She talked me through the process and regularly checked on me to make sure I was good. It was very relaxing! The end results was great as well. The receptionist was very kind and friendly she is the only person who's name I forgot to get , anyways she checked me in I filled out the beauty waiver . Then Amanda went over how I wanted my lashes and confirmed the pricing . She was also very friendly , and she was very gentle while doing my lashes . All I can say is ,"we should have known better " When my mom "won" a 50% off eyelash lift (which did not include the tint) she scheduled us both to go in. We were advised that the lift was good for some women who did not have enough lashes to support extensions. I was also led to believe I wouldn't need mascara at least for awhile after the treatment. The problems started when we arrived, as my mom had been told over the phone that the tint was $20 extra, while I had not been told there was ANY up charge for the tint. But the actual tint charge was $25. Also, during the lengthy waiver signing process I answered yes to two of the questions; do I wear contacts and do I have dry eye. I did think it was strange that no one went over that or even mentioned it to me. When my mom and I expressed our displeasure over the tint price and told them the tint is only $10 extra at core power spa the young lady did offer more than once to let us back out of the process without losing our deposit We decided to go ahead. So for me, $100 later I really can see no difference except that my eyes seem tired and red afterwards. I never had good eyelashes but this was certainly a waste of money! My mom is convinced that her lashes are actually SHORTER than before. She already had sparse lashes and she says they're now short, as if the tips broke off. The young lady who did the treatment did tell my mom it didn't do enough for her to warrant her coming in to have it done again, but she did tint her eyebrows and they looked very nice. Quite dissatisfied with my lash tint/lift. I was not properly advised. I have very long lashes naturally and was recommended the lift/tint would look awesome--basically I would look like I curled and had mascara on rolling out of bed. I was not informed how important it was to refrain from talking or moving during the treatment--my beautician, who was super sweet but very talkative, told me this after i said my eyes were burning/stinging that it could be because we were chatting. The results of the treatment were super disappointing as well. My lashes are crooked and hit my eyelids. The tint wore off in a few days and i'm left with crinkled lashes. I absolutely cannot wear mascara so just desperately hoping the lift fades quickly. Would not recommend in the future and I don't know if this was because of their expertise or the fact I have long lashes and if the latter, I should of been professionally advised. read more

I had a terrible experience with this place. I am usually not a reviewer of places however this place made me so angry I have to share. I have had eyelash extensions on for over a year. I recently moved to Minnesota and needed a new place to go for eyelash extensions. So I tried this place. Not only did they fall out over the next couple days (It is not my first time I know to not get them wet etc.) They of course left a few remnants behind leaving my eyelashes to look wretched for days. The girl who I will not name also told me at the end of my appointment that they were not as full as she would like and I could book an express appointment for an additional $100 and that there was an opening next door and I could get in right away. I knew I was headed back to Milwaukee for a small vacation so I called my girl who had previously done my eyelashes for years. She took a look at what she was dealing with. She found my eyelashes cut - mind you your eyes are closed the entire time so you can't see what it's happening so you want to be able to trust what is happening. She said to me that you NEVER cut eyelashes. They make eyelash remover and you use some of that to remove grown out lashes. She showed me what had been cut and where. We aren't not talking about the fake eyelashes we are talking about my real eyelashes. I was super upset but I'm not one to call and complain because what are they going to do? I'm already out around $125 and I can't trust them so it gets me nowhere. So my girl put on a whole new full set which isn't cheap either and I cut my losses. However... a day after I found out my lashes had been cut I get a phone call from the manager. She was wondering how my service was... I shared mine with her. She continued to tell me that they are not trained to cut lashes and that she would look into it. I requested a refund because why would I go back for another service when I can not trust them in the first place? I got a call back about a week later requesting photos and the best they could do was offer another service. They requested the photos and my response was why it's not going to get us anywhere clearly you are saying it's my fault, and the best you can do for me is another service that I clearly do NOT trust. I asked her if she understood how that made me feel as a customer and also how that made her business come off as. She then told me we were at an in-pass and were not going to come to terms. I responded yes you are correct. I hung up angrier than ever for not only being out money but also at how the situation was handled. Thank you so much for wasting my time. read more

It's been several months since I first had eyelash extensions put on and can say they are so worth it. I had been considering getting eyelash extensions for awhile because of my allergies. My eyes water at the drop of a hat and waterproof mascara make my natural lashes fall out. When a girlfriend at work came in with them on I was completely sold and decided to go for it. She referred me to Amy Presson, owner of http://www.jettmakeup.com/. Amy is absolutely fantastic and very professional. We had a consultation about how I wanted my lashes to look. I told her that I wanted long and full but still wanted them to look real. She showed me some before and after pictures with different lengths. She was very patient in explaining the application process to help calm my nerves about allergies and the best way to care for my new lashes. As well as being an expert in this field she is also a makeup artist and always happy to answer to any question I may have. Each fill appointment takes about an hour; I tend to fall asleep because the atmosphere of Amy's Lash Bar is so relaxing. My lashes have always have been long but the problem was they are very light in color and never very full. The lash extensions have definitely filled them out and added a good amount of length. Because of the dark color of the lash there is absolutely no need for mascara. Each lash extension is attached individually to one of my own lashes and fall out naturally with my own. My eyes did water a little throughout the process however all the lashes stayed intact. Recently I was on vacation and spent quite a bit of time in the ocean swimming and snorkeling and my lashes held up beautifully. I absolutely love that I can wake up, wash my face, put on moisturizer and lip gloss and I am ready to go. Every day I seem to hear at least once "wow, your eyelashes are so long". First, their lashes are better quality, they are light as air, you can't even tell you have them on. Second, both Amy and Trish have flawless technique when it comes to application of the lashes. I have nothing but good things to say about Jett. I received genuine and friendly service from the moment I walked in the door, and I felt comfortable right away. I have gotten lash extensions 10+ times at 4 or so different businesses, and while some were better than others, I couldn't find what I was looking for. I kept getting heavy cookie cutter lashes that were not what I wanted and also did not suit my features. Enter Natalie. She took the time to sit down with me, carefully listen to what I wanted, and review each type of lash with me (both the aesthetic effect and price). When we settled on a general idea, Natalie executed it beautifully. She stopped partway through to get my opinion, and ended up making an adjustment based on my personal eye shape and lash growth. Even though I was happy so far, she went the extra mile to add in finishing touches with tiny detail lashes--something that I wouldn't have known how to ask for but love. Please don't waste your time and money going here. I thought I had done my research when selecting where to get eyelash extensions in the Minneapolis area, but was very let down with Jett. My first full set of mink eyelashes took 3 (very uncomfortable) hours to apply and cost $450. I also purchased the eye mask and the conditioning serum that was supposed to make them last longer, I was determined to do everything in my power to make these babies last. The majority of the extensions fell out in the first week, so for the remaining 2 weeks until my fill, my lashes were pretty sparse. I chalked that up to me being too rough on them and gave Jett another chance, but made sure to book my fill with a different person the next time. The next fill took 2 more uncomfortable hours and was $200. Again, the majority of the lashes fell out within that first week (mostly in the first 4 days). No natural lash appeared to be connected to them, making it seem like they were applied incorrectly. I'm now due for a fill again but have canceled my appointment and don't know what to do. My lashes are extremely sparse and any natural lashes I can see are EXTREMELY short. And yes, I understand they will look short compared to a lash extension, but these lashes are just beginning to grow in. Meaning, either the extensions pulled out my natural lashes or broke them off where the glue was attached. I've been keeping any lashes that fall out at home and they are a mix of synthetic and mink, when I paid for all mink. So now, I'm out $650 for 6 weeks of lashes and stuck with no natural lashes left to even apply mascara to. Very sad times indeed. Maybe I just had a bad experience with two of the three different people there, but I just can't justify ever going back. read more
