However, the Trail Creek Rep. & only person working was in her car & ready to leave. After she saw us, she marched in & unlocked the door to let me in. (It took a few minutes for her to unlock the door.) I was charged an extra $10 for picking up our dog because "the door was locked & her boss gets mad". A half-day penalty charge for being on time - really! It is not about the $10 charge, or that we had until 5pm. It's about the PRINCIPLE, & Trail Creek Pet Center has none. BTW: The time was 5:06pm when I returned to my car with our Golden-Doodle & recapped my story about the rapacious Trail Creek Rep.

And the owner demanded his $24 before even releasing the dog. Unbelievable. You can't even see the place your dog will stay because you are not allowed in the back for "insurance reasons". If you are ok leaving your dog hostage in what amounts to a cold & noisy kennel go for it. I would rather sleep in the car with the dog than leave her there one more night.
