If you're an iced tea drinker, I highly recommend getting a spiced iced tea. I was skeptical at first, but it's actually just cinnamon iced tea and was lovely. I had the nachos with ground beef. The sauce was not a generic out of the can sauce. the chips were crisp and the ground beef was well seasoned. The only complaint I have if I have to have one is that the jalapeños were very thickly sliced and took over the entire flavor of any bite they were in; a smaller dice on them would've allowed for the jalapeños to be spread out over the entire nacho and not overwhelm the rest of the flavors. My companion had the mushroom Swiss burger with fries and said they were both a solid burger and fries no complaints. Wheelchair accessibility: accessible parking across the street with a crosswalk; the front door is heavy so you're gonna either need help or be able to open a heavy door and there's actually two doors but plenty of room to maneuver between. the path of travel wasn't bad and there's wheelchair accessible seating in the back of the restaurant. There is no wheelchair accessible seating in the bar area. The bathroom door was light .The accessible stall in the women's bathroom had a grab bar, but there was not sufficient turning radius and the soap was up a little high.

The mussels were decent but the blending of flavor was more like several ingredients dumped into a boiling brew. The pizza with onions, red sauce, pepperoni and chunks of meatballs were hot but again, not flavors complementing each other. The complimentory 1/2 loaf of baked bread with cheese, butter and garlic was addictive and quickly consumed. The food was average at best. While we were eating inside this nicely decorated establishment, a homeless person presented to our table twice asking us to give her food. It appeared that she was going to grab food off our table. I was finally able to waive down a waitress and inform of the situation. Finally, the kitchen staff and management were able to escort her out of the restaurant. Our experience at Ciao Mambo was indeed an adventure. The food needs some real attention for flavor, melding of combinations and more development. While the staff hustled all night, I feel that they need better kitchen support to vastly improve the dining experience at Ciao Mambo.

There were so few onions and they were so small that I initially thought they had left them off. The pizza sauce was very bland and the crust was ok but nothing special. All I could taste was the sausage (there was a lot of that!) but it's wasn't very good. The whole thing was like something you'd get at a high school cafeteria.
