He thoroughly enjoys every minute spent at WBI and is so pleased to see how his hard work is paying off! The drive, dedication, and discipline Coach Granich models is phenomenal. It's one thing to be an amazing coach but it's another thing to be a fantastic all-around role model. My son looks up to Coach Granich. Head guy Watson clearly plays favorites, does these ridiculously trick plays that are super embarrassing, especially when the U-14 team would go on to lose by a dozen or more. I also have never seen a team get picked off stealing more and they lost the last 15 or more games straight at the end of the season. So....they got worse. I think probably the lowlight (and when I should have pulled my poor son from this program) when after the 3rd or 4th game of the entire season, when my son had the courage to approach Watson and ask what he could do possibly to earn more playing time. His response verbatim "Well you can't hit, so learn how to bunt." That's the opposite of a decent coach, let alone a good one. Unfortunately, there is even more I can add about some of his unethical behaviors with the team and parents but do not feel this is the correct forum to disclose. Do your research before you give this guy a dime. I gave 2 stars only because the boys on the team were wonderful, well mannered and showed work ethic, respect and kindness despite the leadership.

Brought my task trained medical alert SERVICE DOG to the arena and was told she cannot be in there…read more Not only did she have her service animal badge on her tag, but even after telling the worker that she is a service dog he stated that only blind people are allowed to have a service dog in the arena??? We also informed him that she is task trained to bring me my medication. Please see below for my RIGHTS as a disabled persons from the Washington State Human Rights Commission "RCW 49.60.215 prohibits discrimination in a place of public accommodation due to the "use of a trained dog guide or service animal by a disabled person." WAC 162-26-130 requires "fair service in a place of public accommodation regardless of the use of a trained dog guide or service animal by a disabled person as well as because of the disability itself." (Internal quotations omitted.) Service animals must be allowed into all areas of a place of public accommodation where the general public is allowed - this includes dining and eating areas, restrooms, and areas where food is sold. A place of public accommodation cannot request that the service animal be removed unless it creates a risk of harm. This risk must be actual, and cannot be speculative or based on a fear of dogs. In addition, if an animal exhibits disruptive, poor or unsanitary behavior, it would not be considered a trained service animal, and can be removed." We brought seat pads with backs so it makes sitting in general admission more comfortable. The one thing that was a total disappointment were their concession choices. We are season ticket holder for OSU baseball and their concession stands offer a variety of food, so many option, even a vegan burger. We were starving but they only had hotdogs, nachos, candy and beverages. It just fell short for us. We bought some kettle corn and it was pretty tasteless and bland! The field was beautiful and sound system good.

Rainier over the right-center field wall and the Cascades + Lake Washington over the left-center field wall. I was a little shocked to see it was only 317' down the right field line! I think I've been to softball fields with deeper dimensions. My only hope is that it's because of the prevailing winds. If not, I feel sorry for any right-handed pitchers that pitch at this ballpark! The website shows an artificial turf infield but that appears to be (thankfully) replaced by the real thing. At $6 per game and only $15 for a family, it's a great deal. College baseball is a lot of fun and I look forward to attending more games, especially if the the Seattle weather gods give me more sunny 80 degree days!

There are covered dugouts and spectator stands on both ends. Very limited parking options. That's a big drawback. The walkway around the field is ideal for jogging/biking.

It is such a well run organization, that has managed to be, and stay, focused on the kids and their success-not only in sports, but beyond- all these years. That really takes dedicated and great people on every level. A very good friend of mine sponsored my son's team last year, and the coaches and families on our team embraced the whole company as part of our team and family. As far as I know, the League supported and delivered on it's promises to our sponsor company as well.
