after-hours clinic and overnight on-call are great, as my kids never seem to get sick during business hours. For those parents unhappy with the experience here, I wish them luck finding a better practice in the area. I've tried, and they don't exist. read more

I had just relocated from the west coast and had no referencess for a pediatrician here in CT. I researched several pediatricians and decided to try Dr. Karen Beckman at Riverside Pediatrics. She was a perfect fit for my girls and when we have had to go in for after hours we also had a great experience with the on call doctors. The nurses are great as well! Billing here is very very fuzzy. Just got charge an annual fee again for the 3rd time within less than a year. And we always end up getting charged for "medical supplies" for a well-visit check up which usually is 100% covered by my insurance unless if its excessive. Its only a few bucks, so we always let it go, but the annual fee is ludicrous. we don't mind paying it once a year, but it should only be once a year. Also heard other parents from summer camp complaining about the same thing. One parent insisted she called number of times to try to resolve and haven't gotten any response. hopefully my wife will have better luck. otherwise, we're moving our kids and our soon to be newborns away. My wife likes the doctors, the nurses, and staff are generally friendly, but I don't like to get ripped off especially with 4 kids soon. read more

Oh oh, Medical services here seem to be pure business for them. You should be very careful (if you ever plan to go there which I don't recommend). In my case they have done some unauthorized medical audits with my son which were very expensive. Oh, I just went there for a school examination. And at the end they wouldn't even be able to tell what the results mean... but charged more than $600. Not recommended at all. Greedy and not knowledgeable about the treatments they offer based on my experience. read more

I have 3 kids and have loved this practice for the past 7 years. Even though I have since moved I'm still sticking with these wonderful doctors and nurses! As a side note their hours are great and we love the after hours care too. Couldn't be happier. read more

This practice is HORRIBLE! From the doctors visit and capability, to processing the billing correctly, to customer interaction. There is NOT one thing this practice did well, politely or timely. I would rate this practice a zero. Even under an emergency situation and they were the only doctors practice available I would never bring my child there. The doctor misdiagnosed my child for a very simple issue and their office staff are incapable of processing a bill and are very unprofessional. read more

Worst practice ever!!! First off they have the audacity to charge an annual fee of $75 per child for "administrative fees" (which basically covers your child's camp and school forms...as if it really takes more than 30 seconds to fill it out). Absolutely appalling! Then of course you have the front desk staff which aside of the fact that they are not friendly, they are not helpful either. Dr Resto comes off as clueless and disengaged. The other two doctors I saw where quick and dismissive with very little insight. In fact one of them asked if she could consult with her staff before answering one of my concerns. WTF!!! Aren't you doctors? On my second yr old well visit, they did't tell me where she was on the growth chart, they expressed and even made me feel like a bad parent for refusing to give my child the full required vaccination dosage (5 vaccines). Telling me that I should take in consideration the endangerment of other children by failing to vaccinate mine, because I'm spreading them out??? No follow up on children's health, no thank you...nothing! Pure business! What ever happened to doctors doing this for the love of medicine. On top of that if you cancel your appointment two hours prior , because let's say you'r stuck in traffic they charge you $100...yes obscene. No waiver for first time mistake and no, they don't call as most if not all other practices, ahead of time to confirm appointment. As if they want you to forget and make the quick buck. In conclusion, this practice is a TOTAL BUSINESS. So unless your first priority is not your child, then DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! read more

Riverside Pediatrics is the worst. They charge you $100 for a hearing test that insurance doesn't cover and they never tell you. And when my daughter was in there recently they charged us $12 for over the counter Motrin and $80 for the doctor to give it to her, neither of which was covered by insurance. Good luck with these greedy doctors. read more

Wonderful practice. Excellent staff and amazing late hours. I've been going to Riverside Pediatrics since it started and have enjoyed it's growth. The hours are extremely helpful as well. Dr. Rascoff, Dr. Beckman and Dr. Noble are hands down my favorites, but most all doctors have been efficient and helpful during stressful situations and illnesses. I wouldn't trust my kids with anyone else. read more

I have been taking my two children to Dr. Beckman for over 5 years and couldn't be happier. The nursing and front desk staff are excellent and always accommodating to my needs. I'm always able to speak with a nurse on the spot when I call. The front staff has always been accommodating with same day sick appointments. Dr. Beckman is very knowledgeable and very patient in taking the time to answer all my questions. I would highly recommend this practice !! another great perk is their free parking directly outside of the building! read more

Everyone is very friendly and always willing to go the extra mile for us! We switched from another pediatric practice in Greenwich and decided to come to Riverside Peds because they are known for how great they are! We couldn't be happier! read more

The back office is rude and unhelpful, especially the billing. The woman could barely speak proper english, she was so ghetto! I asked her for a statement of account and she had no clue what that was, i asked her if a fee was prorated, and again she didn't know what it was! She got upset and yelled at me about how , "we aint got nothin like dat hea". I could not believe that for my $75 membership fee, I get yelled at and I don't even get my questions answered. I stayed because the after hours were convenient, even after the dumb back office, but after seeing more of the doctors i realized i had to go. read more
