By Glasgow standards the curry was pretty tame, but it was quite tasty nonetheless.
I thought the papadums were verging on the soft side, but the selection of chutneys that came with them were delicious.
We both opted for the monkfish tandoori, which, despite being served on a huge plate, contained not much actual fish buried under a connection of onions and peppers. We had mango rice and a garlic and coriander Naan to go with this fortunately, so in terms of quantity it was just right. Again, very tasty but I would have liked a bit more of the fish.
Note that they don't currently have an alcohol license so it's strictly BYOB, but at least they didn't charge any corkage.
There's not much competition here and this is really the only game in town for a decent curry, but off you're the sort of person who likes burning through the roof if you're mouth with a Vindaloo I think you'll need to look elsewhere.
The price was very reasonable however, but maybe that's because there's no alcohol on the bill? read more
