I tried this place for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with the pie. It was a different style then I normally find and it was great. A nice thin crust that still has sustenance and flavor. I also got the fire wings that were pretty good with a nice burn to it. I got it delivered and it came timely and was hot. Husband always wants PIZZA. On our last trip to Billings the search was on... We sifted through the local options and decided on this establishment. We called in, asking about delivery availability, specialty ordering, location, and they were so helpful and accommodating! Our hotel was out of their delivery range so we placed a pickup order. 2 calzones, 1 combination, and the other gyro. Pick up was on time, the employees were super fun and friendly and our calzones were fantastic! The dough was buttery golden brown with seasonings and cheese on top. Stay away from this business at all costs. Got ripped off for $138. I tried calling to dispute the charge but it's closed. Look at it. The first charge was kind of but not really legitimate. The total should've been $56.50. I called to add a bigger tip and told them to make it an even $20 tip. Not really worried about the $2. But the second charge for over $139 is inexcusable. I understand there are issues with pending charges, but this was a POSTED charge. I now have to wait until Monday to dispute this and who knows how long it will be until I get money back or if I ever will. It's a headache not worth it. The pizza was terrible anyways. I always get extra pepperoni, as you can see by the receipt, and if that's their definition of extra pepperoni I'd hate to see what their standard was. There so little pepperoni on it that I had to pick them off two pieces and move them to make the pizza somewhat edible but was bad. The Calzone was pretty good. 3/5 there. I was staying at a hotel and maybe they do this because they think they'll never get a repeat customer from one and pull this stuff or what but I pass through Billings a lot as it's always my first or last stop going East and I will NEVER be back. read more

The chicken on the pizza was perfectly seasoned and the crust tasted very flavorful and perfectly chewy and crisp. The Ranch on the side added a perfect extra touch drizzled on top. The pizza was great. We were staying in Billings for a funeral, and this pizza was just what we needed. The online ordering system didn't work quite right, and my complete order didn't process. Having just moved the the west end and with our efforts to order from new places during the "shelter in place" order, we ordered delivery from Pie Guys. We ordered a large pepperoni and pesto cheese sticks. I grew fond of pesto cheese sticks at another local establishment and had no clue they could be even more awesome! Here's what I liked about this place: 1. Delivery. 2. The delivery guy was cool. He had a beard which made him seem nonthreatening even though he towered over me. 3. The crust was thin, chewy, and flavorful. 4. The pepperoni was man-sized much like our friendly delivery man. 5. Reasonably priced. That all said, I wasn't a fan of the sauce. It was spicy which I like, but it tasted burnt. Too heavy with the tomato paste perhaps. A little tweaking could push this up to 4 star pizza. The only thing that would make it 5 star pizza isn't legal anywhere in the world, but if you're curious let me know and I'll fill you in. read more

So I was just 86'd from this place, and I admit I was frustrated, but the person who I am assuming was the manager, kept interrupting me when I tried yo talk. I have ordered delivery from them numerous times, and always tip. And I always leave instructions on how to fund my apartment, with the code to get in my building. A good majority of the time I have to go search for them outside, and I did this time, but did not find. I came back inside,and before I looked at text messages I called the delivery driver, not seeing that he sent me a text letting me know he was deaf. And this delivery driver has been here before, and got in the building just fine, and it wasnt that long ago. So he finally came to my door, where I thanked him, and was not rude. And maybe better customer service would be if he lead that he was deaf with the first text he sent me. I'm going to post a screen shot of our conversation. And yes, the text has capitol letters, but I was working on a project and did nota free hand to take the caps lock off. And I was not rude to anyone until I got the phone call and the person on the phone starting accusing me of being rude, which I wasn't. I'll admit it right off the bat - I'm a pizza snob. I grew up in New York City in a big Italian family with grandparents off the boat, been making making pizza and focaccia since I was a teenager and when the Doctor tries to take blood from me, gravy comes out (aka tomato sauce). In NYC you're spoiled with having a pizzeria on nearly every other corner. Ok, you get the picture - Decided to try the Pizza Guys since I was next door doing some laundry and I'm new to Billings. Read reviews and wanted to try The Grail pie. So I walked in, and there's no customers in there, just one of the Pizza Guys. I say hello and that I'd like to order a Grail pie and he sneers and says "What size?" and points to the metal screen sizes nailed to the wall. 3 sizes, 10, 14 and 18 inch. I ask how much the 14 inch pie is and he points again, but this time at the take out menus on the counter. I guess it was really too much effort for him to actually converse with me, so I opened up the menu and see the outrageous prices and definitely opt for the medium, 14 inch at $15.75 ($22.50 for an 18 inch!!). Alright, I sit down because I'm a geek and I want to watch the pie being made. Pizza Guy #2 emerges from the back and pulls a minuscule piece of dough out of the fridge. He plops it down on the deck, which has way too much flour on it, and he stretches it out a bit. Then he pulls out a ROLLER. What? After he rolled it out he aerated it with a dough docker - Aaagh!! Then he picks it up and stretches it out some more by hand and places it on one of the round metal screens. The Pizza gods looking down from Mt. Vesuvius watched in total disgust. Pizza gets topped and thrown in the oven. I go get my laundry and return and the pie is ready. I take it out to the car and wanted to try a slice while it was still hot, even though I prefer pizza to be cooled off a bit, almost room temperature. I picked up a slice and my hand was now covered in oil. I grabbed some napkins and decided to wait until I got home. I get home and the pie actually looks okay. I don't like that there's no raised crust circling the outside edge of the pie, but whatever, that would have required an ounce or two more dough. So I pick up a greasy soggy slice and taste it. I really like the spicy marinara sauce and the toppings. The problem is the dough. It's soaked through with oil and is too thin to support the oily toppings. And since it's aerated it's a uniform bland layer of blahness. Even a glass or two of red wine cannot save this paltry excuse for pizza. It's only a slight step above Dominoes and Walmart frozen pies. And can someone please explain to me why I got a small container of blue cheese dressing sitting in the middle of my pizza? Staying the night in Billings and the front desk guy at the hotel recommended the Pie Guys for delivery. They were here in twenty minutes with a fresh, delicious pizza. Perfectly crunchy thin crust and some fun cheese sticks that resembled Papa John's (but better because they were drenched in pesto, NOM). All for under $20. Noice! read more
